Up for auction is a 1982 Ford Thunderbird Town Landau with 77,000 original miles on it.The car starts up nicely and drives well, it shifts as it should, and its quiet, it could run a little smoother and if I were keeping it I would rebuild the carburetor. The car is in good condition with mostly original paint, driver rear fender and part of the driver door were painted quite a while ago and it is peeling and there is some surface rust underneath in a few spots , the rest of the paint is very good . The car has a few dings and dents. Interior is in very good condition ,headliner was redone, car has tilt, cruise, power windows (they work) power seat and locks, A/C was converted a few years ago but is not blowing cold now, tires have good tread but are old. The car is located in Hauppauge , Long Island ,New York .I have a transport trailer and car transport the car for you for a discounted rate within a few states of New York. 2015 Ford C-Max gets a corporate nose job [w/video]
Thu, 02 Oct 2014Ford might not have the splashiest booth here at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, but the automaker is showing off quite a bit of hardware that will actually end up on roads across Europe. Parisians are no doubt tickled at getting to see the specifications of the Mustang tuned for The Continent (which has a revised suspension for European roads, and a few visual nips and tucks), in addition to the revised face of the family-friendly C-Max.
As you can see, C-Max styling has been revisited with a deft touch, grafting Ford's six-sided corporate grille on the nose, in place of the outgoing car's two-part affair. New headlights can also be found on the car's revised front fascia, though the rear end of the C-Max looks only slightly different than the current version.
Inside the cabin, Ford has consolidated controls and upped the ante in terms of material quality, with "black satin" and chrome details and more storage capacity, overall. Grocery-lugging moms and dads everywhere should appreciate the hands-free liftgate feature, as well.

Ford Mustang EcoBoost has fake engine soundtrack
Wed, 24 Sep 2014The 2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost represents a huge change for the Blue Oval as the first pony car in decades to be available with a four-cylinder engine. But a recent tweet (below) from Road & Track raised our curiosity about the new vehicle. Editor Jason Cammisa pulled a fuse while driving the latest 'Stang with the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, and he found that both the stereo and engine went quiet in the cabin. That indicated the coupe might have some form of artificial engine sound being piped in - a feature not previously heavily reported for the model. Autoblog spoke with Ford engineer Shawn Carney who confirmed that only the turbocharged four-cylinder Mustang comes with this system, called Active Noise Control.
