My eMail : MazieSzmalcftfc@yahoo.com This is a 1989 GMC Jimmy Sierra SLE I currently use as mydaily driver. It runs great and I would drive it anywhere. It has a fuelinjected 350 with a 700r aoutmatic transmission and a np241 transfer case. Thistruck is in amazing condition considering its age and I love it very much, itjust isn't practical for me because I need more space in the back, and Iwant something 2wd that I can throw a 383 in with a 5 speed manual transmission.Like a 80s suburban. There is no rust anywhere on this truck except for underthe battery and the tailgate. It has new paint. The motor has ZERO oil leaks dueto how little the mileage is on this truck. At some point someone put a b&mfloor shifter in it but if that is a issue for you a can get a new steeringcolum and put it in. The front windows will need new motors in them but thetailgate window motor works fine. The a/c works but it needs to be charged withR12. This truck only has 45,000 Original miles on it. The first owner had it upuntil two years ago and it was only used to haul his boat, which was not often,then a young man bought it and had wheels put on it and had it painted, but hewas afraid to drive it because he did not want to "mess it up". In January Ibought it and have driven it every day since then. I am very happy with it, butI want something that can get my blood pumping. Anyways thanks for looking

GM recalling Silverado and Sierra HD diesel pickups over fuel gauge follies
Fri, 03 Jan 2014General Motors is recalling 9,733 of its heavy-duty twins over concerns with their 6.6-liter diesel engines and dual fuel tanks. The recall covers some Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD pickups from model years 2012 and 2013, although the exact dates that the recalled trucks were built isn't specified. There's also no mention of how many models come from Chevrolet and how many are from GMC.
The problem rests with the transfer pump responsible for moving fuel from the rear tank to the front tank - it could fail, resulting in an inaccurate fuel gauge. It hardly requires explaining, but a faulty fuel gauge could leave drivers in a situation where they run out of diesel.
GM will begin notifying customers of affected vehicles, who will be asked to report to their dealers for a free replacement transfer pump.
GMC's electric, 1,000-horsepower Hummer SUV makes a surprise appearance
Fri, Nov 20 2020We knew the GMC Hummer pickup would spawn an SUV, but we didn't expect to see it so soon. It quietly appeared in a marketing presentation about electric cars that General Motors streamed online in November 2020. The camera never focused on the SUV, there was always an executive sitting in front of it, but we see enough to tell it's closely related to its pickup sibling. Both battery-powered off-roaders are nearly identical from the tip of the front bumper to the edge of the rear doors. The SUV's overhang is a little bit shorter than the pickup's, though there's presumably space for a third row of seats. Its rear end doesn't appear in the presentation. Nothing suggests GMC made major powertrain changes to the SUV, so it's likely identical to the truck underneath the sheetmetal. Range-topping models will receive three motors zapped into motion by a 24-module Ultium battery pack. Motorists will have 1,000 horsepower and approximately 350 miles of driving range to play with. GMC plans to start building the Hummer pickup in late 2021, and the SUV might not enter production until early 2022. We expect pricing will initially start above $100,000, but more affordable variants will gradually join the lineup during the first half of the 2020s. When it lands, the off-roader will compete directly against the Rivian R1S. General Motors will invest $27 billion into electric and autonomous cars by 2023. Its portfolio of EVs will also include a Silverado-sized pickup, a crossover based on the Bolt, and a high-end Cadillac crossover named Lyriq. "We want to be number one in EVs in North America," affirmed company boss Mary Barra.
