Up for sale is my Blue 2003 Honda S2000. I have owned this car for the past 5+ years and I am the fourth owner. I have the Carfax from when I bought it. The car was involved in a minor collision several years ago and was repaired at a dealership. I have never been able to tell where it was hit so they apparently did a good job repairing it. I will include a copy of the Carfax in the listing as well as a scanned copy of the title. Now onto the car I believe the actual color is Suzuka blue metallic but don't quote me on that. The car is stock with the exception of the window tint, cross drilled and slotted rotors, calipers painted red, ceramic brake pads (for less dust better stopping power), Injen cold full air intake that is mounted under front passenger side bumper, front sway bar not sure what kind I forgot and of course aftermarket wheels. I am not very pleased about this sale but I am buying a second home and need the money so unfortunately it has to go. The car is currently located in MO I am in AZ. I gave the car to my father about 3 1/3 years ago since my wife was pregnant and I figured I would not be using it much and when my dad saw it he guilted me into letting him have it. My parents are elderly and their care has fallen to me which is why I am buying another house so they can move in with me so I can keep a better eye on them. If you have any questions about the car call me Antonio 602-459-3991 if you live near my father call me and I will give you his contact information. Shipping if applicable will be the responsibility of the buyer. We will accommodate as needed. Car will also come with a custom car cover. For all those reserve wondering Ebayers it is set in the private party range per KBB. Sorry about the pics but they were taken by my father who is in his 70s. Payment will either be made to me or my father we are both on the title and either one of us can sign it over to the new owner. Thanks for looking and happy bidding you won't be disappointed with this car. It has been dealership maintained since I got it.

On Mar-21-14 at 22:43:07 PDT, seller added the following information:

Apparently the add auto populated the vehicle's location based upon my account info. I just want to clarify the car is currently located in St. Charles MO 63303. I wrote it in the add hopefully this will bring that fact to light..

Honda's Uni-Cub hacked to be a boombox and a personal guide

Wed, Aug 3 2016

Honda has a history of developing technology that strays from its famous car and motorcycle lines. A few years ago, the company added to that legacy of gadgets that aren't cars by introducing the Uni-Cub personal mobility device. It was more or less a Segway that did away with the whole standing thing, meaning that riders simply had to sit down and lean in whatever direction they wanted to go. That's all well and good, but Honda wanted to see what else the device could be used for, so the company updated the mobility chair to allow other people to code applications for it. Then Honda hosted a hack-a-thon for people to come out and see what they could do with it. Based on the video above, it seems plenty of people have ideas for the little wheeled wonder. One team developed the perfect party companion by attaching a speaker to the Uni-Cub and creating an app that would let people upload tracks to a playlist from their phone. And since the Uni-Cub is mobile, it can bring the tunes to wherever the people are. All it needs now are some cup holders. Another team developed a way to get people around new, confusing office buildings by turning the Uni-Cub into a guide. Upon entering a building, a person can request a Uni-Cub to come pick them up and then hop on to take a ride to their destination. The Uni-Cub can then return to its home base, and, if the person programs it ahead of time, can return on its own to take the user back to the entrance. Of course this would mean no more excuses to showing up late to a meeting. None of these ideas are planned for any sort of production, but they certainly are interesting. That said, our favorite Uni-Cub application remains the video for OK Go's "I Won't Let You Down". You should probably just go watch that one again. Will states start to prevent you from registering cars that have pending recalls?

Sat, Nov 22 2014

The impact of 2014 – henceforth known as Year of the Recalls – will have long-ranging consequences on the auto industry. One of the biggest changes, though, might not be in the way manufacturers inform the government of pending recalls or in the way Uncle Sam punishes automakers that violate its rules, but in the ability to sell cars with pending recalls. And strangely enough, the charge is being led by an automaker. Honda Executive Vice President Rick Schostek, pictured above, argued during a meeting of the Senate Transportation Committee that the government needs to take a role in mandating that consumers have recall services performed. That could include withholding registration for vehicles with pending recalls, Bloomberg reports. Honda is just one of the automakers currently embroiled in the massive Takata airbag recall. "It's a good idea," safety advocate Clarence Ditlow said, according to Bloomberg. "California won't give you a registration if you have an emissions recall. Why not a safety recall?" "Honda is going to use any innovative tools to find customers and get these recalls done," Schostek told the Transportation Committee. The exec, aside from echoing Ditlow's viewpoint, also argued for requiring dealerships and garages to inform vehicle owners of incomplete recalls, regardless of the service provided. Schostek also made an argument that state governments could step in, as well. Whatever ends up happening, it's fair to say that between Takata and General Motors, the future of recalls for American consumers are set for significant changes. Honda demonstrates new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian safety tech [w/video]

Fri, 30 Aug 2013

We're fresh from a balmy rooftop deck in downtown Detroit, where Honda held a meeting this week to discuss and demonstrate a few upcoming advanced safety features. A clear focus of the mini event was the company's new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian (V2P) technology, with a suite of Vehicle-to-Motorcycle (V2M) tech a significant second course.
With spirits still high from announcing the 2014 Odyssey as the first minivan to win the Top Safety Pick+ status from IIHS - and after seeing the application of new high-strength-steel sections of the Acura MDX body structure - Honda shared the fruits of some safety tech that is still in the research phase.
