This Odyssey was originally purchased to replace a newer Odyssey we've have that we have a loan on and have been trying to sell. We were unsuccessful in selling our newer van so we unfortunately have to sell this one to make the payments on the newer one and out of financial necessity.
We had this Odyssey EX checked out before we purchased it. The mechanic said it was well maintained and it needed a few minor repairs which cost us about 700 dollars through Honda Dealer and a local mechanic. We had left front cv axel replaced. We also had two of the transmission mounts and transmission fluid replaced at the Honda dealer. It also has brand new tires. The former owner told us the timing belt was changed at about 100k miles. So it should be good for another 50k miles at least. A little wear and tear and bleach marks from the previous owner on the carpet in the hatch, there is also a dent on the passenger side right behind the sliding door & some scratch marks there probably from a small fender bender or parking miscalculation, some tears in the leather of the driver seat but not too terrible. - it is an older vehicle so it is not spotless but certainly in great running condition which is most important & why we purchased it originally to replace the newer van we have.. Comes with keyless remote. If not using remote, the front driver's side door - key entrance doesn't work but works on hatch and passenger sides. It's a nuisance only if you prefer not to use keyless remote. We hate to sell it since it is in good running condition & we do not owe anything on it, but don't have much of a choice at this point. Who ever buys it will be getting a good vehicle. We have the title on hand & it is ready to go. Buyer must pick up vehicle in person; We reserve the right to cancel any bids as we have been burned on more than once by highest bidders who won and then never paid and never responded to us on other vehicle we were selling. One bidder had only one item they purchased and never contacted us. So please only bid if you are truly interested in getting this vehicle. If you have a question about something like our reserved price, feel free to contact us privately rather than bidding on the van until it hits the reserve price and then bailing out. Use common sense and courtesy.. We've sold an RV and two other vehicles with 100 percent feedback. We take pride in our sales and are here to sell you a great reliable Honda (a very reputable car company) in good condition at a reasonable price... which we believe will be a blessing to you. |

Mazda6, Honda CR-V and an Autoblogger's BMW Z3 | Autoblog Podcast #620
Fri, Mar 27 2020In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by West Coast Editor James Riswick and Road Test Editor Zac Palmer. First, they talk about the cars that have been in their driveways, like the Mazda6, Lexus UX 250h and Honda CR-V, as well as Riswick's own BMW Z3 (where he actually recorded the podcast from). Then they discuss the news, which includes car dealers moving to digital commerce and other updates about — you guessed it — coronavirus, and how it's affecting the automotive industry. Finally, they take to Twitter to help a follower choose a weekend convertible for long, isolated drives in this week's "Spend My Money" segment. Honda Recalling 900,000 Odyssey Minivans
Mon, Mar 17 2014DETROIT (AP) - Honda Motor Co. is recalling 886,815 Odyssey minivans in the U.S. because a fuel pump cover can deteriorate and cause a fuel leak. Odysseys from 2005 through 2010 model years are involved. The recalled minivans were made between June 23, 2004, and September 4, 2010. According to documents posted Saturday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the cover on the fuel pump strainer can wear down from exposure to high temperatures and acidic chemicals, like those found in fertilizers. Fuel leaks can cause a vehicle fire. Honda says no fires or injuries have been reported. Honda dealers will repair the vehicles for free, but the company says replacement parts may not be available until this summer. It will notify owners of the recall next month. Question of the Day: Ever consider driving a minivan?
Thu, May 12 2016Since I'm supposed to know something about cars, it happens all the time: friends and relatives ask me advice about what kind of vehicle they should get. Very often, the only type of vehicle that can check every item on their wish list (e.g., hauls lots of people and stuff, gets good fuel economy, has great crash-test ratings, can take four Great Danes camping, and so on) is a modern minivan... and, of course, nobody wants to hear this. I'm not a minivan person, they will wail, and so they end up with a cramped, fuel-swilling SUV or a not-so-space-efficient minivan-in-disguise CUV. So, is it worth becoming one of those minivan people in order to get the incredible usefulness of these masterpieces of vehicle engineering, or do you hold your head high and drive something that doesn't quite meet your needs?
