Summary

I purchased this vehicle in 2004 from Westwind Limousines for $103,500. The builder was Murgel Limousines in Missouri. I am the only owner of the vehicle and have owned it since it was purchased in 2004. The title is free & clear. Throughout it's ~65,000 mile journey, it's been used for ~350 rentals. A vast majority of these miles were highway miles traveling from Dayton OH to both Cincinnati and Columbus. A significant amount of extra money was dumped into this vehicle as it was purchased, for upgrades to the stereo & chrome exterior pieces. In total, around ~$15,000.

Stereo System
The stereo system has a Kenwood KDC-X895 Head Unit which allows iPods / iPhones / Androids to be hooked up. We have an Alpine bass amp that pushes 550W RMS to two 12" subwoofers located in the trunk. There's an additional 600W Pioneer Premier Amp for the other speakers. Needless to say, it's absolute overkill...but the customers LOVE it all.

Chrome Upgrades
We have 22" chrome wheels all around. New tires were just installed last year so those will have plenty of miles left on them. Rather than list out all of the chrome upgrades, it's probably best to just check out the pictures in this listing or on the website.

Turnkey: Website + Company
This was initially purchased for recreation. After the novelty wore off, I turned it into a rental business. If you purchase this vehicle, you also get the entire company. This consists of the customer list (~350), website, marketing materials, branded promotional materials, existing marketing setups (Google Adwords, Bing, Limos.com, LimoPros.com), toll free number, Google Voice / email / voice setup, and much more. As of now, the business is 99% hands off for me. I have someone that takes care of answering the phones / emails and booking rentals for a fee. That person is more than happy to transfer over under new ownership. I have full financials available for the past and what I think this is able to do moving forward. If you'd like this information, let me know.

Certified / Licensed
It's been a pain...but I am certified and licensed with every government agency that's needed, including FMCSA, PUCO and OHDOT. I have an MC number and USDOT #.

Reason for Selling
I have other businesses I'd like to focus on. Even without giving this much attention, it makes money. That's paying the driver a % of each rental and the scheduling staff a % of each rental. I've neglected this business for quite some time, yet it still makes money. With the appropriate attention and focus, this can be an easy, and big money maker.

Condition
The only known issues are with the chrome wheels. Naturally, the rocks & gravel from roads have kicked up and dinged them a bit. The center caps are peeling a bit but I'm pretty sure those are only ~$100 total to replace. Everything else on the vehicle is in perfect working condition. It's one of my vices...but I've given this thing too much love and attention on repairs. Every single time something has acted up, it's been fixed. I could have certainly put some things off and made more money...but I'm a strong believer that vehicles should be kept in tip top shape. This limo was no exception.

History
As a full disclosure, this vehicle was involved in a few accidents. Insurance covered everything and all damages were fixed beautifully. I have yet to see a single issue, cosmetically or mechanically, from any of the previous incidents.

14 Passengers
The vehicle is rated for 14 passengers (plus the driver). If you own/operate vehicles like this, you know the benefits of that. There are a lot less restrictions on the drivers and government hoops you have to jump through. Insurance rates are also a lot less.

Features
If you're looking to buy a vehicle like this, you already know the basics. I'll mention everything that sets this apart from the others:
- Chrome upgrades
- Fiber optic lighting throught the vehicle (I can send night pictures of this upon request - it's cool as hell!)
- Infinity mirror on ceiling of interior (very cool also)
- 22" wheels
- Killer stereo
- Two TV's with DVD player; audio plays through stereo
- Bluetooth head unit allows calls to be made through the stereo / speakers
- Phone up front and back for passengers to talk to driver
- Powered partition between driver and passengers
- Oil changes every 3000 miles; full synthetic
- Very, very well taken care of and maintained
- Mostly highway miles
- You not only get the vehicle, you get a business that'll immediately turn a profit for you.
- Free & clear title

Tupac Shakur's 1996 Hummer H1 is for sale

Sun, May 8 2016

Tupac Shakur purchased this 1996 Hummer H1 on August 13,1996. This was just one month before the singer's death. It was his personal vehicle for a brief time and the last vehicle the rapper ever purchased. Now it's up for auction to the highest bidder. It comes with a 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8 engine, an automatic transmission, and only 10,101 miles on the odometer. There are also 38-inch Dick Cepek off-road lights, a 360-degree spotlight, grille guard, and diamond-plate bumpers. An external PA system with three sirens and 12-disc Clarion sound system are also part of the package. RELATED: See Images of the 2004 Hummer H1 There are two copies of the registration listing Tupac as the owner as well as an affidavit listing his mother, Afeni Shakur, as the property successor. The car was held in storage after Tupac's death, and eventually became a prize in a 2003 BET raffle. It is currently sitting in storage again in Vancouver, Canada awaiting the right buyer. RR Auction estimates its value at over $100,000 so it'll take some serious cash to put this car in your driveway. For EV drivers, realities may dampen the electric elation

Mon, Feb 20 2023

The Atlantic, a decades-old monthly journal well-regarded for its intelligent essays on international news, American politics and cultural happenings, recently turned its attention to the car world. A piece that ran in The Atlantic in October examined the excesses of the GMC Hummer EV for compromising safety. And now in its latest edition, the magazine ran a compelling story about the challenges of driving an electric vehicle and how those experiences “mythologize the car as the great equalizer.” Titled “The Inconvenient Truth About Electric Vehicles,” the story addresses the economics of EVs, the stresses related to range anxiety, the social effects of owning an electric car — as in, affording one — and the overarching need for places to recharge that car. Basically, author Andrew Moseman says that EV life isn't so rosy: “On the eve of the long-promised electric-vehicle revolution, the myth is due for an update. Americans who take the plunge and buy their first EV will find a lot to love Â… they may also find that electric-vehicle ownership upends notions about driving, cost, and freedom, including how much car your money can buy. "No one spends an extra $5,000 to get a bigger gas tank in a Honda Civic, but with an EV, economic status is suddenly more connected to how much of the world you get to see — and how stressed out or annoyed youÂ’ll feel along the way.” Moseman charts how a basic Ford F-150 Lightning electric truck might start at $55,000, but an extended-range battery, which stretches the distance on a charge from 230 miles to 320, “raises the cost to at least $80,000. The trend holds true with all-electric brands such as Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid, and for many electric offerings from legacy automakers. The bigger battery option can add a four- or five-figure bump to an already accelerating sticker price.” As for the charging issue, the author details his anxiety driving a Telsa in Death Valley, with no charging stations in sight. “For those who never leave the comfort of the city, these concerns sound negligible," he says. "But so many of us want our cars to do everything, go everywhere, ferry us to the boundless life we imagine (or the one weÂ’re promised in car commercials),” he writes. His conclusions may raise some hackles among those of us who value automotive independence — not to mention fun — over practicalities.

Super Bowl LVII car commercial roundup: Watch them all here

Mon, Feb 13 2023

Fewer automakers than usual spent money advertising during Super Bowl LVII. In total, there were only five traditional ad spots from three big OEMs. A number of car-adjacent ads aired during the Big Game, too, and we’ll bring you those ads in this roundup alongside the more obvious ones. WeÂ’ve compiled all of the automotive-related commercials for you here in this post so you donÂ’t have to go searching for them elsewhere. Read on below to see what aired as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles. Ram's Super Bowl spot offers a cure for 'Premature Electrification' This commercial revealed the new electric Ram Rev pickup, and itÂ’s themed like a prescription ad for an antidote to "Premature Electrification.” A concerned narrator in the Ram spot asks if you're afraid that going electric too soon will mean "you might not be able to last as long as you like," and there's a guy on a pier who's going to need some new equipment if he wants to catch fish. We're also told there are "options being designed to extend range in satisfying ways," so if this truck isn't right for you, you have choices. All the commercial's missing is a silly medical marketing name and six seconds of speed-reading gibberish about side effects like intestinal bleeding and death. Which are two more good things. Jeep 4xe Super Bowl commercial highlights modern version of 'Electric Boogie' JeepÂ’s “Electric Boogie” commercial follows the Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe in a variety of simulated off-road situations. Though fun, the soundtrack is the real star of the show. The songÂ’s original artist, Marcia Griffiths, was joined by Grammy winner Shaggy, Jamila Falak, Amber Lee, and Moyann on the track. The modernized re-recording celebrates 40 years since GriffithsÂ’ original track, and Jeep says the track is available for streaming now. Kia returns to the Super Bowl with the tale of 'Binky Dad' This year, Kia follows the adventure of "Binky Dad" in his quest to fetch his daughter's lost pacifier, which naturally takes him over just about every bit of terrain you might encounter upon leaving the civilized confines of Southern California for the not-so-civilized mountains of ... probably also California. It features the refreshed 2023 Kia Telluride, which probably doesnÂ’t need much advertising to see these days, but Kia went for it with the strong three-row SUV anyway.
