Beautiful 41,239 Mile 1989 Honda Prelude 2.0 Si Near Perfect Condition One Owner on 2040-cars

I am listing this for a friend who is technically the second owner, he bought it a month or so ago for his daughter who is away at college but she soon found another car she wanted more than this one. They have only put about 1,000 miles on it since purchasing it from the original owner. NEW in the last month. Tires Brake pads all the way around Battery Kenwood cd/radio with usb port. This car is loaded with options including Power steering Power brakes Power windows Power sunroof Power mirrors Power antenna Ice cold air conditioning Tilt column Rear window defrost Also comes with the original keys and a valet key that I guess will not open the trunk. You would have a hard time finding one of these in nicer condition than this, it is in remarkable shape for being 25 years old, the only issues I found on the car (see pictures) were some scratches on the rear bumper cover and some rust bubbles forming around one of the plugs where it was undercoated. you can see in the pictures of the underside that it was professionally undercoated by Ziebart and the receipts show that it was taken back to get checked and touched up there several times during the time she owned it. This car has many many more years / miles left in it and would be a great graduation gift for that son or daughter who will be going off to college this fall. |

Honda Civic Type R caught naked and frisky
Tue, 13 May 2014Honda's upcoming Civic Type R is one of our most anticipated models of the next year - and we probably won't even get it in North America. And yet, each time we see it, the five-door just seems so menacing and purposeful. An all-but-undisguised version has just been spotted by our photographers testing on the back roads in Germany. If this signals what to expect, then the project appears to be coming along nicely.
Compared to the concept shown at the Geneva Motor Show, this prototype looks even meaner. Check out those big, blistered front fender extensions, taller wing, deeply sculpted front air dam and 10-spoke gold wheels. The Type R certainly certainly isn't hiding its performance intentions, and it has no reason to. Under the hood, we know it packs Honda's new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder pumping out 276 horsepower, which is likely connected to a six-speed manual.
Now, if only Honda could find some way to get this machine across The Pond and into the our hot little hands. There has already been an online petition begging the Japanese automaker to find a way, and after recently enjoying an all-too-brief prototype drive, we're ready to sign up.
Honda promises all-new Ridgeline within two years
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Despite an aging design and low sales, Honda has remained committed to its Ridgeline pickup truck. Now, in its first official confirmation of a next-gen Ridgeline, Honda has released a teaser sketch (click to enlarge) of the new truck and promised a debut within two years, as previously reported.
The sketch shows the direction that Honda is planning for its new truck, which appears to ditch the single-piece body in favor of a more conventional pickup truck design. Even with the new design, it's not clear if Honda will move away from the Ridgeline's car-based platform shared with the Odyssey, Pilot and Accord. Sales of the Ridgeline dipped to below 10,000 units in 2011 but have increased steadily over the last two years (including 29 percent so far in 2013) with slightly more than 16,000 units on the year.
As for the current Ridgeline, Honda will wind down production at the Lincoln, AL assembly plant sometime during the middle of next year. The press release for the announcement is posted below.
