  1992 Honda Prelude Si. with H22 Swap and extra JDM H23A engine   (200k on body 100k on trans 70k/60k on engines)

 Brief Summery;

            92 prelude Si..H22 Swapped..EL Gauge Swap..SE Tan Leather Seats..Cat-Back Exhaust..Aftermarket Front Suspension..17 inch Konig Rims..Buddy Club Lip..EXTRA JDM H23A ENGINE.

 

 Body Has Approx 215xxx miles.

     Body Condition: The previous owner spray painted the car gold. they also spray painted the rims black, the stock Intake Manifold Silver. Previous owner fixed rust with bondo. Ive seen a few better and ive seen worse. this is at the top of the list. Rub damage on rear passenger side from someones front tire. light scrape, mainly rubber, easily buffed out. No trunk Carpet. Custom made to fit 12in Sub box in trunk. Roof and windshield trim included but not installed.  Previous owner did not know you have to remove front bumper/bump support to remove/replace headlights. they used a tool to bend the rad support above passenger side headlight up. they used a hammer to bang it back into place as best as they could. they must have researched it and found how to properly do it for the driver side. only damage is to passenger side. 2.5 inch stainless steel cat back exhaust with N1 Style muffler. Smoked Stock Tail Lights. Previous owner replaced front suspension with aftermarket components: Front Upper Strut Bar, Front Shocks, springs, end links, and bushings. Aproxx 10,xxx miles on aftermarket front suspension.This Car Is Over 21 Years old. don't expect perfection. Still a great looking Prelude.

 

H22a1 Has Approx 70,xxx miles

    Engine Condition:   The engine is a complete USDM H22A1 motor. THIS ENGINE DOES NOT RUN! Unfortunately it has low numbers on compression test.  ENGINE WILL NEED REPAIR! SOLD AS IS! Engine sold with Modified Stock Intake Manifold, Stock Header, DC Intake. No Power Steering. No Air Conditioning.  Perfect candidate for good build!

 Transmission has Approx 100,xxx miles

   Transmission Condition:  The Trans is in good condition. Previous owner replaced shortly after doing engine swap.  Also has aftermarket clutch kit (red) with approx. 5,xxx miles. No Pop outs, No Grinds.

The Trans is NOT JDM LSD. it is an Si trans, comes on USDM H23A1 engine.

 

Extra JDM H23A Engine has approx. 60,xxx miles.

 Engine Condition:   The engine is a complete JDM H23A DOHC VTEC motor. THIS ENGINE DOES NOT RUN! Former Honda CEOs chide current boss about quality

Taking charge of a major corporation will never be without its challenges, and one of those - as Honda CEO Takanobu Ito is finding out - is filling the big shoes of those that came before. Ito's predecessors are apparently not pleased with what he's doing to the company, and are wasting no time in telling him so.
According to Reuters, two former Honda chiefs have recently visited Ito (pictured above with his predecessor Takeo Fukui) to talk to him about the Japanese automaker's quality issues, which they apparently regard as eroding the company's image. Nobuhiko Kawamoto, who served as CEO from 1990-98, reportedly came to Honda headquarters in Tokyo to deliver "stern words" to Ito last month. Kawamoto's immediate successor, Hiroyuki Yoshino, reportedly met with Ito under similar circumstances earlier this year.
Kawamoto and Yoshino are part of a larger group of former Honda executives who are concerned with the declining quality of the company's products under Ito's leadership. Where Honda once focused more on quality, collaborating more closely with parts suppliers,more recently the company has, in the eyes of those former executives at least, shifted its focus to quantity and to new technologies. That's what, the report alleges, has led to Honda recalling so many of its vehicles in recent years.

Honda Concept B Hybrid production version coming to China in 2016

At the Beijing Motor Show this weekend, Honda took the wraps off of the Concept B Hybrid, a "new-value concept" that will apparently do its level best to get the Japanese automaker back into the entry-level gas-electric game. Powertrain details for the five-door concept hatch are noticeably absent, so we are assuming that what Honda wants with this concept is for us to focus on the looks. Honda says the car's exterior design is "advanced and cool-looking." We like the shape, but think a few changes will do wonders for the production model.
If the busy front end gets turned down a bit in production (it's especially glaring from the front), we can see this becoming a darn good replacement for the Insight at the lower end of the hybrid price spectrum. Sadly, for now, Honda is saying that the mass-production model that uses the Concept B as a foundation will be available "exclusively" on the Chinese market in two years.
Speaking at the Beijing show, Honda president and CEO Takanobu Ito continued to look for ways to green his company's line-up, and said Honda, "will strive to become number one in complying with Chinese CAFE regulations, which are the toughest in the world, and offer a new lifestyle for Chinese customers." Come 2016, that new lifestyle could look like the car you see in the gallery above. Think it's a good one?

2024 Honda Prologue name announced, and an Acura EV follows

Honda is revealing a couple of little nuggets of information about its future EVs today, shedding more light on the partnership between it and GM on electric vehicle technology. The big news is that Honda’s first new EV made in this partnership will be called Prologue, and it will be an SUV produced for the 2024 model year. HondaÂ’s “Prologue” logo is revealed with this news, and a few additional details about the car itself are, too. On the obvious front, Honda says the Prologue will ride on GMÂ’s global EV platform and use GMÂ’s Ultium battery technology. The company is also promising “versatility and driving range on par with our current lineup of rugged SUVs.” “Our first volume Honda BEV will begin our transition to electrification, and the name Honda Prologue signals the role it will play in leading to our zero-emission future,” says Dave Gardner, executive VP of American Honda. “The Prologue will provide our customers with a battery-electric SUV with the excellent functionality and packaging theyÂ’ve come to expect from Honda.” ItÂ’s not just Honda that will join in on the fun, though. An electric Acura SUV was also announced today. Just like the Honda, it will use GMÂ’s electric vehicle platform. A model year for the Acura wasn't promised, but Honda claimed it would be revealed “in the 2024 calendar year.” Any details beyond what you see here are being kept under wraps by Honda. WeÂ’re told to expect more “specific details” to be released over the coming months. Basically, expect a slow drip of information about the Prologue leading up to a full reveal where Honda finally shares all there is to know about the SUV. Looking even further into the future, Honda promises EVs based on an in-house-developed EV platform sometime in the second half of this decade. For now, itÂ’s calling this future platform “e:Architecture.” Ultimately, Honda promises that 100% of its auto sales in North America will be fully electric by 2040. The 2024 Prologue is the brandÂ’s first step toward this ambitious goal. Related video:
