This is a super clean, non-smoker truck that most importantly has a transferable full warranty; 2yr/30,000 left.  Truck has brand new over-sized tires, less than 1000 on them. Brakes just replaced this past fall. 10K HID headlights with 2 spare bulbs. Very clean interior with no stains. I also had installed upgraded tint to the front windows that matches the rear windows.  Other upgrades are the rear mud-flaps, sun, wind and rain visor, and rear steel tail-light covers.  This is a cool truck that will turn heads and is a true 4X4 and you will get better gas mileage than a V8. As you can see in the photos the truck has a factory brush guard, runner boards (not tubes) which are great for the kids, and a roof rack. I also had a Honda tow package installed, not an aftermarket package a true Honda tow package. One of the most appealing parts of this truck is the full size truck that all Ridgelines have.  It is like having a truck with a cars truck with a car’s trunk.  This is great for storing anything and the best part I've found is it is also a huge cooler for tail-gating events that holds many cases of beverages with a removable plug to drain the water or ice. Don't let anyone tell you that this is not a true 4X4, I've been through mud, snow, and huge deep puddles that other full size trucks were amazed by.  This truck can carry a yard and a half of mulch/dirt by day and clean her up and she's pretty enough to take out for date night. This is my second Ridgeline and the only reason that I'm letting this one go is because I have to tow a 30ft camper and I will need a bigger truck to accomplish this.

As you can see by the pictures this truck is perfectly kept inside and out there are no scratches or dents in this vehicle.  I have had the front grill and the plate Plasti-dipped black.  This is removable rubberized paint that peels off like a sticker and leaves no marks but will hold up for months.  I can bring it to the original gray or give it a fresh black coat.

*** PLEASE NOTE-  THESE PICS ARE TAKEN AFTER A MAJOR SNOW STORM AND WILL LOOK BETTER INSIDE AND OUT AS SOON AS ALL OF THIS SNOW MELTS.  IF YOU LOOK AT THE SIDE OF THE TRUCK AND SEE WHITE LINES THEY ARE THE LINES ON THE PARKING LOT NOT ON THE TRUCK..  THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO MARKS ON THIS TRUCK.  THANK YOU AND THOSE WHO TAKE THE TIME TO SEE THIS TRUCK WILL SURELY APPRECIATE IT.

Honda reveals updated rest-of-world Civic hatchback

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

The rest of the world's most recent Honda Civic was introduced for 2012, and it looks much the same as the 2014 model Honda will release in January to European and Asian markets. In fact, not much has changed, but a retuned power steering system, revised front and rear damping rates and rear wheel toe and camber adjustments are touted to make the hatchback drive better, World Car Fans reports.
There are some small visual changes, such as privacy glass for the lower rear window, a piano-black front bumper that previously was dark gray and piano-black trim replacing body-color pieces around the license plate area, tailgate and lower bumper. Inside, white stitching adorns the seats, steering wheel and knee pad along with aluminum and gloss-black accents placed around the center console area.
Of course, Honda won't be exporting this particular Civic to the US (or the recently unveiled Civic Tourer), so check out the photo gallery to see it in all its not-for-you glory.

Asian automakers still reluctant to use more aluminum

Tue, Jun 24 2014

There's a logical progression of technology in the auto industry. We've seen it with things like carbon-ceramic brakes, which use to be the sole domain of six-figure sports cars, where they often cost as much as an entry level Toyota Corolla. Now, you can get them on a BMW M3 (they're still pricey, at $8,150). Who knows, maybe in the next four a five years, they'll be available on something like a muscle car or hot hatchback. Aluminum has had a similar progression, although it's further along, moving from the realm of Audi and Jaguar luxury sedans to Ford's most important product, the F-150. With the stuff set to arrive in such a big way on the market, we should logically expect an all-aluminum Toyota Camry or Honda Accord soon, right? Um, wrong. Reuters has a great report on what's keeping Asian manufacturers away from aluminum, and it demonstrates yet another stark philosophical difference between automakers in the east and those in the west. Of course, there's a pricing argument at play. But it's more than just the cost of aluminum sheet (shown above) versus steel. Manufacturing an aluminum car requires extensive retooling of existing factories, not to mention new relationships with suppliers and other logistical and financial nightmares. Factor that in with what Reuters calls Asian automaker's preference towards "evolutionary upgrades," and the case for an all-aluminum Accord is a difficult one. Instead, manufacturers in the east are focusing on developing even stronger steel as a means of trimming fat, although analysts question how long that practice can continue. Jeff Wang, the automotive sales director for aluminum supplier Novelis, predicts that we'll see a bump in aluminum usage from Japanese and Korean brands in the next two to three years, and that it will be driven by an influx of aluminum-based vehicles from western automakers into China. Only time will tell if he's proven right. News Source: ReutersImage Credit: Sean Gallup / Getty Images Plants/Manufacturing Honda Hyundai Mazda Nissan Toyota Technology aluminum

Honda to recall 1.1 million U.S. vehicles to re-replace Takata airbags

Tue, Mar 12 2019

Honda said on Tuesday it would recall about 1.1 million Honda and Acura vehicles in the United States to re-replace defective Takata airbags on the driver's side. The company said it was aware of one injury linked to the defect that may have caused the airbag to rupture when it was deployed in a crash. The vehicles involved in the recall were previously repaired using specific Takata desiccated replacement inflators (PSDI-5D) or entire replacement airbag modules containing these inflators. "Those replacement inflators," Honda said in a statement, "are now deemed defective." Free repairs of the recalled cars would begin immediately in the United States with replacement parts made by alternate suppliers, Honda said. Honda became aware of the issue after a Honda Odyssey crash, where the front airbag deployed and injured the driver's arm. An investigation later showed that manufacturing issues at Takata's Mexico facility introduced excessive moisture into the inflator during assembly, leading to the problem. The total number of recalled inflators is now about 21 million in about 12.9 million Honda and Acura vehicles that have been subject to recall for replacing Takata front airbag inflators in the United States, the company said. Automakers in the United States repaired more than 7.2 million defective Takata air bag inflators in 2018, as companies have ramped up efforts to track down parts in need of replacement.
