1984 GMC 1500, 4wd, SWB Truck. I was lucky enough to purchase this truck from the original owner, the truck was sold at our local dealership and has been in our area (North Central Arkansas) since new.
I rebuilt this truck for my son...who decided he would rather have a jeep.So he has a jeep and this is for sale and when hes older ...he will cry!
Regardless, I am selling this truck. I have had all rust cut out (typical for this model cab corners, rockers and fender corners) and factory replacement panels installed, painted back to factory colors. Differentials were changed to 3.73 ratios (was 2.73 or 3.07)also has factory limited slip. Transmission was completely gone through with a BM Master kit and BM Towing torque converter installed w shift kit. All u joints were replaced. Both fuel tanks are new (dual tank option) with new valve and switch. New radiator, shocks, brakes, drums, rotors, dash, rubber floormat, power door locks, power window motors , power window switches, all rubber seals and gaskets, cab mounts, front bumber, chrome moulding, seat, signal lever, mechanical gauges, new complete air conditioning system, bedliner, tires (less than 200 miles) and the engine...383 Small Block Stroker Motor. The engine is a eagle engines stroker kit with forged flat top pistons (9.4 compression) forged rods with nitrided crank, harmonic balancer and flex plate all balanced. Crane Hyd Roller Cam (fairly mild for torque/towing and has slight lope) Trick Flow Aluminum Heads (2.02 /1.60 SS Valves) SS 1.6 Roller Rockers( Not Tips)ported and polished and matched to Holley 300-36 Hi Rise Intakew Edelbrock 650 Carb. It has plenty of power to do whatever you want or its docile enough to just cruise around. When you drive it is smooth and quick. Its set up really nice engine, tranny, torque converter, gearing.
This truck is the truck you've always wanted to have or build! ITS ALREADY DONE!! If you want a super nice truck that is functional, usable and a total head turner this is it.

GMC Hummer EV SUV to be fully revealed during Final Four in April
Mon, Mar 8 2021GMC is going to use another large platform to reveal the next chapter in its Hummer story. The GMC Hummer EV SUV will officially be revealed on Saturday, April 3, at 5 p.m. ET during the Final Four. That’s the SUV, not the truck, which has already been revealed. YouÂ’ll be allowed to place a reservation for the SUV at the same time as itÂ’s unveiled during the basketball games. There are no further details about the SUV, but weÂ’ll point out that a decent preview of what the SUV will look like is already out and can be seen here. ItÂ’s going to look a whole lot like the pickup, but will of course be fully boxed in, as an SUV is. WeÂ’ll know more about what GMC has in store in just under a monthÂ’s time. In addition to the news about the impending SUV, GMC released video footage of the pickup version undergoing winter testing in MichiganÂ’s snowy Upper Peninsula. GMC offers more 2024 Hummer EV SUV details, photos
Mon, Apr 5 2021GMC has shared more details about its 2024 Hummer EV SUV after its debut during the NCAA Final Four tournament. The SUV which follows the Hummer EV pickup, is smaller, more maneuverable and has a few features the truck doesn’t. GM says itÂ’s meant to strike a balance between off-road capability and on-road driving. GM also says Edition 1 reservations are already sold out. Compared to the truck, the Hummer SUV has a wheelbase about 9 inches shorter. With four-wheel steering, its turning circle is just 35.4 feet, which GM emphasizes is tighter than that of the Ford Mustang Mach-E (38.1 feet). ItÂ’s also less than the Hummer pickupÂ’s 37.1-foot turning circle. The SUV, which, at 196.8 inches long, is 20 inches shorter than the truck overall. It also features a much shorter rear overhang, at 35.5 inches. While thatÂ’s all helpful maneuvering through city traffic or suburban parking lots, it also provides advantages off-road. It has an approach angle of 49.6 degrees, a 49.0-degree departure angle and a 34.4-degree breakover angle. Suspension travel is 13 inches front and rear, with 16 inches of maximum ground clearance thanks to its Extract Mode that temporarily raises the vehicle to get out of tricky terrain. It can ford water 32 inches deep. It also features the same CrabWalk mode as the pickup. Available Ultravision provides 17 cameras, including underbody views to help navigate the trail. The Hummer SUV benefits from an enclosed cargo area behind the second row of seats. It still features the Infinity Roof with removable panels above the two seating rows to essentially turn the SUV into a convertible. At the rear is a swing-out tailgate that opens wider than the width of the vehicle. A spare tire rides on the tailgate as well. With the rear seats folded, cargo volume peaks at 81.8 cubic feet. Additional hidden storage space is found below the recycled rubber floor mat, which features a design inspired by the moonÂ’s Sea of Tranquility (that's where Apollo 11 landed). As for technology, the Hummer SUV gets a 13.4-inch infotainment screen, plus a 12.3-inch instrument display in front of the driver. Fourteen cameras come standard, and the aforementioned Ultravision provides a total of 17 cameras, including a surround view. The MyGMC mobile app offers satellite rendered trail maps that can also help manage energy consumption off-road and make sure you have enough juice to make it to a charger when finished.

Tim Levin/Insider If you think driving a pint-sized Nissan Leaf is as good for the planet as driving a huge electric Hummer, think again. The GMC Hummer EV uses significantly more electricity than other EVs, meaning it produces more pollution upstream. The electric Hummer weighs 9,000 pounds and its battery weighs as much as a Honda Civic. The new electric Hummer rolls through town without a deafening engine rumble or a cloud of toxic fumes, but it doesn't exactly tread lightly. The colossal truck weighs an astonishing 9,000 pounds. (Think two Toyota Tacomas, three Honda Civics, or 24 Shaquille O'Neals.) Moreover, the GMC Hummer EV is in many ways a supersized gas guzzler for a new era. It repackages many of the same flaws of hulking SUVs and trucks of years past — and proves not all zero-emission cars are created equal. EVs can be energy guzzlers too On the whole, electric cars use less energy than gas-powered ones. But they aren't all equally efficient. No surprise here: The Hummer needs more electricity than any other EV on the market to move its elephantine frame. The Environmental Protection Agency rates the pickup at 47 MPGe (miles per gallon of gasoline-equivalent). For comparison, the Tesla Model 3 sedan is nearly three times as efficient, earning a rating of 132 MPGe. The Ford F-150 Lightning, another electric truck, gets 70 MPGe. This has real consequences: Since the US gets 61% of its energy from oil, coal, and natural gas, the more electricity a car needs, the more pollution it creates upstream. As the Union of Concerned Scientists put it: "Both EV cars and trucks are much cleaner than their gasoline counterparts, but electric trucks are responsible for more global warming emissions than electric cars simply because trucks are larger and heavier." The 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1.
