----------REDUCED PRICE---------- ----------LOW RESERVE---------- This is a very nice and clean 1993 GMC S15 Sonoma extended cab truck. It has the very powerful and reliable 4.3 Liter V6 engine, with a rock solid automatic transmission. It is absolutely beautiful, and there aren't very many S15's for sale in this condition. Even the S10's are getting hard to find like this (un-molested and straight with no rust) and they aren't worth as much. Please refer to the Kelley Blue Book for the value of a 1993 S15 in this condition, it is a nice surprise that they are worth in excess of my reserve price, and CLIMBING steadily. The tires are 4 months old, having about 90-95% tread. Brakes are very good, all pads are at 85-90% condition. Included in this sale are the original Sonoma wheels as well, with tires on them at about 50% wear. Interior is very nice and super clean, with minimal wear for 20yrs. Dash has brand new black dash pad installed today (Jan 28) (see my feedback and look through orders) Engine DOES NOT smoke. It is rock solid and very powerful. No misses at all, and super strong. Engine fires up and comes to idle from choke as designed even in 15 degree weather, heater works very well too. Throttle body is very clean. My Grandfather always supplemented STA-BIL in every fill-up. This truck is in excellent condition. It has never been abused in any way, never lowered, never modified (except for the muffler, which is an improvement) My Son and I have literally gone through every square inch of it. It was owned my Grandfather and his common law wife. It was their 'trip truck' that they used for visiting family, and never driven in bad weather. Oil was changed religiously, and I know this because I did it whenever it needed to be done when the dealership service plan stopped. This week, I had a Jegs 30235 chambered muffler installed with twin turn-downs at the axle. This muffler gives the truck a very nice and deep sound, while freeing up horsepower and gas mileage (which was around 23mpg, now better). Photos below were taken BEFORE the tailpipe was removed. The original muffler and oem tailpipe is also included in this sale, which is a rust free, in-new condition OEM muffler. New muffler was installed in such a way as to be reversible back to the original with minimal effort. Also (pictured) is a brand new Kenwood stereo/cd deck. It features full WMA MP3 playback, external port, and auxiliary subwoofer outputs (and they WORK). This deck is 2 weeks old, box and warranty included. Peripheral speakers (4) are also new. Truck includes bed liner in excellent condition, not sure if is factory installed, but it was on since new as I remember. Over the past month, we've gone through and replaced a lot of parts as preventive maintenance. There was only one part that may have been malfunctioning, which was the heater core or the heater hoses, so we replaced all of it. Original copper heater core is included in this sale as well. Below is a listing of new parts ALL WITHIN THIS MONTH: Dash pad (aftermarket addition to dash, very nice) Jegs 30235 chambered 40 series muffler Serpentine belt Tensioner pulley Idler pulley Thermostat Heater core Heater hoses (both) Radiator hoses (both) Spark plugs Spark plug wires Ignition coil Distributer cap Distributer rotor Alternator rebuild (professional) Air filter Vacuum lines Fuel filter Oil Differential lube oil ALL light bulbs, inside and out (turn/tail/stop/reverse/headlamps, and all interior bulbs too) The battery was replaced in late 2012. I'm sure there's more, and I'll amend this ad when/if I can think of it. Ok, here's the flaws of the truck, nothing big but we haven't gotten to them yet: -The headliner is in good condition (no tears) but needs to be taken down and re-adhered with interior adhesive. It is currently 'pinned' up until repair. -The a/c works, but needs re-charged. We found a leak at the recharge fitting, replaced it and pressure tested, but haven't bought the Freon, no priority in winter. -The cowl next to the windshield could need repainting. It looks ok, but they are known to fleck or peel easily and this one has done it. We've done a quick touch-up until warmer weather allows us to attend to it. -The passenger side front fender clearcoat is flecking. Easy fix but too cold and we don't have a shop. About a $10 fix. Paint is perfect though. This is all I can think of. This truck has a 'rebuild' title. In 1997 it was driven through a minor flood in Arkansas. We took the truck and immediately dried everything out. The insurance company "totaled" it but my Grandfather liked it so much he bought it back and had the GM dealership replace engine and transmission that are VIN specific and NUMBERS MATCHING for this truck, all electronic components were replaced as well. There is absolutely NO damage evident from this incident 16 years ago, inside or out., not a speck of rust, damage, or mildewing of ANY kind. The truck was fixed and driven by him until he died, whereas it went to Texas with his then widowed wife. After her death it came to me. Please feel free to use the vehicle history option here on ebay. This truck has had 5 legal owners, all within my family, and always maintained by me (since I'm apparently the family mechanic): My Grandfather>Insurance Co.>My Grandfather>My Grandmother>and Me. Buyer does not pay until satisfactory inspection of this truck. Bring whatever you need to check this truck. Compression tester, OBD I scanner, no problem, I have plenty of patience and do the same myself. Buyer will still get positive feedback even if the truck doesn't sell when inspected. However, winning bidder must come to see the vehicle, therefore only serious bidders! We llive in Mena, Arkansas, 65 miles south of Fort Smith. For ANY questions or additional photos please call me at 479-216-1988. I will also send videos upon request as well. There are no secrets to this vehicle, ask and I will answer. We are only getting rid of it because we need a nice family car, as our Durango is a gas hog. If you happen to have a nice one for trade, CALL ME.

2022 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate Interior Review: Better by a million miles
Thu, Jun 23 2022We were right. So were customers. Basically, everyone who took one look at the interior of the current GMC Sierra/Chevrolet Silverado generation and immediately went "not good enough." Possibly followed by "not even close" and/or laughing. The Silverado cabin was especially egregious in the top-of-the-line Sierra Denali, which slapped some token bits of "wood" to the doors and center console sides and called it a day. It didn't even get the Silverado High Country's bronzey trim surrounding the touchscreen. Absolutely nothing about it said, "I am competitive with just about any Ram 1500 or, to a lesser extent, a Ford F-150 King Ranch or Platinum." That changes with the 2022 GMC Sierra. Do I really need to explain why the "After" (up top) is so much better than the "Before" (above)? I do not. The better question is: is it better or at least as good as the Ram and F-150 now? Yes! And! GMC actually upped the game further for 2022 by adding a level beyond the Denali: the Denali Ultimate. While both Denalis share a common design with each other and the also-new Sierra AT4X, that design is different than what you'll find in other Sierras and every redone Silverado. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first time the Silverado and Sierra have had such substantially different interiors. True, they're still awfully similar, but by GMC/Chevy standards, it might as well be night and day. You can see the difference below: Denali Ultimate left, Silverado High Country right. Is one design better than another? I don't think so, but they are indeed different, which is great. BUT! Remember, this is the new Denali Ultimate we're talking about here. That means it goes beyond the regular Denali. First, this "Alpine Umber" color with "Forge perforated leather seat trim" is only available on the Denali Ultimate and the only color available for the Denali Ultimate. It has a bit of the King Ranchy/Long Horny feel to it without going so far into cowboy land. I dig it. The regular Denali offers Jet Black or "Atmosphere/Brownstone" (shades of brown). This leather then features white piping and super-cool baseball-ish contrast stitching. I would like to reiterate at this point that the Sierra Denali's previous idea of a luxury aesthetic upgrade was strips of wood-looking plastic. What's the word I'm searching for? Ah yes. "Effort." But wait, there's more!
