Winning bidder will receive this 1979 Honda Civic CVCC. I purchased this car for my 15 year old daughter to restore it for her. She has decided that she wants to have a manual transmission car. The car was a daily driver when I purchased it around 6 months ago. It hasnt been driven much in the last six months. I cleaned it up today and if fired right up and drove well. This car could be a daily driver now or would be a perfect restoration project. It is very mechanically sound. The previous owner went throug the motor completely. It has a new front wiring harness, new coil, new manifold and new carberator. The car is complete with all interior and exterior lights, hor and guages working perfectly. The speedometer does not work, I dont know why, but the guy I bought it from said that the cable just needed to be hooked up. There is no radio. There is no air conditioning. The windows all roll great and the back windows open with perfectly functioning latches.

As a restoration project it will definately need: A new hood, Front Bumper Filler Panel, New mouldings. The windshield has a chip out of the lower passengers side, which I think is repairable. All other glass is perfect. All body panels are in solid condition with the exception of the hood, which like I said needs replaced. It has some rust in the typical place like below the rear glass and below the side glass, which I took pictures of. The interior is in decent shape with the exception on a tear in the drivers seat and a small crack on the passengers dashboard. The floor pans are all solid as a rock and the carpet is in good condition.

This is a rare care. Since I bought mine I have only seen one other on Ebay (which is listed now ironically). I have never found one on Craigslist in Atlanta. Like I said, you can buy this car and drive it today or restore it and have a beautiful classic Honda. If you want to come by my house in McDonough Ga I will be happy to let you look at it and take you for a ride. There is a reserve price, which is exactly what I paid for the car. 2016 Honda Civic Coupe spied inside and out

Honda may be prepared to unveil the 2016 Civic Coupe on Sept. 16, but that doesn't mean work is done on the eagerly anticipated new fastback. Honda is continuing testing, as evidenced by this latest round of photos, which even gives us a glimpse of the cabin. As we can see, the exterior's shape has been toned down compared to the concept shown earlier this year in New York City, although the overall fastback rear end, high beltline, and generally aggressive styling is still present. Closer details, particularly around the front fascia, are harder to discern owing to the camouflage. The last-generation Civic did things very wrong. It went budget at a time when compact consumers demanded more premium features, options, and materials. Things were so bad that Honda had to rush a lackluster refresh to market. But with the new Civic, it finally looks like the Japanese brand is on its A-game. While plastic appears to still be the dominant material, the quality on display looks like it's been elevated substantially. The steering wheel is small, relatively sporting, and wrapped in black leather, while the beige leather seats look to have a modest dose of bolstering. The switch gear looks good, almost like it's been plucked from a higher-end model, like the Pilot, while our spies report that there will be a better array of optional extras, including stuff that's shown up as part of the Honda sensing suite of technology. 2014 Honda Odyssey set to clean up in NY with world's first in-car vacuum

Much of the minivan segment's volume has been sucked up by the industry's ever-increasing appetite for crossovers, but a few major players are hanging in there, eager to serve as beasts of burden for America's families. Chief among those players is Honda, which is showing its revamped 2014 Odyssey at this week's New York Auto Show with a potential game-changing feature - an in-car vacuum.
Co-developed with Shop-Vac, the HondaVAC system will come standard on the range-topping Touring Elite model. The system includes a replaceable filter and canister bag, along with a range of attachments located in the cargo hold. Honda says this first-ever feature includes a hose that is long enough to clean the entire interior. Better still, the vacuum will run for up to eight minutes after the vehicle is turned off, so you can get every last Cheerio out of the seat cushions, and it never needs plugging in or recharging, as it runs off of the vehicle's electrical system.
In other news, the 2014 Odyssey gets a new aluminum hood and fenders to pair with its revamped grille and lower fascia. Headlamps get a more sinister look thanks to darker surrounds, and there are new LED taillamps out back, as well as revamped side mirrors on the doors. Underneath the skin, Honda says the 2014 Odyssey has received structural changes to help it ace the Insurance Institute For Highway Safety's new small-overlap frontal crash test, and it's also added active safety features like lane departure warning and forward collision warning to the optional features list.

Fred Savage wants to narrate your home videos to practice for Honda gig

Honda is getting ready to launch a new advertising campaign with Fred Savage of The Wonder Years (and The Princess Bride) fame, and in order to get his voice in game shape, Savage is taking to social media to get prepared. More specifically, he's apparently interested in adding some voiceover to fun videos provided by fans of the Honda brand, and all you have to do to be considered is to get his attention on Twitter using the hashtag #HondaPromo.
We have no idea how Savage or the Honda PR team plans to choose which videos will be turned into narrated works of art, but we do think it's a pretty fun idea. So, if you happen to have a video that could use some narration, and you think Savage would provide the perfect pitch, hit him up. Oh, be sure to read the terms and conditions first.
