1995 Honda Accord for sale, really nice midnight (very dark) blue color with gray interior and only 85,000 miles!!! If you've been looking for one of these you already know most of them have 150,000-200,000 on them.
This is a really clean car, has power windows and locks, new BOSS CD player/am/fm stereo
All of the options work as they should and the car runs great!
The good:
Has a set of good tires, good years in front and continentals in back all four evenly worn with about 75-80% tread left!
Just last week replaced: timing belt, water pump, balance shaft belt, and tensioner, and idle air control valve!
The interior of the car is in perfect shape, the backseat looks like it's never been sat in.

The Bad:
The brake light just came on in the car... Not sure if the parking brake sensor is bad? Or maybe it needs brakes? It stops just fine, but did just notice the light was on (see pictures)
The armrest lid is missing in the car (see pictures) not a huge deal they are available on ebay lots of times for around 30-40 dollars
The car is missing two hubcaps... You could just leave the black steel wheels or pick up a set of your choice anywhere like autozone or at a tire shop, and they just snap right on.
There are a couple dings on the body - nothing major at all especially for a 19 year old car. (See pictures)
A/C is currently not working, probably just needs a recharge but I'm not 100% certain.

These are all fairly minor things but I just want to make sure to disclose everything to the buyer so you are happy with your new car!
All in all this is a really clean example of an accord with SUPER low miles. Great on gas and a good looking little car too. This one is ready for summer or to customize and build into a neat car to keep!
Contact me anyone to come see the car in person. Thanks for looking!

Honda shows us 'The Challenging Spirit of Honda'... in Japanese

Sun, 29 Dec 2013

Just as Porsche has done with its lengthy Le Mans gear-up, Honda is is laying the table for its Formula One return more than a year before we'll actually see it on track. We've heard what it's 2015 engine will sound like, reminisced with the 1988 McLaren Honda MP4/4 and the 1964 Honda RA271 and spoken to the company's CEO about what F1 involvement could do for its production car engines.
The automaker has now released a video called The Challenging Spirit of Honda that traces the development of its in-house F1 program and the jump from motorcycles to the first RA270 F1 chassis in 1962, to the RA272 chassis that won the 1965 Grand Prix. The only catch: the video is in Japanese. However, you can read about the winning car in English, and the video ends with another sound check of the 2015 power unit. That is a universal language, and you'll find it being spoken below.

2014 Honda HPD CR-Z

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

Honda invited us to its Southern California North American headquarters last week to take a spin in a very special CR-Z - one modified with a full complement of Honda Performance Development (HPD) components. While the company has been racing with HPD parts for years, this is the first time the automaker has offered them for its street-legal vehicles, and it has chosen this year's SEMA Show in Las Vegas to be the launch venue. Last year, Honda introduced the HPD Supercharged CR-Z Concept at SEMA - this is the slightly modified production version.
The complete transformation gives the normally placid hybrid hatchback a serious shot of adrenaline thanks to a bolt-on supercharger combined with suspension, tire, brake and exhaust upgrades. In addition to the blower (detailed in a bullet point below), new HPD suspension components lower the car by about half an inch, and firmer spring rates stiffen the ride. Stock 16- or 17-inch wheels are then replaced with HPD 18-inch alloys wrapped in sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (215/40ZR18 at all corners). The clutch is upgraded, a limited-slip differential is installed and new HPD monobloc four-piston calipers are fitted over slotted and ventilated iron rotors up front (the single-pistons over solid discs on the back axle are unchanged). In the rear, the stock hidden single exhaust pipe is replaced by a free-flow twin-tip exhaust that peers out of a new HPD lower diffuser. Other cosmetic enhancements include an HPD front lip spoiler, rear deck lid spoiler and an HPD emblem kit for each side. To say the CR-Z is transformed by the complete HPD package is an understatement.

Honda promises all-new Ridgeline within two years

Tue, 10 Dec 2013

Despite an aging design and low sales, Honda has remained committed to its Ridgeline pickup truck. Now, in its first official confirmation of a next-gen Ridgeline, Honda has released a teaser sketch (click to enlarge) of the new truck and promised a debut within two years, as previously reported.
The sketch shows the direction that Honda is planning for its new truck, which appears to ditch the single-piece body in favor of a more conventional pickup truck design. Even with the new design, it's not clear if Honda will move away from the Ridgeline's car-based platform shared with the Odyssey, Pilot and Accord. Sales of the Ridgeline dipped to below 10,000 units in 2011 but have increased steadily over the last two years (including 29 percent so far in 2013) with slightly more than 16,000 units on the year.
As for the current Ridgeline, Honda will wind down production at the Lincoln, AL assembly plant sometime during the middle of next year. The press release for the announcement is posted below.
