For sale is my 2007 Honda S2000. Factory Berlina Black. Under 80K miles on the car. Clean title. Garage kept. Never smoked in. Has been babied since ownership. I purchased the car bone stock in October of 2012 with around 72K miles on it. Selling ONLY because I’m getting married and my money currently needs to go elsewhere. Since my ownership, I’ve personalized it a little bit with the following modifications:

AUT Carbon Fiber Cooling Plate

K&N FIPK Intake

Skunk2 72mm Throttle Body

Skunk2 Radiator Hose Kit

Skunk2 Pro-C Coilover Suspension (fully adjustable)

Eibach Sway Bars

Gladman Performance Front Upper Strut Bar

Gladman Performance Battery and Master Cylinder Covers

Gladman Performance Rear Lower Tie Bar Upgrade

Password JDM Carbon Fiber Spark Plug Cover

Password JDM Carbon Fiber Heat Shield

StopTech Rotors, Pads, and Stainless Steel Brake Lines

Factory wheels have been beautifully powder coated matte black (no chips, knicks, etc.)

Other small mods include: Skunk2 radiator cap, Revolver oil cap, tinted tail lights and side markers, removed pinstripes, de-badged front fenders, 5% window tint, and an aux input install to the factory radio

Factory Specs Include:

Power windows, locks, mirrors, top

Black leather interior

Remote entry

6-speed manual transmission

All parts and work were professionally done. The car handles unimaginably perfect with the suspension upgrades. The car has never been raced, on a track, or driven abusively. All the upgrades were done under my ownership of the car for my personal driving pleasure. The suspension upgrades make drives through the mountains a blast. The exhaust on the car is 100% stock. The motor sounds beautiful with the K&N and the Skunk2 throttle body alone. I have listed everything I can think of about the car. It’s beautiful. Paint looks great. It runs perfect. Someone is going to get a GREAT car. All factory parts that were replaced (throttle body, hoses, suspension, brakes, etc) are INCLUDED with the car! I’m in no hurry to sell so low ball offers will be ignored. I will hear any and all reasonable offers, though. ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES! Will not ship! Deal must be done by cash or certified check in person.

Please message me with your phone number to discuss further details about the car or purchase. CARFAX can be provided. Thanks for reading!

2016 Honda HR-V: Long-Term Introduction

Mon, Nov 9 2015

From the moment we first drove Honda's new HR-V, it was clear that this car would be a hit in the now-booming small crossover segment. Through October of this year, Honda moved 33,727 examples of its new HR-V, and last month alone, the CUV outsold its platform-mate Fit nearly three-and-a-half times over. Considering its importance not only for the segment, but for Honda as a brand, we knew a longer test of the cute little HR-V was in order. Enter our latest addition to the Autoblog long-term fleet, a mid-level HR-V EX with all-wheel drive. We chose EX because it's the volume model, representing the majority of the cars out on the road. Even so, it's incredibly well-equipped with 17-inch wheels, heated seats, a seven-inch infotainment system (that lacks navigation on this model), tinted windows, a sunroof, foglamps, a standard array of tech features, Honda's Lane Watch camera system, and more. Adding all-wheel drive was a no-brainer, considering Autoblog's headquarters in snowy metro Detroit, though this meant being forced to live with the continuously variable transmission. (Front-wheel-drive HR-Vs can be had with a pleasant six-speed manual.) Our car features the light cloth interior, and we'll be interested to see how it holds up over the course of a year. All in, the Alabaster Silver Metallic car you see here stickers for $24,115. All in, the Alabaster Silver Metallic car you see here stickers for $24,115, including $900 for destination. That means the HR-V is the least-expensive car we've ever had in the long-term fleet. Every HR-V comes with one powertrain: a 1.8-liter, naturally-aspirated inline-four, good for 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque. That's adequate considering the 3,094-pound curb weight, and allows the HR-V to return EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 27 miles per gallon city and 32 mpg highway. Our car arrived with only 130 miles on the odometer, so we're going to let the engine fully break in before we start tracking our observed fuel economy data. That said, the HR-V has been a hot commodity in the Autoblog fleet ever since its arrival. In its first week on the job alone, the Honda handled a road trip to northern Michigan and helped one of our staffers move. (The Magic Seats and 55.9 cubic-feet of cargo space are fantastic, by the way – more on that in a future update.) "Control layout is a lot simpler than other recent Hondas.

McLaren pondering Honda-powered 911 killer?

Tue, 21 May 2013

As one of the premier sports cars in the world, the Porsche 911 is always driving around with a target on its rear-engined backside. If a new report is to be believed, the latest automaker with plans to build a 911-fighting sports coupe could be McLaren. Motor Trend is reporting that the recent news that Honda and McLaren are teaming up to build Formula One racecars could bear road-going fruit as well.
According to the article, the unnamed entry-level McLaren coupe may be powered by a Honda-sourced engine, but a detuned version of the 3.8-liter V8 from the MP4-12C is said to be more likely. All in, though, there is no solid information on the car just yet. As a reminder, M/T points out that the last time McLaren partnered up with a mainstream automaker, the world was introduced to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.

Honda speeds towards its dreams with new Civic Type R Concept [w/videos]

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

A war is coming. It's been brewing for some time between the top-performing hot hatches, and will be determined by the ultimate bragging rights: the lap record at the Nürburgring for front-drive cars. Renault claimed it and reclaimed it again with successive versions of the Megane RS, then Seat took it by some margin with the new Leon Cupra. But this could take it from both.
It's the new Honda Civic Type R - or at least a conceptual preview of the one to follow. We drove an early prototype of the forthcoming Japanese hot hatch while in town for the Tokyo Motor Show a few months ago, where Honda made no secret of its Eiffel-bound aspirations. Now it has taken a big step closer with the concept you see here.
Previewing the extreme styling that will set the next Type R apart from ordinary Civics (or the European-spec hatchback on which it's based), the concept has a giant rear spoiler, enlarged grilles, hood vents and widened fenders packing both 20-inch alloys and additional air vents.
