This is an orig CRX si with orig paint/body and no modifications or upgrades usually found on these cars. Quick history is that it was originally purchased new in 1989 and sold to a family friend in 1991 and has remained with her till now being offered for sale . Never wrecked or abused and dealer maintained and serviced including oil changes . It does not have a/c , it does have a power sunroof that works properly as does everything in the car ( no shock there it is a Honda ) . Car has all orig paint with the possible exception of the rear bumper or it has faded and does have a small crack just left of the rear center in the black area hard to see but it is there . paint is exceptionally nice and orig and looks remarkable for an almost 25 yr old car . Interior is also exceptionally clean with no excessive wear or dash cracks . All the tires , brakes , clutch etc are all up to date and should provide a great driving experience for the drive home , as well as getting almost 50mpg ! These cars do not come up often in the original condition , usually with 200-300k miles ( very common and they all go well past that mileage ) with a carbon fiber hood or wing and about 3 different body panels from various years and with all the usual wheels , drop spindles etc. this is NOT one of those cars , if you have been looking for a real nice car this is it . I can be reached @ 516-467-6890 for info , NO ZERO ( 0 ) feedback bidders or out of Country buyers . I will not reveal the reserve but it is well under 10k which these cars have been known to sell for well above that and this one very well might but I am no going to disclose that , however with that being said I will listen to offers .

2014 Honda HPD CR-Z
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Honda invited us to its Southern California North American headquarters last week to take a spin in a very special CR-Z - one modified with a full complement of Honda Performance Development (HPD) components. While the company has been racing with HPD parts for years, this is the first time the automaker has offered them for its street-legal vehicles, and it has chosen this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas to be the launch venue. Last year, Honda introduced the HPD Supercharged CR-Z Concept at SEMA - this is the slightly modified production version.
The complete transformation gives the normally placid hybrid hatchback a serious shot of adrenaline thanks to a bolt-on supercharger combined with suspension, tire, brake and exhaust upgrades. In addition to the blower (detailed in a bullet point below), new HPD suspension components lower the car by about half an inch, and firmer spring rates stiffen the ride. Stock 16- or 17-inch wheels are then replaced with HPD 18-inch alloys wrapped in sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (215/40ZR18 at all corners). The clutch is upgraded, a limited-slip differential is installed and new HPD monobloc four-piston calipers are fitted over slotted and ventilated iron rotors up front (the single-pistons over solid discs on the back axle are unchanged). In the rear, the stock hidden single exhaust pipe is replaced by a free-flow twin-tip exhaust that peers out of a new HPD lower diffuser. Other cosmetic enhancements include an HPD front lip spoiler, rear deck lid spoiler and an HPD emblem kit for each side. To say the CR-Z is transformed by the complete HPD package is an understatement.

Fred Savage wants to narrate your home videos to practice for Honda gig
Mon, 27 Oct 2014Honda is getting ready to launch a new advertising campaign with Fred Savage of The Wonder Years (and The Princess Bride) fame, and in order to get his voice in game shape, Savage is taking to social media to get prepared. More specifically, he's apparently interested in adding some voiceover to fun videos provided by fans of the Honda brand, and all you have to do to be considered is to get his attention on Twitter using the hashtag #HondaPromo.
We have no idea how Savage or the Honda PR team plans to choose which videos will be turned into narrated works of art, but we do think it's a pretty fun idea. So, if you happen to have a video that could use some narration, and you think Savage would provide the perfect pitch, hit him up. Oh, be sure to read the terms and conditions first.
