Two items missing, drivers side headlight bezel and emblem from drivers seat, everythiung else right down to the spare tire wingnut is there. Car was bought off Ebay as a donor but condition was too good to be cut up for parts, so here it is. Has new starter, starter selonoid and voltage regulator in the trunk. Has 390 installed, but motor is siezed and will not turn. Body has filler in some areas but seems to have metal underneath when I picked at it. Also have a replacement panel for air conditioner that has good facepanel. We went no further than trying to get the motor to turn. When we hooked up battery, nothing. Started to replace electrical components to find fault, but attention now being spent on new MOPAR find and we are getting out of the Ford business. Additional pictures if needed. Car is sold as is and no warranty implied or given. This is a project and will need to be rebuilt. Have original steel wheels and hub caps also."

Car was originally a gold/tan.  Has been painted (poorly) black.  The black paint comes off with a power washer.  Also has filler present at drivers side behind front wheel and at door sill.  Some rust thru at rear drivers side lip to wheel well.  Chrome mouldings are in excellent condition, inside and out.  Fron bumper would need to be rechromed, but rear is good.  Grill needs to be straighened but all there.  Floorpans appear solid and look good underneath.  Trunk is solid.  One strut for hood needs to be replaced.  I have tried to be as honest about the condition as possible.  I was misled when I bought the car and have no intention of following suit.  It is what it is, a great classic ready to be restored, or a really good donor for an existing project.  I will answer any questions a best I can and take any picture you would like to see.  Car is also for sale locally and I have right to end auction early if it sells.isting project.

Next Ford F-150 delayed for aluminum body panel issues?

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

The timetable for next-generation Ford F-150 may be in trouble if a report from The Truth About Cars is true. The next F-150 is slated to make extensive use of weight-saving aluminum in its body, but the aluminum alloy provided by suppliers hasn't met Ford's requirements in the earliest phases of pre-production, according to the report.
The F-150 represents a huge portion of Ford's profits and is the best-selling truck in the US, even in the face of increased pressure from cross-town rivals General Motors and Ram. While the current truck is treading water against its competition, we'd be lying if we said the F-150 weren't growing quite long in the tooth.
If production of the next-generation of the Ford cash cow, said to be based on the Atlas Concept from the 2013 Detroit Auto Show (pictured above), is delayed, it could be bad for Ford. Production at Ford's Dearborn Truck Plant is already set to be delayed six to ten weeks, missing an internal on-sale deadline of Memorial Day.

Meet Floyd Pullin, 102-year-old honorary president of Ford trucks [w/video]

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

When we talk about trucks we often talk about how loyal truck owners are; it's men like Floyd Pullin who provide the proof. The 102-year-old man from Confluence, Pennsylvania has only owned Ford products since the 1920s, and he's done so well by Ford Trucks that the division named him honorary president for a day, not long after he took delivery of his latest ride, a 2013 F-150 STX.
That's the 16th Ford he's owned. If he bought his first when he was 16, he'd have flipped into a new car or truck about every five years. For 86 years. Not a bad run of business for either side.
Ford Trucks made a video to wish Pullin a happy birthday, which was celebrated at his local Ford dealership and was visited by a Pennsylvania state senator. You can watch it below.

2015 Ford Mustang vs. Camaro and Challenger [w/poll]

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

The horsepower wars are tightening among the Detroit Three, as the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger are getting bigger, more powerful, and yes, more fuel efficient.
That came into sharper focus this week as more information was revealed about the most insane Challenger ever - the 707-horsepower Hellcat - followed quickly by Ford's in-depth showcase of the 2015 Mustang in Dearborn.
It's shaping up to be a golden age for enthusiasts, and what's under the hood is becoming more important than ever.
