See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"Recently in an accident--hit on the Driver's side front end by another vehicle. The front bumper came off and the frame is bent. The car still drives and functions perfectly, I actually drove it home from the accident and it's been sitting in our garage. I'm not a big car guy, but to my knowledge this is the extent of the damage (Please see pics for more details and contact me if you want any specific pics): 1. Frame bent 2. Front Bumper 3. Driver's side front fender and door 4. Front hood 5. Passenger's side front fender 6. Airbags DID NOT deploy!!"

Clear Title, in hand --Not salvaged!  Airbags did not deploy!  Engine runs and car drives great!  All interior parts working!  Great project for someone who knows what they're doing.

The title is CLEAR and in my possession!!!  The accident was not run through our insurance because there was no collision insurance on the vehicle. We were about to replace the vehicle anyway, so we decided to sell it as is instead of paying to fix it.

Please note: The vehicle is drive-able and can handle a long drive, but given the missing front bumper it may not be legal to drive on public roads.

Vehicle has been well-maintained an received regular oil-changes and maintenance.  Tires less than 1 year old.  Battery replaced less than 6 months ago.  Interior shows normal wear and tear for a family car this age and mileage but is clean.  Never smoked in.  We are the 2nd owners of this car and purchased it was around 55K miles on it in 2009.  We put an after-market Flip-down DVD player in it about 1yr ago--professionally installed.

I would be happy to answer any questions and/or take any pics or videos you would like to see and text or email them to you to help you make up your mind.  Just let me know.

Vehicle location: Pensacola, FL.  I can help with arrangements from the airport, if needed.

The 2018 Honda Accord will have the Civic's sexy roofline

Thu, Sep 29 2016

The current ninth generation Honda Accord started production in 2012, and although the midsize sedan got a facelift in 2016, it's time to start looking ahead to the tenth generation. Honda is fresh off the successful launch of the latest Civic, so expect a strong follow up to what is already one of the best sedans on the market. Our spy photographer caught the latest heavily-camouflaged model out testing. As with so many test vehicles, this latest Honda Accord is heavily covered with camouflage. The overall shape is very Civic-like, with a fastback roofline and short trunk lid. The headlights appear to be wide, narrow, and similar to the current design, but again it's difficult to make out any specific details. Our photographer also managed to get a couple pictures of the interior, but those don't reveal much other than a number of buttons, which is an improvement over Honda's current infotainment system. It's difficult to see if the two-screen setup remains. Other than that, these photos don't reveal much. We can only speculate on things like interior improvements or engine and options, but turbocharging and CVTs are almost assuredly on the table. The future of the V6 seems especially uncertain as much of the Accord's competition has moved to four-cylinder only power. Look for a full reveal the 2018 Honda Accord sometime next year. Honda profit declines on semiconductor crunch and raw material costs

Wed, Aug 10 2022

TOKYO — HondaÂ’s fiscal first quarter profit fell 33% from last year as a global computer chip shortage, a pandemic-related lockdown in China and the rising costs of raw materials hurt the Japanese automaker. Tokyo-based Honda Motor Co. reported Wednesday that its profit totaled 149.2 billion yen ($1.1 billion) in the April-June quarter, down from 222.5 billion yen ($1.7 billion) a year earlier. Quarterly sales slipped 7% to 3.8 trillion yen ($28 billion). Honda kept its profit forecast for the full fiscal year through March 2023 unchanged at 710 billion yen ($5.3 billion). The semiconductor shortage has hurt all the worldÂ’s automakers, including Honda, despite strong demand, and the manufacturers have been scrambling to secure alternative suppliers. Honda, which makes the Accord sedan, Odyssey minivan and Civic compact, sold about 815,000 vehicles last quarter, down from 998,000 vehicles the same period a year earlier. Auto sales dropped in almost all regions around the world, including Japan, the U.S. and Europe. “I ask for the understanding from all those who are still waiting for their vehicles and vow that our whole company is doing its utmost to make the deliveries even a day sooner,” Chief Financial Officer Kohei Takeuchi said. Takeuchi said the semiconductor shortage curtailed motorcycle production as well as car production, adding to uncertainty about future prospects. Honda said the recent lockdown in Shanghai was among the causes of the shortage in computer chips supply but declined to give specifics. Although U.S. sales are potentially facing a dent from recession worries and other economic hardships, Takeuchi acknowledged he was more worried about the shortage problem and producing the cars customers were waiting for. Takeuchi noted that motorcycle sales for the quarter, which grew to 4.25 million motorcycles from 3.88 million a year earlier, were going strong, especially in India. The cheaper yen and cost cuts helped maintain profitability overall, he added. The yen has been at a two-decade low against the U.S. dollar. A cheap yen has historically worked as a boon for exporters like Honda by boosting the value of their overseas earnings when converted into yen. But it also increases costs for imported components and materials. JapanÂ’s top automaker Toyota Motor Corp. reported recently that its fiscal first quarter profit fell nearly 18%. Nissan Motor Co. saw its quarterly profit plunge to less than half of what it was a year earlier.

Honda, Acura lay out future plans: HR-V and more coming in 2022

Thu, Jan 13 2022

Automakers and PR representatives are notoriously tight-lipped about upcoming vehicles. The infamous line that all of us in the car news business are familiar with is, "We cannot comment on future product." But this week, Honda opened up a little bit and laid out its big reveals for the coming year, and it's going to be a busy one. It all starts with the 2023 Honda HR-V, shown in the renderings above. The company didn't share a whole lot of details since it was focusing on the broad product plans, but it did note that it will be "unique to North America." It's not clear if it's just styling, which is abundantly obvious compared to the European HR-V and Japanese Vezel shown below, or if it will have a different platform and powertrains. We suspect the latter, since looking at the renderings, not only does it have a meaner, more aggressive look, but the glass in the greenhouse is different, as are the door handles. The HR-V is only the start of the big product rollout. More SUVs follow starting with the new CR-V, and then the new Pilot. A new Accord is coming, and of course there's the imminent Civic Type R. Acura's rollout is a bit more modest, with the big launches being the new Integra and the Type-S version of the MDX. Honda HR-V / Vezel View 11 Photos Plug-in hybrids aren't part of the plan There's one thing that Honda isn't including in its plans, and that's plug-in hybrids. When asked why, American Honda's executive Vice President of National Operations Dave Gardner noted that public and governmental feelings have moved from just reducing emissions to eliminating them entirely. As such, the time and effort to develop plug-in hybrids doesn't make sense when that could be applied to fully electric cars. Conventional, non-plug-in hybrids are still planned, and Honda is expecting ever increasing hybrid sales in the next few years. The company is expecting half of Accord sales will eventually be hybrid. As for Acura, hybrids aren't planned to be a big part of sales, with the brand jumping straight to EVs. Speaking of EVs, Honda's first North American electric car is still planned to be the Prologue. It's the electric model that's going to be based on a General Motors product. It's slated for the 2024 model year, and Honda is anticipating around 70,000 annual sales for it to start. Acura will get a counterpart to the Prologue, which may be named ADX. Related video:
