• The rear of car is gutted/ I have all the pieces not in the best shape, some of the hard plastic cracked getting it out. Plus with the battery and nitrous bottle don’t think it will fit right any ways
CRX Need 2 Know
• This car is very modified and is not a Dailey driver
• All the modifications on the motor list are brand new
• Due to the big cams and high compression pistons, it does not cold start well. You have to rev is to 2 grand for 45 sec, and then you have to blip the throttle when the cams or lobbing or it will die. Once it gets to running temperature it will idle at 1000 rpms and the cams stop lobbing, and it won’t die.
• In the winter time you need to disconnect one of the fans because it runs too cold and the vtec won’t engage, it’s also bad to run in cold weather. I would recommend getting a toggle switch for both fans.
• This car was tuned on 93 octane. You can get away with 91 but I wouldn't recommend it.
• The exhaust is very, very loud.
• This car will not pass an emissions test, know your state laws before you bid. I got it licensed in Missouri where cars 95 and older don’t need an emissions test

Cigarette lighter is hard wired to fuse box for radar detector (can easily be pulled out) Since car has been sitting it needs a jump even though battery is newer and not used. (prob because of cigarette lighter) I have been very honest and I recommend seeing the car in person. This would be a great car and a steal to the right person and a nightmare to others. If you have cash in hand you can drive it but all risk is on you. It's unregistered and uninsured. It's loud and you will be pulled over, the wildwood cops hate me and pull that car over if im going the speed limit. So I would be cautious driving it home until you leave wildwood. It also needs an oil change before you rip through the gears no miles on the oil but its 7-8 months old. If your serious about buying I may change the oil so you can drive it home but I really dont want to spend any more money on it.

I am very aware of scams I will not pay w3st3rn uni0n for delivery charges and if you use cashiers check or money order it will be confirmed by bank before title is signed over and car is released.
Please do not email about faded paint and how cool your body kit is on your crx I dont care. I built this car with the sleeper look in mind and remember brakes, suspension, and paint is pennies compared to the price of a built motor and a proper obd1 hondatas300 ecu wired correctly.

Honda may recall up to 1M vehicles for airbag issue, following Toyota's lead

Mon, 16 Jun 2014

It seems Toyota won't be the only one recalling the faulty Takata airbag inflators for long. Honda insiders in Japan claim that the company is getting close to announcing its own worldwide campaign that would begin before the end of June.
Unnamed sources close to Honda in Japan tell Automotive News that the company is pursuing an internal investigation into possibly affected models and is working with Takata to gather more information. They claim that it could involve even more than the 1.14 million cars worldwide that the automaker covered under the first recall for the problem in April 2013, including 561,000 vehicles in the US.
Toyota jumpstarted this process last week when it recalled over 2 million cars worldwide, including 844,277 in the US. Soon after, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began a preliminary evaluation into the issue following six reported incidents, and started assembling data about potentially affected models from Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Chrysler. NHTSA also began investigating Takata itself.

Weekly Recap: Hyundai spins off Genesis as new luxury division

Sat, Nov 7 2015

Hyundai is creating a standalone luxury division that will use the Genesis name in an ambitious move that could bring the Korean automaker more profits, sales, and prestige. The Genesis division launches in December in Korea, followed by a rollout in other markets, including the United States in 2016. The brand will have six models by 2020. They will all start with a "G" for Genesis, then have a number, like 70, 80, or 90 to represent their segment, Hyundai said. The vehicles will also get more upscale design to differentiate them from other Hyundais. Luc Donckerwolke, a veteran Volkswagen Group designer who joined Hyundai earlier this year, will oversee a new Prestige Design unit at the company. The current winged Genesis emblem will be restyled and worn by all of the brand's luxury vehicles. Hyundai says its new division will focus on technology, customer service, and will have "refined performance character." The current Genesis sedan offers a 5.0-liter V8 that makes 420 horsepower. Naturally, Hyundai is optimistic for its new Genesis brand, but it will face immediate challenges as it enters a crowded and competitive market with a long list of entrenched competitors. Brands with storied histories like Cadillac and Lincoln have struggled recently, and even top-selling brands Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Lexus aren't immune to potential troubles. Rumors have persisted that Hyundai harbored luxury ambitions since it first launched the Genesis sedan in 2008. OTHER NEWS & NOTES SEMA shows aftermarket's strength Further evidence of the auto industry's momentum was on display at the SEMA show this week as carmakers and tuners again turned out in full force. The Ford Cobra Jet Mustang, a Chevy Silverado customized by Kid Rock, and a Kia Forte Koup Mud Bogger were among the prominent displays. The show attracts more than 140,000 people per year, including 2,400 exhibitors, who come to buy and sell products. SEMA is a barometer for customization trends in the aftermarket, a key reason automakers attend. "They represent things we are thinking about and want to get some exposure," Mopar boss Pietro Gorlier said. Honda previews next-gen Ridgeline In other SEMA news, Honda previewed the next generation of its Ridgeline pickup at the show with a race-prepped vehicle that will compete in the Score Baja 1000 this year. The hood, side profile, roof, and front fascia offer hints of what the new truck will look like in production trim. Art St.

2016 Honda HR-V scores class-leading 35 mpg

Mon, Jan 19 2015

Smaller cars generally net better fuel economy ratings, and while crossovers aren't generally as efficient as hatchbacks and small sedans, smaller crossovers are getting better EPA ratings all the time. The latest to join the pack is the new 2016 Honda HR-V. The US Environmental Protection Agency has just released its ratings for the littlest Honda crossover, and the figures are pretty impressive. In front-wheel-drive form with the optional continuously variable transmission, the HR-V is rated at 28 miles per gallon in the city, 35 on the highway and 31 combined. Those figures make it the most economical conventionally powered SUV on the market. (The EPA doesn't distinguish between truck-based sport-utes and car-based crossovers) Among crossovers, the FWD HR-V outperforms the Nissan Juke, Kia Soul, Chevrolet Trax, Buick Encore... the whole lot. Only the Mazda CX-5 matches it on the highway rating, which is noteworthy since it's a much bigger vehicle. Along with the forthcoming Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade, Mazda's nearly here CX-3 hasn't been rated yet (we predict it will score better than the HR-V, if only to improve on the fuel economy ratings of its larger CX-5 counterpart). Of course, there are hybrids that get better ratings than the Honda, but comparing a hybrid to a conventional vehicle is like comparing apples to electrically charged oranges. Naturally, the picture changes a bit if you go for all-wheel drive or the available six-speed manual. In AWD spec (only available with the CVT), the HR-V gets 27 city, 32 highway and 29 combined. The front-driver with the six-speed suffers a worse fate at 25 city, 34 highway and 28 combined. No matter which way you slice it, of course, the Fit hatchback upon which the HR-V is based, with its CVT hooked up to a smaller engine and with less weight to motivate, still sips fuel more lightly than the HR-V. But as far as crossovers go, Honda's new HR-V is looking pretty frugal. Featured Gallery 2016 Honda HR-V View 25 Photos News Source: EPAImage Credit: Honda Green Honda Crossover honda hr-v
