Numbers matching, mostly original 1960 Thunderbird hardtop with Antique Gold Metallic body and Creme Brulee top. I am the second owner and did the body work and repaint. In the sun, like pictures, it pops. In the shade it looks like root beer (dark).

Original 352 motor (not totally rebuilt but torn apart and checked for problems) and Fordomatic trans. The longest trip I've taken it on is Watsonville, CA to Sacramento in summer and it ran like a dream. It cruises down the highway at 70 with no problem and gets tons of looks.

All the trim is on except the drip rail stainless because I couldn't get it back on after paint, but I have it in my shed. Bumpers look real good but rear has some sand marks about 2 inches long and a silver dollar sized dent. Front is real nice except one bumper guard has been pinched and pushed in the grill a bit. Look at the pictures to see.

Seats have normal wear and tear for 20 year old upholstery job. Headliner could be changed as it is original.

Power steering, power brakes, and power windows. The door windows work except but the passenger back window won't budge and the driver back window has to pushed on while hitting the switch to go down.

I'm an honest and up-front guy, so ask all the questions you want.

I am also open to trades or partial trades if you are local to SF Bay Area or Sacramento.

Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is a lean, mean, Z/28-fighting machine [w/video]

If there's one thing you can count on, it's that the renewed rivalry between the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro will never, ever cease. For every version of Ford's pony car, there's an equally potent Chevrolet. And so with the debut of the Camaro Z/28 earlier this year, Ford has responded with a track-focused 'Stang of its own, resurrecting the Shelby GT350 name.
It looks to be a fine piece of work, this Mustang, with power coming from a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V8 that will produce "more than 500 horsepower" and "above 400" pound-feet of torque. That grunt runs to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, and a Torsen limited-slip differential keeps everything in line.
But that's hardly the most impressive piece of the GT350 puzzle. Ford has increased the Mustang GT's chassis stiffness for duty here in the Shelby, and the coupe employs MagneRide damping which automatically adjusts based on road conditions and driver inputs. It's a first both for the Blue Oval and for the segment. And speaking of firsts, the GT350 uses a flat-plane crankshaft - something Ford has never included in a production V8 before.

Ford Mustang hit by Moore' Oklahoma's EF5 tornado lives to do another burnout

Oklahoma recently saw the destructive power of an EF5 tornado, but in the aftermath of the devastation, we've also been witness to the incredible resilience of the human spirit. Moore, OK resident Jack Haden survived the storm but found that his 2003 Ford Mustang wasn't quite as lucky. As you can see in the image above, the tornado's 200+ mph winds did quite a number on the car, but while most people would have likely called their insurance company and scrapped the car, Haden had other plans.
After finding the car and seeing that its V6 still fired up, Haden spent a couple hours getting the car, um... roadworthy(?)... by removing the doors and front clip, cutting off the roof and putting on some new wheels and tires. He noticed that driving it around brought some comic relief to an area that needed a reason to laugh and smile. 2015 Ford F-150 enters production

Ford has given the F-150 a dramatic makeover for 2015, switching to an aluminum body that helps reduce weight by about 700 pounds. Because the truck is dramatically different, Ford also had to change the way it makes the F-150, so we went inside its sprawling factory in Dearborn, MI, this week to see the Blue Oval's new manufacturing techniques in action.
The company has added 850 jobs at the site and upgraded its stamping and tool and die facilities. The body shop is also modernized, and it has been fitted with 500 new robots that join the structures together. The first 2015 F-150 rolled off the line on Tuesday, and the trucks will begin arriving in dealerships in December. Get a closer look at the F-150's unique assembly process in our video.
