2011 Honda Crv 4wd 4x4 Suv Exl Automatic Fix Rebuildable Rebuilder ! on 2040-cars
Mayfield, Kentucky, United States
2011 Honda CR-V EXL loaded
This is my mother in laws car. She had an accident last week. The car is not totaled, but she wants to sell the car and get a new one. This is a great opportunity to get an EZ Fix car with a clean one owner title. There is no frame/structure damage to any of the driveline on this car. Both drivers side doors, the rocker panel and front fender will have to be replaced. The side air curtains deployed in the accident. I spoke with the owner of the body shop who has the car now and was told there is a small buckle in the floor board but when it is pulled to get the rocker straight before replacement it would fall back into place. The body shop removed the door panel and some moldings for the adjuster to see how much damage was there. All of those parts are in the car unhurt. This is a 3 day only auction. At the end of the auction it will have a new owner, or we will have the body shop start the repair of the car. We have a clean clear title with no liens. We must have a $250 deposit at auction end or if Buy it now is used within 24 hours. Paypal preferred for the deposit. The balance will be required before the car is released by certified funds (in our bank) or wire.
As-Is but still under factory waranty. Please check with your Honda Dealer to make sure it is transferable. Thank you and happy bidding.
WILL DO OUR BEST TO GET BETTER PICTURES MONDAY MORNING. CAR IS LOCKED INSIDE BODY SHOP FOR THE WEEKEND. |

One man's love of vintage Honda motorcycles spawns new museum
Mon, Jan 19 2015In 1977, David Silver got a Honda SS50 moped - it was the last year of unrestricted mopeds for riders just 16 years of age in the UK. That two-wheeler made him a fan, and starting his Honda parts business in 1986 made him a part of the Honda family. He started collecting, with the idea that he'd eventually open a museum. During a visit to another amateur collector's trove in Pennsylvania, the Brit got the chance to purchase the 125 bikes the American had gathered, and his museum aspirations hit the fast-forward button. He's in the process of building a proper home for the bikes in Suffolk, it should open later this year. There will be everything from the first Cub F engine that people could attach to bicycles in 1952, to two examples of the CB92 Benly Super Sport that showed how fast and how good a 125cc bike could be, to the first Fireblade that dropped in 1992 - our CBR 900RR, to the original Honda Dream. Honda says it could be one of the finest collections outside the company's museum in Japan. You can watch Silver tell his story in the video above, and there's more on what's he'll have in an article in Honda's Dream magazine. Honda planning a second Vezel for developing markets
Tue, 31 Dec 2013The new Honda Vezel was designed as a global product. Unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in November, the compact crossover is already going on sale in Japan, will soon reach Europe and will eventually hit the North American market as well - albeit with a different name and engine lineup. But it won't be sold everywhere.
According to Autocar India, the Vezel was originally earmarked to reach the emerging market on the subcontinent, but the declining value of the rupee has apparently forced Honda to rethink its strategy. Instead, the Japanese automaker is now expected to develop a second compact crossover - one more cost-effective to produce locally - for sale in India and other, nearby developing markets.
The new model would be based on the Brio, a hatchback that's smaller than the Fit (on which the Vezel is based) and built in India, Thailand and Indonesia. Honda has already enlarged the Brio's platform to create the Amaze sedan and Mobilio minivan. Building a crossover on the same platform would reportedly require some re-engineering - particularly around the wheel wells - but would apparently still be more cost-effective than importing the Vezel.
Toyota tops Consumer Reports best, worst used car values
Tue, 18 Mar 2014We often mock Toyota for building boring, soulless cars, but a new study by Consumer Reports suggests that regardless of whether that's true, the company has some of the best used cars on the market. In its report on used cars from 2004-2013, the Japanese automaker had 11 vehicles among its brands on the list - more than any other automaker.
CR breaks the list down by cost and vehicle size, and Toyota has at least one entry at every price point and in nearly every segment. To score a recommendation, a vehicle had to perform well in the magazine's initial tests and score above-average reliability results. It also tried to only suggest cars with electronic stability control. Of the 28 recommended vehicles, Honda/Acura had the second most mentions at six, and Ford, Hyundai and Subaru managed two each.
The Detroit brands also made it to the list, but not in a positive way. Consumer Reports compiled a list of 22 vehicles it wouldn't recommend because "they have multiple years of much-worse-than-average overall reliability." General Motors had the most unrecommended models on the list at six, but Chrysler and Ford weren't far behind, with five cars each from their brands not making the grade. The full list of recommendations is available on CR's website.
