2012 GMC TERRAIN SLE
The approx. 21,950 miles are the actual miles (car is driven a few miles daily, so may have a few more miles if you wait til' the end of the auction instead of Buy-It-Now). SUV was mostly driven Interstate/highway around the Las Vegas/Southern Nevada area. This SUV is not only super comfortable, but is also absolutely reliable (and it was regularly serviced according to recommended GMC service/maintenance schedule at the authorized GMC dealer), and it is also very economical with gas mileage of approx. 32 mpg highway.

The technical condition of this SUV is excellent, ... everything works as it should (power windows, power seats, power mirrors, automatic rearview dimming mirror, power lumbar support, etc.) it's a daily driver. Also, the appearance looks luxurious, classy and just sharp. This SUV has been always garaged. Tires are 4 matching Firestone tires which all have very good tread.

This exceptional GMC Terrain SLE has an absolutely Clean Carfax and Clean Autocheck. Just like the exterior, also the interior is extra nice and clean, and really looks almost like new (hardly any use of the passenger seat and the back seats, these also look virtually like new).

All fluid changes were done, the engine runs very smooth as it should and the transmission shifts perfectly as it should throughout all gears. The car looks and drives extra nice and is quiet and there are no rattles, no noises, etc. ... it's just a very nice SUV.
Everything works on this car as it should. All power options are in perfect working order including the keyless remotes (car comes with 2 keys which have integrated remotes), CD Player, Steering Wheel controls including cruise control and audio controls as well as telephone bluetooth controls. There are no leaks and the AC is ice cold and the heater works also perfectly.

The Carfax and Autocheck are clean and perfect.
(All original books/manuals are on hand in the glove compartment).

The exterior color looks majestic and the color combination with the black sports cloth with the GMC red stitching looks really sharp.

This car is in excellent like-new condition, both inside and out, and it is loaded with features. As you see in the photos, the paint has a nice finish, and since only a driver sat in a seat, the other seats are virtually unused. There are NO dents, NO scratches, NO imperfections, etc., ... just like the day it rolled off the showroom floor.

The engine and transmission operate very smoothly with plenty of power and torque.

All four wheels are in great condition (no curb rush, etc., ... all wheels are in like-new condition) and they have 4 matching Firestone tires.

GM doubles miles open to its Super Cruise technology

DETROIT — General Motors said on Wednesday owners of certain vehicles equipped with its Super Cruise assisted driving system will now be able to use it on 400,000 miles (643,740 km) of North American roads, doubling the current operating area as Tesla and other automakers race to deploy hands-free cruising technology. GM's Super Cruise system, like Tesla's Autopilot system, is a driver assistance system, and does not enable true autonomous driving. Spurred by Tesla's aggressive deployment of Autopilot, and Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk's promises of a more advanced "Full Self Driving" system, GM, Ford, Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz are racing to deploy competing partial automation technology in major markets. At the same time, safety regulators are showing concern that drivers do not understand that Autopilot and similar systems are not designed to take over driving in every circumstance. The GM system's sensors and software allow a motorist to cruise with hands off the wheel on highways that have been mapped in detail. But the driver is expected to stay alert and ready to take over the car. GM uses technology to monitor the driver, and Super Cruise will sound alarms or slow the car to a stop if it detects that a driver is not responding. Starting later this year, GM plans to enable vehicles equipped with Super Cruise and the company's latest vehicle electronic system to operate hands-free on major, undivided highways in the United States and Canada, as well as additional miles of divided, interstate highways. Currently, Super Cruise operates only on interstate, divided highways. The expansion, enabled by wider digital mapping, will allow owners of properly equipped GM vehicles to cruise hands-free on stretches of Route 66 and the Pacific Coast Highway in the U.S. West or the Trans-Canada highway in Western Canada, GM said. Many of the new roads GM has mapped are in rural, heartland states where GM pickup trucks are popular. GM plans to offer Super Cruise as an option on its Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra large pickups later this year. GM has said previously it intends to offer Super Cruise as an option on 22 models by the end of 2023. Depending on the model, Super Cruise costs $2,200 to $2,500 to add as an option. Chevy Trax engineer says GMC version possible

The Buick Encore is doing so well and its platform-mate the Chevrolet Trax has such good reviewer vibes going for it already, that a GMC version hasn't been ruled out. During the recent press launch, Automotive News asked lead engineer Al Manzor if the Trax could wear a GMC-branded suit, to which Manzor replied, "I think that is certainly possible." That's a long way from telling us anything about the probability of a GMC version of the Trax, and a legion of questions would need to be answered before it could happen. How would a GMC version be priced to leave room for the $26,465 GMC Terrain but not eat into sales of the $20,995 Trax or the $24,035 Encore? Or would that matter? Could it primarily be considered to encourage a new faction of The Yukon Set at the compact end, GMC buyers being famously committed to the marque? And of course, would there be a Denali version? It'll probably be a long while before we have any kind of answers, but if you want to see it happen, the door to your campaign of persuasion is at least ajar.

GMC wants to target Jeep with compact crossover

GMC execs might consider adding a Jeep competitor to the range, but rather than new rumors of a Wrangler-fighter, this time the Professional Grade brand could go after the Renegade. Division boss Duncan Aldred would like to broaden the brand's lineup with a subcompact crossover. "I keep telling everyone, 'How can General Motors' truck brand not be in the fastest-growing segment in the industry, an SUV segment," he said to Automotive News but wouldn't confirm whether the model was under development. General Motors already offers small crossovers like the Chevrolet Trax and Buick Encore, but the CUV segment in general continues to drive auto sales in the US. Adding a similarly sized GMC to the mix might increase the automaker's volume by appealing to different customers. "A GMC buyer is very different from a Buick buyer. This is like comparing the Fiat 500X to the Jeep Renegade. They are very similar but appeal to different people," Dave Sullivan, Product Analysis Manager at AutoPacific, told Autoblog. Aldred started the speculation about a Wrangler-fighting model in an interview in late 2014, and the company reportedly even raised the idea of an offroad-focused vehicle to dealers to see how they reacted. The development process was only in the very early planning stages, but the brand considered using Hummer for a little of the new product's inspiration. Aldred later suggested to journalists the possibility of adding a compact or midsize SUV to the GMC range in the next 10 years to appeal to more buyers. He didn't comment directly on the possibility of the Wrangler-challenger at the time beyond saying: "I can't confirm that ... everything's on the table." Related Video:
