2007 GMC Envoy Denali 2WD


We are reluctantly selling our beloved Envoy only because we are a growing family with a third child on the way and need something with more room and a 3rd row of seats.  We bought this Envoy from a Hendrick dealership in Raleigh, NC as a GMC Certified vehicle in February of 2010.  We bought it with 51,000 miles, and it now has slightly over 80,000 miles on the clock.  Overall this Envoy is in very good and clean condition and everything works as it should.  There are no stories, issues, dash lights, etc. with this Envoy.  It has only a few very minor scratches to the paint, the worst of which is shown in the picture (front left bumper).  It has many options being the top of the line trim level for the model, however it does not have the factory navigation or 4WD.  It came standard with GM's 5.3 liter V8 with cylinder deactivation which allows the engine to run on only 4 cylinders under light highway loads to help fuel mileage.  I usually get around 16-17 MPG around town and 19-20 MPG on the highway.  22 on the highway is very possibly if you stay at or below the speed limit.  It is Sirius/XM and Onstar ready, however we do not currently have a service subscription for either.  We have taken very good care of this vehicle, and it shows with a file full of paperwork and receipts, including all the paperwork from our purchase and all service since.  We also have both sets of keys and remotes, and all original books and manuals come with the car.  Tires are matching Michelins that I would estimate have approx. 1 year life remaining or 12,000 miles.

GM CEO Barra says 'we are selling every truck we can build'

DETROIT — General Motors Chief Executive Mary Barra said on Monday the automaker is "selling every truck we can build" and expanding North American truck-building capacity, even as U.S. gasoline prices hit record highs. Barra made her comments during the automaker's annual shareholder meeting. GM is pursuing a two-track strategy: Investing heavily in electric vehicles for North America, China and other markets, and funding those investments by trying to maximize profits from its North American combustion pickup truck and large SUV lineups. Barra said GM is planning higher-priced versions of its Silverado large pickup and its large SUV models. GM and its Detroit rivals Ford Motor Co and Stellantis NV rely heavily on sales of large pickup trucks and SUVs for global profits. High U.S. gasoline prices in the past have undermined consumer demand for relatively inefficient models. Nominal pump prices hit an average of above $5 a gallon for the first time ever last week, the federal government said Friday. GM is ramping up production of EVs. Barra said the Cadillac Lyriq electric sport utility is sold out through 2023. In response to shareholder questions, Barra said the "clear priority" for using cash generated by its operations is to "accelerate our EV plans." She did not rule out share buybacks or other approaches to returning cash to shareholders. GM still expects to increase production this year by 25-30%, despite continuing pressure on semiconductor supplies globally. Barra said GM is working to redesign vehicles to reduce the number of processors required by 95%. Barra serves as GM's board chair and CEO. GM shareholders overwhelmingly rejected a proposal to separate those roles.

Porsche and Buick earn top honors in J.D. Power Sales Satisfaction Index Study

Customer satisfaction with car buying has been at a low point over the past few years, as price increases, inventory shortages, and COVID restrictions have complicated every part of the process. There are signs of improvement, however, as J.D. Power’s 2023 U.S. Sales Satisfaction Index Study showed that customer satisfaction has improved slightly from a year ago. J.D. Power rates satisfaction on a 1,000-point scale, finding that it improved seven points to 793 from last year. Improving inventory levels and a slow leveling off of prices have contributed to that improvement, and fewer people are paying above MSRP for new cars. Some auto brands performed better than others with sales satisfaction. Porsche ranked highest among premium brands, followed by Alfa Romeo. Buick took the top spot among mass-market brands, with GMC, Chevrolet, and Mitsubishi behind. J.D.
