I have for sale a very nice Honda Civic sedan EX automatic. It is fully
loaded, power everything, mp3, sunroof, great looking rims and good
tires. It has only 31k miles on it and is immaculately clean inside and
out. 1 owner car, clean carfax no accident history.
This car did have some hail damage but it was fully repaired. The title says hail damage so if you are the type that is picky, or too good to drive a PREVIOUS hail damaged car, do not bid. Hail damage does nothing to affect the performance of the car, all parts on the car are original except the front bumper cover, it had a hole in it from the hail, so it was replaced with a factory Honda bumper. Has very minor scratches on plastic above steering wheel, small tear, 1/4 inch, on dash above speedometer. Part above steering wheel is $58, pad above speedometer is $185. Cosmetic defect so I didn't replace the parts myself because it's not really worth it. If you do your research, these sell for about $17,000 to $18,000 at dealers. You will be saving thousands on an extremely nice car that has no issues whatsoever. Whoever wins this auction will be getting a very nice car that people will just be missing out on because of their own ignorance. Somebody out there can appreciate the cleanliness and value of this vehicle. The factory powertrain warranty is still in effect, 5 year 60,000 miles, so that is a bonus. This car has been professionally detailed and is ready to drive home anywhere. Gets about 38mpg. New battery and new factory floor mats. Shipping is your responsibilty. If you fly in, I can pick you up. Cash in person only, no cashiers check, no money orders. Sorry, but those are being counterfeited quite frequently. We can meet at a bank for safety. If you can't be here in person, a bank transfer will do. NO PAYPAL Please call for more info, pictures, or any questions, I will be glad to answer them, thank you. When I say call, that means NO TEXTS! This is a google voice number and texts are disabled on my phone so I won't get them. 615-547-8881 |

Honda revamps F1 engine for McLaren
Thu, Aug 6 2015Things haven't been going smoothly for Honda since returning to Formula One, and the Japanese automaker says the challenge has been greater than it anticipated. But after a stronger showing at the recent Hungarian Grand Prix, Honda says its reliability issues are behind it and is working on introducing a revamped engine for the second half of the season. "I am confident our reliability problems are now behind us, which means we can turn our attention to increasing power," Honda racing chief Yasuhisa Arai told Autosport. "After the summer shutdown our plan is to apply a new-spec engine using some of our remaining seven tokens." The "tokens" to which Arai refers are a way for the FIA to limit engine development. The power units are broken down into 66 such tokens in the regulations, and each engine supplier can change up to 32 of them throughout the season. The allowance was at first afforded only to returning suppliers Mercedes, Ferrari, and Renault, but Honda succeeded in convincing the FIA to allow it the same leeway. Honda has been spending its development tokens on fixing reliability issues, but will shift its focus to improving performance. The McLaren team that Honda powers has only gotten both of its cars to the finish line at two out of 10 races this season. Most of those problems came down to the new engine package. That's compared to only two retirements the team suffered last season, when it was still under Mercedes power, and none the year before. In Hungary, however, the team not only got both cars to the finish line, but placed both in the points for the first time this season. "The sport has changed immensely since the McLaren-Honda 'glory days'," said Arai. "The current technology is much more sophisticated, and it is tough to make a good racing car. We knew it wouldn't be easy, but perhaps we didn't imagine it would be this hard." The Japanese manufacturer is now spending the summer break developing its power unit. Many of those changes are expected to be rolled out in time for the Belgian Grand Prix later this month, with the rest to follow in the ensuing races. Beyond reliability, engine performance is particularly important for the high-speed races at Spa and Monza, where the subsequent Italian Grand Prix will be held early next month. Related Video:
Newest version of Honda's ASIMO coming to TV on April 15
Mon, 07 Apr 2014Honda's ASIMO robot is moving into its teenage years, having originally been introduced in 2000, and like all teens, it's still learning. The bot has received regular incremental upgrades over that time, and the latest version will premiere on LIVE with Kelly and Michael on Tuesday, April 15.
The newest enhancements provide ASIMO with improved hand dexterity, the ability to use sign language, run faster, climb stars more smoothly, balance on one foot, jump and more. Honda says other new features will be demonstrated with hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan on the show.
The ongoing development of ASIMO, which stands for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility, is being done so that one day it can help humans who require assistance. The current version is 4-feet, 3-inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and is made mostly from magnesium alloy and plastic. A big limit is still its lithium-ion battery that only provides 40 minutes of charge. The robot has not needed human control to move since a previous iteration in 2011, which also improved its manual dexterity. It could even pour drinks.
Honda renders three-row MPV for Jakarta reveal
Mon, 22 Jul 2013In preparation for the Indonesia International Motor Show coming up in September, Honda has released a teaser sketch (click to enlarge) of a new three-row MPV - specifically designed for this region - set to debut at the show. Honda says this yet-to-be-named people mover will be positioned in the entry-level MPV segment, which it says is a crucial part of the Indonesian auto market.
While there is no way to tell the size of the vehicle based off this rendering, it does appear to be far more stylish than the Honda CR-V, although the stepped-down beltline and the pinched shape of the rear quarter window have us thinking that Honda designers have been staring at the BMW i3 a little bit too much. The New Honda MPV will be powered by a 1.5-liter gas engine, and it goes on sale (and production) in Indonesia early next year. Honda has released a short press release for the new model, which is posted below.
