This is our personal Hummer.

Very good condition and no expense spared on maintenance. It is driven about 2 times a week.

Drone mobile security and remote start with two remotes plus you can control from your iPhone/smartphone. This allows you to lock unlock start track etc all from your phone/iPad $1,000 upgrade.

If you aren't familiar with the H2 Experience they are built like tanks. Heavy duty, go anywhere tow anything vehicles.

But as with any vehicle of this caliber, the H2s require certain maintenance and if not done before you buy them it will cost you thousands to have the proper maintenance performed.

So if you find one cheaper there may be a reason why:)

Here's a list of items known to the H2 that have to be maintained - we have addressed and replaced all these items.

All had wiper module issues (wiper module is right under cowling and water leaks in causing wipers and washer to not function) $400

At 90,000 miles the tie rods, ends, pitman arm, ball joints, a arms (upper and lower both sides), etc will need to be all replaced. These are extremely heavy vehicles and the front ends need extra maintenance. $1500

Cooling system needs flushed and water pump, thermostat and cap replaced at 100k miles all new $650

Catalytic converters - the insides will let loose at 100k to 105k miles - all new at 105k miles (they started to rattle) $1200

Body mounts - H2 have to have the body mounts replaced at 100k miles - they rust and will start making a popping noise when you turn.

Strange item for sure but if you own a Hummer you will figure it out sooner or later.

These are not cheap to own but for sure if you want one heck of a Prius EATER the H2 is for you.

This vehicle is not perfect but very nice driver and turns heads wherever it goes

Everyone thinks its crazy to own one, that is until the freak storm blows through then everyone and their brother wants a ride!

Everything we own is through our farm bank. Usually we can get the titles released with a couple of days after full payment is received but they tell me they have up to 10 business days AFTER payment clears. GiegerCars has a love affair with American cars, and a particularly strange affection for Hummers. The German tuner has created all sorts of strange variants like a Christmas-themed H2, a 700-horsepower H2 built for a Texas sheriff or any number of racing-liveried Hummers like the "Gulf Wing" or this Martini Racing inspired H3.
GiegerCars' latest creation is the Hummer H2 Bomber. The most notable modification is the addition of four Mattracks 88M1-A1 rubber tracks that replace the twenty inch wheels. The rest of the vehicle features a military design theme as well as a roof box with lighting and a silver matte paint finish. Now all we need is a race on a snow-covered drag strip between this and Ken Block's Subaru TRAX STI. Follow the jump for the press release from GeigerCars.

Mercedes moves R-Class production to AM General in Indiana

Go back a decade or two and you'd have seen the SUV market polarizing in opposite directions: hard-core off-roaders like the Hummer on the one hand, and passenger-focused crossovers like the Mercedes R-Class on the other. Now their fates are set to intertwine, at least as far as manufacturing is concerned. No longer producing Hummers, AM General (which designed and originally produced the Hummer) has been assigned the task of manufacturing the R-Class at its underused, 675,000 square-foot Commercial Assembly Plant in Mishawaka, IN – part of metropolitan South Bend. The decision was undertaken to allow Mercedes to free up production capacity at its plant in Tuscaloosa, AL, where it also produces the M-Class, GL-Class and C-Class, and where it will soon begin manufacturing the GLE Coupe. The vacation of the R-Class assembly line could be earmarked to make room for that new slant-roofed crossover (which was originally thought to be joining the Tuscaloosa plant as a fifth model) or could pave the way for another model to reach Alabama altogether. The multi-year arrangement to manufacture the R-Class makes AM General the first manufacturer contracted to build Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the US, but hardly the only one in the world. The G-Class Â– which could, incidentally, be characterized as the German equivalent of the Hummer Â– is built on Mercedes' behalf by Magna Steyr in Austria, and the company builds many of its passenger and commercial vehicles for local consumption under joint ventures in the Far East especially. The R-Class was first introduced in 2005, and though it's still built in America, it was removed from the company's US lineup back in 2012. However Mercedes confirms that, since 2013, it has been and remains available exclusively in China. That puts the R-Class in the rare position of being manufactured in the United States by (or now for) a foreign automaker but unavailable for sale here.
