Up for sale is this super clean 2007 GMC Envoy SLT 4x4 with the 4.2 Vortec engine. This vehicle looks and drives amazingly! This is vehicle is a ONE OWNER vehicle and it has no accident history on the autocheck report. Unfortunately, this vehicle was involved in fresh water flood and is being sold with a salvage title from New Jersey. We are not sure why this vehicle was branded a flood because we can see no sign of any water damage at all and the vehicle is in perfect running order with all the electronics working perfectly (see my video). Every switch and button in this car is working the way it should. There is absolutely no reason this vehicle should have been branded a salvage title.
This Envoy SLT is super clean and has an Artic White exterior with clean gray leather interior accented by wood trimming.  The leather seats are in perfect condition and they are also heated and fully powered with lumbar and memory functions.  This Envoy just turned 85k miles (which is low mileage for this vehicle) and it runs and drives fantastically. All these miles are out of state highway miles and it shows. The drive is so smooth and comfortable, its like floating on a cloud. Every feature in the car is working the way it should including the A/C. The air conditioning in this car is ICE cold and the heat is as hot as you could want it. This vehicle is ready for its new owner and needs nothing at all done to it. This is a nice example of what a luxury 4x4 SUV should be. Its comfortable, loaded up, and looks great! And it has all the luxury options that you could possibly ask for.
This GMC is loaded up with every possible option. It has full leather interior with heated seats and memory positions, DVD player, rear entertainment system with fold down tv, rear air conditioning, rear audio controls, running boards, luggage rack, all wheel drive package, glass moonroof, Indash CD player, upgraded sound system, ONstar vehicle link, garage door openers,  xenon headlights, polished alloy wheels, fog lamps, steering wheels controls, factory alarm system.
This Envoy comes with the original GMC key. We also have all the original owners manuals and booklets and the complete toolkit and jack. The spare tire is also present as well.
This vehicle was very well cared for and it shows. The maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is reliable and runs like a dream. We have driven it 800 miles and it seems to be running and driving 100%. You can literally jump in this vehicle and drive it 2,000 miles back home without any problems. We changed all the motor and transmission fluids and the vehicle has good brakes, god rotors, and good windshield wiper blades. There is nothing to pick on with this vehicle, it runs like a new vehicle!
The exterior of the vehicle is super clean. The paint is nice and glossy and all the body lines are perfect and straight. This vehicle also appears to be an all original accident free vehicle. This vehicle is in great condition in my opinion and you can tell it was very well cared for. Its hard to find these cars in this shape with all these options. This is no-doubt the best one you will find.
The interior of the vehicle is also super clean. The seats have no cracks or rips and the leather is very firm and supple. The dash and door panels are also very nice and clean.  All the wood trimmings and other interior trims are in perfect condition. The interior is perfect condition in my opinion.
This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage title. It is the buyers responsibility to know the laws and requirements for registering a salvage vehicle in their state. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me in advance. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. My name is Joe and my number is 347-961-1194. Thanks and good luck bidding!

Torque time | 2017 GMC Sierra HD First Drive

Fri, Feb 24 2017

It's not the truck that counts, it's how you use it. It's the heavy stuff you fit in its bed or the extremely heavy stuff that gets hooked up to the tow hitch. The ATV, the Jet Skis, the trailer with more square footage than a Greenwich Village apartment. Perhaps you need to get Seabiscuit or, uh, Mr. Ed to wherever they need to gallop next. In our case, there's a pair of very serious-looking snowmobiles perched atop the bed of a GMC Sierra. They spread out as wide as the extended tow mirrors, and their back halves are dangling precariously beyond the truck. Sterling Archer would be giddy; I'm a little nervous. But only because canyon roads and wide vehicles with a high center of gravity go together like peas and custard. The added weight is no sweat at all. That's because this is the 2017 GMC Sierra HD Denali, a truck with the sort of enhanced power, torque, suspension, and stopping capability expected of a heavy-duty pickup. And for this year, the power and torque get a serious bump courtesy of a new 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine reengineered from almost the ground up with 90 percent new parts. It's quieter and more efficient and it emits less, while most importantly producing 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. That's up from 397 and 765, respectively. Chevy fans will note that the same engine is also available in the updated 2017 Silverado HD. Now, for those keeping score at home, that horsepower is best-in-class but the torque number still falls short of the new Ford Super Duty and its Power Stroke diesel V8's 925 lb-ft. Aw shucks. For the record, GM's engineers didn't seem too concerned that they weren't able to eke out an extra 16 torques just to say they're No. 1. "We wanted to first meet emissions and then deliver the maximum horsepower and torque we could, and deliver it over the widest usability range possible," said chief engineer Eric Stanczak. And let's be honest here, 910 pound-feet is herculean, and once again, a jump of 145 lb-ft. Or one Subaru Impreza's worth. Or 110 more than the best Ram can do on a 2500, and its Cummins turbodiesel's 800 pound-feet was eye-popping not too long ago. (The Ram 3500 maxes out at 900 lb-ft with the right transmission.) Ah, but here's the rub. That Cummins-equipped Ram 2500 can still tow more weight according to SAE-compliant measurements – 17,510 pounds for a Ram crew cab with a short bed versus 13,000 in the similar Sierra 2500. The Ford F-250 can manage 15,000.

GM appears to repurpose Saturn Outlook parts on new Acadia

Thu, 09 Feb 2012

General Motors unveiled the company's refreshed GMC Acadia at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show yesterday, and if you were paying attention, you may have noticed something curious about the vehicle. While the new Acadia looks considerably better than its predecessor, a few components of the design looked more than a little familiar. Upon closer observation, it appears that GM has simply repurposed elements of the now defunct Saturn Outlook crossover on the 2013 Acadia. Both vehicles seem to share the same wrap-around rear glass, back hatch, tail light openings and exaggerated, squared-off fender arches.
While the vehicles are differentiated by badging, tail lamps and a rear valance, there's no denying the similarities toward the vehicle's rear. Up front, both share similar fenders, though adjustments have been made for the varying headlight designs.
That's good news if you just can't imagine life without the Saturn Outlook.

NHTSA investigates 1.7 million GM SUVs for windshield wiper failures

Tue, Nov 6 2018

WASHINGTON - The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Tuesday it is investigating whether General Motors should recall an additional 1.7 million sport utility vehicles due to an issue with windshield wiper failures. GM in August 2016 recalled 367,800 2013 GMC Terrain and Chevrolet Equinox SUVs in the United States to address the problem. But after receiving 249 complaints about similar problems, the federal agency said it is probing whether the recall should be expanded to include an additional 1.7 million vehicles from the 2010-2016 model years. The automaker said it is cooperating with the NHTSA review. GM said it recalled the 2013 GMC Terrain and Chevrolet Equinox SUVs "because warranty data showed a higher-than-expected failure rate," adding it has continued to monitor field data on other model years of those vehicles. GM noted that no crashes or injuries related to the issue have been reported. The Detroit-based automaker said the recalls were prompted after a GM Canada brand quality manager reported a potential safety issue relating to reports of windshield wiper failures in Canada through GM's "Speak Up For Safety," program in late 2015. The data showed significantly higher field incidents in parts of Canada, which prompted a June 2016 recall there. Over the next two months, a higher number of U.S. reports prompted a U.S. recall, the company added. In the 2016 recall, GM said the front-wiper module would be replaced with a module that has a water deflector and, if needed, dealers would fill the water management hole and drill a new small hole in a different location.(Reporting by David Shepardson, editing by G Crosse)Related Video: Government/Legal Recalls Chevrolet GM GMC SUV
