Email me with any and all questions. Or come test drive it!
I had picked this car up from a previous member, oilspot (on hondacivicwagon), and have spend the last 14 months getting it back in order and back up to speed. Ive installed a bunch of new parts and have redone some things that needed addressing. I had big plans of keeping this car and making it my daily, but we all know how things change - life happens. The car is solid. Has minimal rust (only a small spot on the driver rear 1/4, near the rocker panels. small and not a worry. I injected some rust reformer in there and seems to have worked)….has a good build on it, and runs/drives great. Does need new piston rings, but i had planned a built bottom end would be a good idea anyways….it drives around just fine, and power is good. I only use it to commute 20 miles a day and works great for that…has been for 6 months now! Car has full and working AC! New condenser unit and blows cold.

S2000 cd player and Pioneer 6.5” front speakers
both front window regulators replaced with OEM Honda ones before they became discontinued
I have a panel of wood i glued up (using home flooring) that will also be included for rear cargo area. If i get time, ill install myself. It's already cut, just needs to be screwed down...
Exterior

Engine/Drivetrain
D16Z6 head and A6 bottom end. The head was rebuilt with all new OEM Honda parts by the previous owner 5K miles ago, and mated to a tired A6 bottom end. (i dont know why the f he didnt pull the bottom end and rebuild it, too.) anyways, he had the liberty of using ARP head studs atleast and a new timing belt/pump/tensioner and headgasket. The valve cover is paint matched to the exterior. The engine does smoke, and does burn oil, but it runs just fine with plenty of power. I just top it off every week...Im still getting 28-33MPG right now. I dont commute too far (25mi each way), and it hasnt been an issue to me.
Poly Filled engine mounts
AEM Cam gear
Lower mileage injectors and OEM Honda rings

wrinkle red rear diff plates
Honda OEM rear diff fluid
Honda OEM MTF trans fluid
BLOX magnetic drain bolts
Viscious Coupler has been refilled with new fluid
All CV axles in good shape, no torn boots or anything. front two axles were recently replaced with Napa units. No noises
BADZ:
-Id replace the bottom end or just swap it out for a ZC (cheapest, easiest solution) as it smokes, and needs a new clutch/flywheel pretty soon - the shift and clutch cable are maxed out, and if youre not careful, 2nd gear grinds.
-Front sway bar not installed (i have two that come with, just hadn't had the time to do it)
-One of the plastics in the rear cargo has a piece cracked out of it. no idea how. and not too noticable.
-two tiny holes in driver carpet area, like half the size of a dime. i can get pics if need be.
-dent in side door sil on drivers side
-no shift boot or knob (trying to find em!)
-needs lower portion of center console (im keeping the EDM one that was in there)
-needs headlights. I cant sell with my glass EDM ones, sorry. USDM ones are cheap enough tho. If i find a set, ill install them.
-had a midwing on it, and now on my black car. I can include the midwing for $100 extra. Otherwise, has 4 small holes, easily covered by OEM Honda grommets as seen at U-Pull - ive replaced 2.
-a couple small paint chips and small dents. for its age, its in great shape
ExtraZ!:
See pics, everything outside the car is included (minus the toolbox!) Tons of parts in there. This includes literally all that i have left for wagons. Ive included it all. A refinished dash, extra refinished rocker boards, Bose woofer n amp, floor mats, mint interior harness, etc... just look at the pics. Tons of grey interior parts..

Nine cars we wish were convertibles
Thu, Apr 16 2015The snow has melted, the sun is shining, and the days are getting longer. At the Autoblog Detroit office we feel like our winter hibernation is finally over. And with warmer temperatures come visions of opening up a convertible roof and cruising. You know, just turn up the bass and let the Alpine blast. There are plenty of droptops on sale in the US, and more on the way (like the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata). That said, we always want more. More! More! More! In that spirit, we cooked up a list of nine cars aren't currently sold as convertible, but ought to be. Check out our picks, below. Summer's just around the corner. Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S In some parallel universe, this car actually happened. Toyota showed us a FT 86 Convertible concept at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013, and we immediately started licking our chops over the thought of a rear-wheel-drive convertible based on the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S twins. These days, the MX-5 Miata is our only option for affordable roadster fun. A competitor to the Mazda seems like a no-brainer to us, especially since we have naught but good to say about the BRZ/FR-S as-is. Unfortunately in our present timeline, this car is as likely for production as a BRZ STI. Which is to say, not very. Dang. Lexus RC F Unlike the FR-S, a convertible from Toyota's luxury division might actually see the light of day. The current IS convertible is about to be phased out, and the Lexus LF-C2 concept from the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show is really a thinly veiled look at a possible RC convertible. A droptop RC would be plenty good, but let's reach for the starts. What we really want is to run topless in an RC F, complete with that powerful, loud, 5.0-liter V8 engine. Lexus says the RC F is a true competitor to the BMW M4. If that's true, it only makes sense for Lexus to mimic the Germans and offer its performance coupe in a folding hardtop form. Maybach Landaulet Maybach is bach back, recast as an upper crust trim level for Mercedes-Benz. The Mercedes-Maybach S600 is seriously awesome, and more luxurious than a trip to the spa. But why not go a step into the truly ridiculous levels of extravagence and bring back that open-top Landaulet? We think your local princess will love this idea, and with better S-Class bones underneath, Jeeves will have a pretty enjoyable ship to steer, too. Besides, with that slick new Mercedes design language, a Landaulet redux wouldn't be nearly as hideous as the old model, pictured here.
Japan carmakers vouch for safety of some Kobe Steel parts
Thu, Oct 19 2017TOKYO — Four Japanese automakers on Thursday said they found no safety issues with aluminum parts supplied by Kobe Steel Ltd, allaying some concerns that falsified quality data on products from the steelmaker had compromised their vehicles. Kobe Steel shares surged after the car makers' statements, but the steelmaker still has to contend with a U.S. Justice Department probe, while checks continue at hundreds of companies involved in complex supply chains spanning the globe. Japan's third-biggest steelmaker admitted earlier this month it falsified specifications on the strength and durability of aluminum, copper and steel products, along with materials for optical disks. The falsifications stretch back for more than 10 years, a senior executive told Reuters this week. Since then, global automakers, aircraft companies and other manufacturers have scrambled to identify potential hazards in their products. Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mazda said that hoods and other exterior parts used in their cars which were made from aluminum directly supplied by Kobe Steel were safe. Kobe Steel shares ended the day nearly 7 percent higher but are still down by more than a third since it announced the data falsification. Automakers are still making checks on other parts, including those that they received through their parts suppliers. "We confirmed that the materials satisfy applicable statutory standards, and our own internal standard, for key safety and durability requirements for vehicles," Toyota said in a statement. Toyota, one of the world's largest automakers, identified aluminum plates supplied by Kobe Steel for the hoods and rear hatches of Toyota and Lexus brand vehicles. Though outside the automaker's specifications, they were still safe to use. While Subaru and other carmakers said they were still investigating the issue, the announcements by Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mazda suggest that Kobe Steel's cheating scandal may have a limited impact on product safety."SERIOUS SITUATION" Nonetheless, the company's fate hangs in the balance while checks are being carried out. It must report to Japan's industry ministry by around the end of next week on any safety concerns and provide a more extensive account of the problems a fortnight later. Industry leaders have reached a consensus that Kobe Steel is in a "serious situation," a senior Japanese manufacturing executive told Reuters.
Petrolicious profiles the Triple Nickel, a 1968 Honda CB160
Thu, Jun 25 2015Petrolicious often puts as much of a focus on the owners as it does on their machines in its videos, but the latest one goes even further as a short documentary that tells the story of a woman getting back into vintage motorcycle racing after an accident. Stacie B. London bought her first bike in 2009, but she jumped into the hobby with both feet. Not too long after getting her cycle, she started competing on two wheels. Fantastic cinematography is always one of the great strengths of Petrolicious' clips, but it absolutely nails the audio here, too. If you enjoy the sound of vintage bikes revving for all they can, then this is a must see. Of course, the story of someone getting into vintage motorcycle racing is also fascinating. London's 1968 Honda CB160 wears the 555 number when on the circuit, hence the nickname Triple Nickel. Not only do we get to see her open up the bike up on the salt flats, but we get to watch part of her first competition on track after recovering from a serious crash. For a relative newcomer not only just to riding a motorcycle but also racing one, London already seems to be hooked.
