BEAUTIFUL, VERY RELIABLE HONDA. NAPLES GOLD METALLIC WITH IVORY CLOTH INTERIOR. NON SMOKER. I PURCHASED THIS CAR NEW ON 2-11-2002 AND HAVE ALWAYS MAINTAINED AND REPLACED PARTS / OIL AS NEEDED. THE INTERIOR CARPETS AND TRUNK HAVE BEEN COVERED AND PROTECTED WITH RUBBER MATS SINCE NEW -THEREFORE THE CARPET IS LIKE NEW -PERFECT. THE SEATS, DASH AND HEAD LINER SHOW VERY LITTLE WEAR -NO RIPS, TEARS CRACKS OR STAINS -PRISTINE. PASSENGERS SEAT AND REAR SEATS ARE RARELY USED AND SHOW NO WEAR. DOOR PANELS AND ARM RESTS ARE LIKE NEW  THE NAPLES GOLD PAINT IS FREE OF RUST AND IS BRIGHT AND FULL OF LIFE AS IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN GARAGED. A/C BLOWS OUT ICE COLD AND THE HEATER WILL BLAST YOU OUT. THE RADIO SOUNDS GOOD AND EVERYTING WORKS AS IT SHOULD. THE CAR WAS INVOLVED IN 2 VERY MINOR ACCIDENTS. I WAS HIT ON THE REAR BUMPER AND HAD IT REPLACED AND REPAINTED TO FACTORY SPECS AS THE BUMPER CRACKED THERE WAS NO BODY OR FRAME DAMAGE JUST COSMETIC. I WAS ALSO HIT ON THE PASSENGERS FRONT FENDER - A VERY SMALL DENT ABOVE THE WHEEL THAT DOES NOT EFFECT THE PAINT SO I DID NOT HAVE IT REPAIRED (SEE PHOTO ).COMPLETE TUNE-UP AT 103,000 MILES -4 NEW TIRES PURCHASED 7/2012 (107,000 MILES) - NEW FRONT BRAKES 3/2013 (110,000 MILES) YOU CAN TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF THE WHEEL AT 80 MPH SMOOTH PERFORMANCE NO SHAKES OR VIBRATIONS - CAN DRIVE COAST TO COAST VERY RELIABLE. Petrolicious profiles the Triple Nickel, a 1968 Honda CB160

Thu, Jun 25 2015

Petrolicious often puts as much of a focus on the owners as it does on their machines in its videos, but the latest one goes even further as a short documentary that tells the story of a woman getting back into vintage motorcycle racing after an accident. Stacie B. London bought her first bike in 2009, but she jumped into the hobby with both feet. Not too long after getting her cycle, she started competing on two wheels. Fantastic cinematography is always one of the great strengths of Petrolicious' clips, but it absolutely nails the audio here, too. If you enjoy the sound of vintage bikes revving for all they can, then this is a must see. Of course, the story of someone getting into vintage motorcycle racing is also fascinating. London's 1968 Honda CB160 wears the 555 number when on the circuit, hence the nickname Triple Nickel. Not only do we get to see her open up the bike up on the salt flats, but we get to watch part of her first competition on track after recovering from a serious crash. For a relative newcomer not only just to riding a motorcycle but also racing one, London already seems to be hooked.

Honda builds up new Civic Type R ahead of Geneva debut

Wed, Feb 11 2015

It's been a long time coming, but it's almost here. Or almost there, we should say, because it sadly won't be coming (at least in this form) to the United States. We're talking, of course, about the new Honda Civic Type R – a hot hatch we've been anticipating for about a year and a half now through a series of prototypes and concept cars. It's finally set to bow just weeks from now, in final production form, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. But before it does, Honda is giving us yet another taste of what to expect with a trio of teaser images and some juicy details. That Honda's new hot hatch would be powered by its new 2.0-liter turbo four we already knew, but now the Japanese automaker is telling us that it'll produce enough juice to propel the Euro-spec pocket rocket up to a top speed of 167 miles per hour. In a hatchback. That feat will be enabled in large part by its advanced aerodynamics, elements of which we can begin to see from the teaser images – including a big front splitter, deep side skirts, a giant rear wing and an almost completely flat underbody. It'll also be kept in check by a set of Brembo brakes with 13.8-inch drilled discs clamped by four-piston calipers up front and packed into a unique set of 19-inch alloys. It'll all be wrapped for the show stand in classic Japanese racing white, and we're even given a glimpse inside the cabin, where we can see red-glowing instruments, a red center marker at the top of the steering rim and that +R button we were promised. It's all shaping up to be a rather tempting package indeed, but will have to fend off the likes of the new Ford Focus RS and ever-improving challengers from the likes of Renault and Seat to dominate the European hot hatch scene. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long to see in what form Honda brings the fight to America, too.
