What's up everybody, Thanks for viewing my car. Below are a couple of descriptions of the car that I have written for other people. If you have any questions, or if you just want to talk about Hondas and stuff give me a call. My cell is 240-925-7954 or you can email me at: kylewebber@hotmail.com

A/C ice cold, All scheduled maintenance, Custom wheels, Excellent condition, Looks & drives great, Never seen snow, New tires, No accidents, Non-smoker, Title in hand, Upgraded sound system, Very clean interior, Well maintained This is an awsome car. It is a 2000 Honda S2000 convertible. It is red with white powder coated Enkei wheels off of a 2006 honda S2000. There have been some slight performance upgrades. -Lowering spings on OEM shocks -Invidia Catback exaust -API cold air intake The car has been extremely well maintained. The plugs were replaced and valve lash adjusted within the last 15,000 miles. The oil has always been changed at regular intervals with AMS oil synthetic blend. The top was replaced 2 years ago and is in great shape. The differential and gearbox fluid is always changed on a 9,000 mile interval. There are 4 new Goodyear Eagle GT tires on it. The car handles like it's on rails and recieves lots of attention everywhere it goes. To be honest, I'm not really looking forward to seeing this one go, but I want to eventually buy an Acura NSX. That said the title is in hand and the car is ready for pick up. Good luck.

Here is some info that I wrote about the car for another dude:

The top is about 2 years old, the wheels come from a 2006 s2000 and are 17 inches. All four tires are Goodyear eagle GTs'  and I bought them new about 4 months ago from Mr. Tire in California, MD. The back wheels are a little wider than the front which is pretty awesome. The front brakes were replaced last summer, but I was thinking of doing them again just for good measure also the front rotors are about 5 months old and are still under warranty (so you can just swap them out for new ones @ autozone or I could do it for you if you want to work something out). I replaced the differential fluid about 6,000 miles ago with a mobile on synthetic gear fluid. The gearbox fluid was replaced at the same time as the diff fluid but I used the OEM Honda gear fluid in the gearbox. I change the motor oil with AMSOIL synthetic blend every 3,000 miles which is really overkill. There is an Invidia cat-back exhaust that sounds nice- not like one of those goofy set-ups with a gigantic silencer on the end. There is a really nice Apex intake and a couple of cosmetic touches to the engine bay which is really clean. The car sits on lower springs with OEM shocks. The headlights are all HID 55 watt bulbs and ballasts- super bright. There is a Sony head unit (lame.. in know) and alpine speakers. Last fall I replaced the plugs with the NGK super laser iridium whatever plugs. Everything on the car works. That's about all I can think of at the moment... I'm sure there is more- Oh! not that it makes a huge difference but there are new floor mats in the car. Anyway call or text me if you have any questions/ want to meet.

Again, good luck. I'm Rick James.

Update: Someone sent me a questions and it reads:

Question:

hello,
> pls get back to me with the full condition of this car with the final
> price, ...
> i'll be looking forward to hear back from you

Answer:

Overall the car is extremely clean. When I took it in to have it inspected about a week and a half ago there was literally NOTHING for the mechanic to fail the car with. There are some very minor blemishes on the exterior of the car: a couple dings, some small spots on the hood where small pebbles have hit the paint while the car was driving. The interior is also very clean with a little light wear in the drivers side seat, but NO cracking in the leather.

Honda recalling 1,400 units of 2016 Pilot to adjust seatbelts

Thu, Jul 16 2015

Just as the new model starts arriving at dealers, Honda is already recalling the 2016 Pilot in order to adjust the third-row seatbelt positioning in some of them. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports this campaign covers 1,358 vehicles. However, Honda asserts that only a tiny number of owners actually need to bring their crossover into their dealerships for repair. Honda discovered during quality checks at the factory that the third-row seatbelt could be trapped between the seat and the side of the vehicle. This could pose a safety issue to passengers back there. The affected examples have build dates between May 4, 2015, and June 5, 2015. Because the 2016 Pilots were just launching when this problem was discovered most of them were still at the factory, in transit, or at dealers. According to Honda, only 269 of the affected examples actually made it to owners. The automaker got in contact with these customers to reposition the seatbelt. There are still 20 left that need to be checked, and this issue isn't responsible for any reported crashes or injuries. RECALL Subject : Rear Seatbelt May Be Trapped Report Receipt Date: JUL 06, 2015 NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V424000 Component(s): SEAT BELTS Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,358 All Products Associated with this Recall Vehicle Make Model Model Year(s) HONDA PILOT 2016 Details Manufacturer: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) SUMMARY: Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain model year 2016 Honda Pilot vehicles manufactured May 4, 2015, to June 5, 2015. Due to an assembly issue, the third row seatbelt may be trapped between the rear seat and the rear sideliner. CONSEQUENCE: If the third row seatbelt is trapped, the occupants may not be restrained properly, increasing the risk of injury. REMEDY: Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the rear third row seat belt, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on August 6, 2015. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-310-783-2000. Honda's number for this recall is JS7. NOTES: Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.

Honda updates Takata airbag recall status for some models

Fri, 07 Nov 2014

The net enveloping vehicles in the Takata airbag inflator recall just seems to keep widening. Honda is now updating its previous campaign to revise the status for even more models that were ever registered in (or originally sold in) 13 high-humidity US states and territories.
All of these vehicles were included in the company's earlier repairs. However, at the time this fix was titled "a safety improvement campaign." This latest action upgrades that condition to "a formal recall," according to Honda's official statement. The models include: the 2003-2005 Honda Accord, 2001-2005 Civic (pictured above), 2002-2005 CR-V, 2003-2004 Element, 2002-2004 Odyssey, 2003-2005 Pilot, 2006 Ridgeline, 2003-2005 Acura MDX and the 2005 Acura RL. All of these need to have their passenger-side, front airbag inflator replaced, and the recall affects Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Saipan, Guam and American Samoa.
As with the rest of these affected vehicles, it's possible in a collision for the inflator to rupture spraying metal shrapnel at occupants. There are at least 139 injuries attributed to this problem from a variety of automakers so far. Among this latest population of vehicles, Honda says there have been no confirmed injuries or fatalities related to these exploding inflators.

Honda and Acura add garage door control to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto

Tue, Oct 3 2023

You’ll soon be able to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in your Honda or Acura to open and close your garage door. ItÂ’s a new feature made possible through a partnership with the Chamberlain GroupÂ’s myQ Connected Garage service. Honda says that all of its 2023 and 2024 model year vehicles will be compatible with this new tech, but it also says that “millions of older Honda and Acura models supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto also have compatibility.” ThatÂ’s especially great to hear that the convenience is not just going to be limited to brand-new models. As for how it works, the system is fairly straightforward. You can set a geofence that will automatically prompt you with a system notification when you get within a certain distance of your garage. Follow the onscreen instructions to open, and your garage door will do as you command. The same can be done to close your garage door. For this tech to work, Honda says that youÂ’ll need a compatible garage door opener, but thereÂ’s a good chance you already do because myQ is compatible with most openers on the market today from LiftMaster and other Chamberlain brands. If your opener is already myQ enabled, then you wonÂ’t need to do anything. However, if you have an older style, Honda says you can use a “myQ Smart Garage Control device” to upgrade it into one. Honda is offering everybody one for free if you sign up for its 30-day demo subscription of the service, so donÂ’t worry about having to buy one. However, if you do wish to continue beyond that 30-day free trial, a three-year subscription costs $129, while a five-year subscription will run you $179. The real benefit to this system is that youÂ’ll be able to open and close your garage door from anywhere, not just within the range of where your opener or car-linked button will work. Of course, myQ has a phone app that will do the same, but this allows you to do the task directly through the carÂ’s interface without needing to yank out a phone. Honda says this tech is functional as of today, so go ahead and try it out if you have all the necessary garage door tech in place.
