I have a 2002 Honda Accord EX for sale. It has 112,000 miles on it and is an automatic. It has been wrecked in the front left but hasn't affected the way it drives. The timing belt and water pump have been replaced, so the car is good for another 100k miles before it needs to be replaced again. I do have pictures of the damage if you would like to see it. The car does drive straight and doesn't pull to the passenger side, the side that was damaged. I have drove it since it has been wrecked and put about 200 miles on it and it has never pulled to the right. The only thing this car needs is 4 new tires. DON'T LET THAT BE A DEAL BREAKER!!!! I do have the 4 tires in my garage that have about 1000 miles on them from my last Honda Accord. They are an EXACT fit and have been sitting in my garage on the sidewalls since June of 2011. I will have to take more pictures of the outside of the car. That is going to have to wait because it is raining here in Alabama and I have a full week after today. It will possibly be this weekend before I can upload them. The radio that is in the pic is not included in the sale. I do have the factory 6 disc Cd changer with the car and that gives you the radio controls on the steering wheel again. I can meet/deliver the car up to 50 miles one way. Anything after will be discussed after the bidding has ended. That means every mile I drive AFTER 50 miles loaded with the car is .75 cents. Shipping is going to be on the buyers dime. There will be an IMMEDIATE $500 non refundable deposit from the winner within 24 hours of the auction ending. I will need a response from the winning bidder once the auction is over. Also, I do have the title on the vehicle. It is showing a lien holder, that lien holder is my mom. The bank doesn't have the title it is in my house as I am typing this.
I WILL NOT SELL THIS OUT OF EBAY. IF YOU WANT IT, BID ON IT.

Honda CEO: electric vehicles are a 'core technology'
Mon, Jul 6 2015The production version of Honda's hydrogen-powered FCEV concept remains on target for release in Japan by March 2016, and it's going to be followed by at least two more vehicles that have some form of electric powertrain. Probably more than two, but we can't be more specific than that. This is what we learned today from a speech by the new president and CEO of Honda Motor Company, Takahiro Hachigo. Speaking about the two main themes he sees for the future of the automaker (the six-region global operation structure and "continuous development of challenging products unique to Honda"), Hachigo once again confirmed an on-sale date for the production version of the FCEV concept that Honda has been trotting out at auto shows for a few years now as happening, "before the end of the current fiscal year" which ends March 31, 2016. He also said something broader about the company's vision for electric cars: "As the next-generation of mobility products, Honda will evolve products that use electricity as a core technology," he said. While we don't yet know what the electric vehicle products are, Hachigo's statements echo those of Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of American Honda, from when the FCEV concept was unveiled: "The Honda FCEV Concept not only sets our direction for our next generation fuel-cell vehicle in 2015, but for future improvements in electric drive technology." Honda previously promised new all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles by 2018, and today's comments signal that that plan is still in place. Things may change though, since Honda's original release date for the FCEV was 2015. He highlighted two themes that the new "Team Honda" will pursue: I want to create a new Honda under two themes. < Two themes to be pursued for the new Honda > 1. Advancement of the six-region global operation structure 2. Continuous development of challenging products unique to Honda and delivering them to our customers around the world Let me talk about my vision for the future of Honda which will be established as we pursue these themes. The key word is "Team Honda." < Future of Honda – My thoughts based on personal experiences "at the spot"> Honda's strength is that team/project members share one goal and take on challenges and attain high targets.
Japan's government gives hydrogen vehicles a big boost
Tue, Jun 3 2014The Japanese government is really paving the way for hydrogen fuel cell technology on its roads. Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry is changing regulations on fuel tanks to make hydrogen cars more appealing to drivers, which should help put the country ahead of others in the race to develop a viable H2 fleet. Japan is raising the allowed pressure of hydrogen tanks from 700 atmospheres to 875, which has the effect of increasing driving range by 20 percent. This move puts the country in line with others with high-pressure fueling regulations. Japan is also in talks with the United Nations and the European Union to streamline inspection rules to make it easier to export Japan's fuel-cell vehicles. Toyota premiered its hydrogen-powered FCV Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show last year and plans to release a production version as early as next year. Honda also plans to build its own fuel-cell cars for 2015, and it debuted its FCEV Concept at last year's Los Angeles Auto Show. Nissan is sending mixed messages on hydrogen, both questioning the availability of a refueling infrastructure and working on developing the vehicles. In Japan, a relatively small country, increasing the range of fuel-cell vehicles makes creating a usable infrastructure a bit less daunting. Will hydrogen-fueled electric cars see the same sort of success as Toyota's Prius hybrid or battery-powered EVs? Only time will tell, but we can keep our fingers crossed that it will, and that the popularity spills over beyond Asia. Honda spinning off Acura as stand-alone division in bid to wake up brand
Tue, 11 Mar 2014Every major automaker has a different way of relating between its various divisions and brands. At Volkswagen, for example, the individual brands seem to operate with a large degree of autonomy. Under the Renault-Nissan Alliance, the two units share a common chief executive, but little else. The relationship between Honda and its luxury division Acura has always been rather close, but that's all about to change.
American Honda Motor Company has always handled sales and marketing in the North American market for both the Honda and Acura divisions, but new reorganization plans call for the two units to be separated under their own direction. Leading the Acura division will be Michael Accavitti, who moves into the position from his role as Senior Vice President for Auto Operations at American Honda. The Honda division will meanwhile be taken over by the current head of Acura sales, Jeff Conrad.
Both will report to John Mendel, the current executive vice president of the Automobile Sales Division that is being rebranded as the American Honda Auto Division. Unlike rivals Lexus and Infiniti - two brands that Acura beat to the market - Honda barely markets its luxury brand outside of North America. Its overseas presence is felt only in China, though we've yet to receive word on how the reorganization might effect that market - or for that matter, any potential of expanding into others.
