 GMC 2500 SAVANA CARGO
OFFERED BY; RODS & RIDES BY TD, LLC photo file_zps9b8a3e2a.jpg

The vehicle being offered is super clean and neat and has no known issues. It has just been traded in on another new vehicle and drives as good as it looks. We do not sell junk! Please take a look at our eBay Feedback since 2002. We describe what we sell and we strive to make people happy with there purchase.

This is a wholesale to the public NO RESERVE auction. Most dealers that trade for vehicles go through a program where the vehicle is directed through the service department before it ever is on the lot for sale. The service department normally does a full check, sometimes called a 100-point check. There are also other terms like Certified Pre-Owned and many more. During the service department visit, the service writer and the staff of technicians work very hard to find things wrong and make repairs or jobs that are not always necessary.  When this happens the typical Pre-owned vehicle can be charged $2,000-$5,000 for the service performed by these departments. There are also other charges that incur at 99% of all dealerships around the country.

List of examples that will make a vehicles price continue to go up before you ever touch or see the vehicle on a dealership lot.

- “PDR” Paintless dent repair. The average vehicle will have a few dings and the repair will be made before the vehicle is sold again.

- Window Chip, a window chip expert will make a repair and charge the dealer.

- Chip & Scratch, another person will charge the dealer for any minor chip or scratch repair.

- Interior repair, if there is a scratch or a burn or tear, these items will be fixed and repaired.

- Pinstripe, a simple pinstripe will be added and the dealer will pay to enhance the outside.

- Detail, a complete detail will be performed and charged to the vehicle.

- Dealer Pack, this is a set price that the dealer adds to every pre-owned vehicle on the lot. Most dealers will add $500-$1,500. This means the sales dept nor the sales person gets paid until after this pack has been added. The pack charge is designed to take care of the floorpalan (bank dealer interest) and insurance to inventory these vehicles. It basically protects the dealer from any loss of income while the vehicle sits there waiting to be sold.

- Certified Charge, GM, Ford, Chrysler and the rest of the manufactures offer a Certified program. The program offers dealers to sell these vehicles with extra warranty or special finance rates. These programs do nothing to the vehicle as far as making them any better condition. This is just another charge added to the vehicle to enhance specials to lure customers towards the product.

Basically what I am trying to say, the vehicle being offered has not been charged with thousands of extra dollars. What you see is what you get…. If the vehicle has a ding, scratch, or anything else, you the consumer can act as a dealer and decide if you want to make the repair or drive the vehicle as it looks.  This is what wholesale truly is about... Wholesale is normally between two dealers. One dealer can sell to another dealer and they do not charge anything extra to each other. Several people have asked me for years to sell them a vehicle in this condition to avoid adding thousands of extra dollars. Just recently, we have decided to make this a regular part of the business here at Rods & Rides By TD, LLC.

Wholesale to the public…

With that being said, I will answer a few other normal questions that seem to come up during every sale.

- Do you know if something has been performed on this vehicle? No, it was traded in and the customers do not provide this information nor would I want to take their word and pass it on. In the event it wasn’t preformed, I become the liar. I would rather tell you I honestly cant answer that.

- Do you have a CarFax? No, a simple punch of the button on this listing will provide you a detailed history report and also give you a insurance policy to guarantee the accuracy of the report with a money back guarantee.  I would suggest this to everyone purchasing a pre-owned vehicle.

- Do I ship vehicles? Yes, we handle the logistics for vehicles being shipped through out the entire world. If you would like a quote, please let me know. The cost of shipping is always at the buyer’s expense.

- Will you pick me up at the airport? Yes, we are located within minutes of the St. Louis International airport. (Call Letters STL)  I will be happy to pick anyone up before the auction ends or after.

- Can I have the vehicle looked at by a third party inspector? Yes, we encourage any inspections prior to auction end. After the sale is not the time to have a vehicle inspected.

- Do you offer financing? No, we do not have the facility or the resources to offer any financing.

- Do you accept major credit cards? Yes, we accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Cash, and Certified Bank Checks.

- Can you hold the vehicle for a month? Yes, we can hold the vehicle for an extended time but it will need to be paid in full within 7 days. If you prefer the vehicle to continue to be kept inside please ask about a possible charge for this service.

- Do you have a clean and clear title in hand? Yes, we cannot sell a vehicle without a title. We are a licensed Missouri vehicle dealer and are required to have the title in hand to sell the vehicle.  We do not sell Salvage, Rebuilt, Flood or any other type of vehicles branded….

2015 GMC Canyon is a Chevy Colorado in Sierra clothing [w/video]

Sun, 12 Jan 2014

Ford may not offer the Ranger in America anymore, nor Dodge (or Ram) its Dakota. But General Motors - not unlike Toyota with its Tacoma and Nissan with the Frontier - isn't about to give up on the midsize pickup market. Less than two months ago, it revealed the new Chevrolet Colorado, and now it's following up with its mechanical twin, the 2015 GMC Canyon.
Launched today ahead of its reveal at the Detroit Auto Show, the Canyon slots into the GMC lineup (and differentiates itself from its Chevrolet twin) with styling that closely apes the larger GMC Sierra 1500 and Sierra HD, only a size or two smaller. Oh, there are visual differences, like a subtly different grille treatment and lower fascia, but it still maintains its big brother's square-jawed good looks and rectilinear flared fenders.
Two aluminum-block engines with direct injection and variable valve timing are available: a 2.5-liter inline-four comes standard with 193 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, and a 3.6-liter V6 is available with 302 hp and 270 lb-ft. Buyers will also be able to choose between three bodystyle configurations, three trim levels and either two- or four-wheel drive. A six-speed automatic transmits the power to the road, but a six-speed manual is available on the base model with the 2.5 and 2WD, and there's an All Terrain package available on SLE models. A diesel is expected later.

The 2021 F-150 elevates Ford's bed game

Fri, Jun 26 2020

The new 2021 Ford F-150 is ushering in a new era of pickup capability, but there's more to it than the introduction of the PowerBoost hybrid. While that new powertrain is certainly the truck's headlining element, the supporting electrical architecture enables a level of utility that hasn't been offered in past consumer half-tons. The true party trick is Ford's new "Pro Power Onboard" feature, which is essentially a built-in generator that provides juice for the 2021 F-150's rather robust in-bed power station. This system is available even on gasoline-engine models, but its utility is maximized with the electrified powertrain. ICE models equipped with the option max out at 2.0 kilowatts, while the PowerBoost hybrid can be had with either a 2.4- or a whopping 7.2-kilowatt inverter.  The idea here is that the F-150 can essentially stand in for a high-output portable generator. In a worksite example provided by Ford, a PowerBoost model with the 7.2-kW upgrade and a single tank of fuel could provide 32 hours of power for an 1,800-watt compound miter saw, a 1,000W circular saw, a 1,200W battery charger, a 1,200W hammer drill, and a 1,000W air compressor with hundreds of watts to spare for lighting and other accessories. But even without the Pro Power Onboard option, Ford's new bed setup enables more versatility than in previous models. The new Tailgate Work Surface option adds a flat work area with integrated rulers, recesses for pencils or small tools, and even a stand for a personal device.  Ford is neither the first to offer an auxiliary power outlet in a half-ton pickup bed, nor was Ford the first to introduce a more feature-rich tailgate. GMC's MultiPro tailgate was a major innovation on that front, and while it is geared mostly toward improving the cargo utility of the bed, it can also be customized with 12-volt power and even an accessory speaker system. The Ram 1500 is also offered with both a multi-function tailgate and AC power in the bed, though the latter option is limited to models with the RamBox cargo package.  As half-ton pickups approach levels of towing and hauling capability that begin to blur lines with heavy-duty offerings, it's clear that automakers are looking for ways to differentiate themselves without stepping on their own bigger trucks' toes. These new bed and tailgate innovations may yet be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to full-size pickup versatility. Related Video:

GM delays 3.0-liter Duramax diesel in Silverado and Sierra pickups

Thu, May 23 2019

Stricter testing protocols around the world are making it harder for automakers to predict launch timelines. GM is the latest to get caught in emissions nettles, the Detroit carmaker forced to delay the launch of its new Duramax 3.0-liter inline-six diesel for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. That's what company reps told dealers in a memo seen by Automotive News this week. Dealers and buyers had been promised the Flint, Mich.-built oil-burner in early 2019, but AN wrote that the EPA certification hiccup has turned into a "slight delay." A GM spokesman told Motor1, "[We] did not attribute [the delay] to a single entity, as the truth is this is a collaborative effort between GM and several government entities. We will make the 2020MY Duramax available for dealers orders soon, and expect to deliver the first trucks to customers soon after emissions testing is complete." We know the new 3.0-liter Duramax diesel has 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, outdoing Ford's 3.0-liter PowerStroke diesel by 27 hp and 20 lb-ft. But without final EPA paperwork, GM can't release the numbers that will show how the two engines stack up when considering fuel economy and tow ratings. The certification process has been sticky for a few other makers of late, especially since the Volkswagen Group situation in 2015. BMW had to delay the launch of four diesel models in 2016 over EPA testing. The new Ram 1500 dribbled out in a trickle last year for reasons thought to deal with EPA testing, coming as it did a year after the EPA investigated Ram's EcoDiesel engines in 2017 and 2018. More recently, WLTP testing in Europe caught out just about every automaker over there. Since we're almost halfway through 2019, the delay until the 2020 model year is only a few months. Still, GM told dealers to cancel any orders for the engine for this model year. Dealers will need to resubmit the orders once opening begins, but GM hasn't said when production will begin other than "soon." The company said that it will offer 2020-model-year replacement vehicles to customers and dealers. If prices hold into the next model year, the 2020 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 with the inline-six diesel will come at a $3,890 premium over the 2.7-liter turbo four-cylinder, and a $2,495 premium over the 5.3-liter V8.
