This item up for sale is a 1998 GMC Envoy. The engine starts right up and runs perfectly smooth. This vehicle has the reliable GM 4.3L V6 OHV 12V FI Engine that is well known for lasting a very long time. You will see some cars with this type of engine for sale with well over 200,000 miles on them. This SUV has also had over a thousand dollars of work put into it to restore it as follows and I also have all the paperwork included to show all the parts purchased and repairs completed. The windshield and wipers are brand new with out one single mile driven on them yet.

The entire rear braking system has been replaced on the rear axle.The backing plate, the rear calipers, The horse shoe brake pad, all the springs, hoses, screws, everything from the axle out is brand new in the rear.

Both front brake calipers, rotors, and pads on both front wheels are new.

Monroe MAX-Air rear adjustable height shocks installed.

Cap, ignition rotor, PCV valve, Fuel filter and spark plugs changed.

Evaporative Emission canister controller and Fuel pressure regulator replaced.

The head light assembly has been rebuilt and the original HID lights have been removed. New bulb sockets have been installed and the plastic has been resurfaced and polished back to almost new condition.

Both side mirrors have been replaced with new ones.

GM expected to debut two new crossovers at Detroit Auto Show

Next month, General Motors is expected to debut two new crossovers at the North American International Auto Show. That's according to Automotive News and The Wall Street Journal, which reports that the successors to the aging Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Terrain will finally make their debut. The two crossovers have been on sale since 2009 and 2010 respectively and are due for updates as the competition has newer models on the market. Both crossovers play in growing market segments where sales success is crucial for the respective brands. GM, and the automotive industry as a whole, has been shifting its focus towards crossovers in the last few years. The Traverse and the Terrain are some of the oldest SUVs on the market and are in dire need of an update. GMC's Acadia, the former corporate clone to the Traverse (and Buick Acadia), switched to a new platform in 2016. And the Terrain's platform-mate, the Chevrolet Equinox, was revealed a few months ago. Both the new Chevy and GMC models are expected to go on sale late in 2017 as 2018 models. Look for a follow up to the Traverse's sister, the Buick Enclave, to make an appearance soon. GM recalling 686k Lambda-platform models for hatch repair

General Motors is recalling 686,287 units of its Lambda platform crossovers. On models equipped with a power rear hatch the system can potentially fail. This campaign includes the 2008-2012 Buick Enclave, 2009-2012 Chevrolet Traverse, 2007-2012 GMC Acadia, and 2007-2010 Saturn Outlook. According to GM's documents to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (as a PDF), dirt can get into a portion of the strut that holds up the hatch and cause the part to prematurely fail. There's a redundancy in place called the Prop Rod Recovery system that's designed to shut the liftgate if there's a malfunction. However, if the breakdown happens too quickly after the hatch is opened the prop rod might not work the way it's supposed to. If someone were in the way of the falling liftgate, they could be hurt. For the repair, dealers will update the software for the power liftgate actuator motor control unit to prevent the hatch from closing so quickly. They'll also check the operation of the system afterward. The affected vehicles, equipped with the power liftgate option, have gas struts that hold the power liftgate up when open. These struts may prematurely wear and the open liftgate may suddenly fall. CONSEQUENCE: If the open liftgate unexpectedly falls, it may strike a person, increasing their risk of injury. REMEDY: GM will notify owners, and dealers will update the software for the power liftgate actuator motor control unit so that the motor will prevent the rapid closing of the lift gate, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.
