2007 Gmc Sierra Crew Cab Leather Custom Paint Damaged Easy Fix on 2040-cars

2007 GMC Sierra This truck has been my baby for almost 6 years now. I had an unfortunate event earlier in January that broke the front suspension some on the passenger side. It also had tree branches pushing on the body panels all the way down the passenger side. I took me a little time to decide to part with it but I think its better to sell it as is and let the new owner build it the way they see fit. I took quite a few pics of all of the damages, even the ones I've repaired. At the time of the accident the front passenger wheel actually broke off the truck due to ball joints and control arms being broken/bent. I replaced both control arms and ball joints and had to make a minor modification at the front mount of the lower control arm. The rack and pinon steering device has a broken bracket but should be an easy fix. The passenger spindle tie rod knuckle also was broken off. With that being said know that the truck will not steer as of right now. The brake line to that wheel was also torn when the wheel got knocked off and I've priced that at O'reilly's and it's only $26. I did fix the control arms and ball joints in order to reattach the wheel so it could be taken home on a car hauler. We can crank it and drive it forward and backwards to see that it works but YOU CAN'T DRIVE THIS HOME, it must be trailered. There is body damage that you can also see in the pics which include front bumper, bumper cap and valance. Hood and passenger fender. Due to the damage I haven't opened the front passenger door and there are several smaller dents all the way down the passenger side. As far as body work goes, It could easily be limited to the passenger side and front depending on what the new owner wants to do. There are SS Mirrors included but the bracket for the passenger side was broken and wires cut but can easily be fixed with a new bracket. There is also a small crack in the leather on the main drivers seat. I am giving a detailed description as well as I can, I've also included 50 pictures, but please know that there may be something wrong that I may not have noticed. I can however, ASSURE you that ANYTHING I've noticed has been noted. Now for all the "Good Stuff" This truck has a full custom interior and I've won several trophies just based on the interior. Nothing has been left untouched with the leather and ostrich wrapped headliner and painted and ostrich wrapped door panels. All the way to the fully smoothed and painted front dash. All of the pillars have been painted gloss black as well as and "small" plastic trim pieces on the interior. It currently has a stock radio but it is wired completely for subs and amp complete down to 3 sets of Memphis RCA cables from the front to back. It also has a Viper 5901 Remote Start Security system installed and comes with the two-way pager system that works 1 mile away. The truck has 56k miles on it but I'm not 100% sure what the dash says since it currently has a dead battery. We will be able to charge it to crank the truck when the new owner comes to take delivery. It has a cold air intake and throttle body spacer. It has a belltech 3/5 lowering kit on it as well. The outside is almost completely shaved down to the gas door, which was relocated inside the bed. The bed is Rhino Lined but a brand called Gator Guard was used. It has a handle relocator on the tail gate and custom LED lights were used for taillights, vertically installed in the bed sides. There is a hidden receiver hitch mounted under the truck and there is a flip down tag holder to move the tag out of the way to slide in your hitch. I have towed boats and car haulers fully loaded with this truck and did fine. The rear end gears were changed out to 3.73 with chrome differential cover installed. It has the stock 20's currently installed but the front passenger wheel may need to be replaced, I'm not sure because I haven't driven it since the accident. The 3rd brake light and drip rails were also shaved. The color is House of Kolor Cobalt Kandy Blue with Orion Silver underneath and on the stripe, with OE GM Black for the lower color. I have included quite a few pictures, 50 in fact, to make sure you know what you're getting. I just figured it'd be better to sell it and let someone else fix it up the way they desire as opposed to fixing it and having to sell it at a higher price. This truck will make its new owner a great truck and it turns heads everywhere it goes. I'm just not interested in building it again since I've had it so long I've decided to move on. Title is in hand ready to sign over to the new owner. Contact me if you're serious about buying this truck. I would be interested in meeting somewhere if my deposit and gas was paid up front, I don't want distance to be the reason you don't buy if you want this truck. Due to my love for this truck I want the new owner to love it as well. This is a no reserve auction so bid to win and Good Luck bidding!! |

2015 GMC Canyon gets the party started [w/video]
Sun, 12 Jan 2014The 2014 Detroit Auto Show press days officially kick off tomorrow, but the night before all the madness commences, General Motors drove its new 2015 GMC Canyon pickup truck out for all to see. To refresh your memory, the Canyon is GMC's new midsize pickup - essentially a re-skinned version of the Chevrolet Colorado that debuted at the LA Auto Show in November.
Many of us at Autoblog prefer the look of the larger GMC Sierra to that of its Chevy Silverado kin, and we're having similar feelings about the new Canyon, especially after seeing it in person. It's sort of a pint-sized version of the Sierra, and it looks great. Clean lines are found throughout, and the Canyon's styling is decidedly premium.
At launch, the Canyon will be offered with the same engines as the Colorado - a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine with 193 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque on the base end, and a larger 3.6-liter V6 with 302 hp and 270 lb-ft as an option. The Colorado's 2.8-liter diesel inline four-cylinder will be available after launch. Both two- and four-wheel drive configurations will be available, depending on the model.

Basic configurator for 2021 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon slips online
Mon, May 18 2020TFLnow discovered basic configurators for the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon are already online at GM's site for employee discounts. These aren't the fully-featured whiz-bang configurators that will show on the retail websites soon, but they include a bunch of the relevant info a shopper would be looking for. After trim changes detailed earlier this year, the 2021 Colorado offers the most choice, even with the two-door base model gone. Cutting the entry-level Colorado also means the entry-level price has gone up by $3,900; the 2020 Colorado could be had for $22,495, but the 2021 model starts at $26,395 after the $1,195 destination charge. That gets you the extended cab with a standard bed in two-wheel drive. The 2WD crew cab with a short bed starts at $28,295, and the 2WD crew cab with a standard bed starts at $30,595. At the top end, the ZR2 model runs $44,395, which is $200 more than the 2020 version. The color palette isn't complete, but the options page shows a number of choices for packages. The Redline Special Edition Package goes up $10 to $2,690, the Tonneau and Step Package increase $100 to $1,195, a new Chrome Package puts shiny stuff in places like the door handles and steps for $300, while the Black Bowtie Emblem Package drops $80 to $140. The one-inch front leveling kit, which was thought to cost $150 based on early order information GM Authority had seen, is here listed for $450 and available on the Colorado but not the Canyon. The Canyon makes matters a tad simpler by having many options locked in depending on which one starts with — 2WD Elevation Standard starting at $27,595, 2WD Elevation for $31,195, 4WD AT4 with a cloth interior for $39,395 or AT4 with leather for $41,195, the least expensive Denali starting at $42,095 for a crew cab short box with 2WD. The Elevation includes items like the Convenience Package that are options on the base model, and also offers a $1,400 High Elevation Package conferring heated and power black leather seats, plus a heated steering wheel, that can't be optioned on the Elevation Standard. The pinnacle is the crew cab with a standard bed in Denali 4WD trim for $45,895. Colors and many of the final options and accessories, such as the AT4 Off-Road Performance Edition Package we've heard about, are also missing here, but there's heaps to play around with to get an idea of what you'll be in for if you're considering a 2021 Canyon.
