2008 FORD TAURUS SEL THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION AND I WILL NOT SELL THIS LOCALLY UNTIL THIS AUCTION ENDS! THIS 2008 FORD TAURUS SEL WAS PURCHASED IN JULY FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WITH 127000 ON IT AND A BAD ENGINE. I PURCHASED AN ENGINE FOR A 2010 TAURUS WITH 214 MILES ON IT. CAR HAS SINCE BEEN DRIVEN ABOUT 1,200 MILES WITH NEW ENGINE. OIL WAS CHANGED AFTER DRIVEN 500 MILES. THIS CAR IS IN BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT WITH ALL THE SEL OPTIONS, ALMOST NEW TIRES, POWER ADJUSTING BRAKE PEDAL, AUTO-OFF HEADLIGHTS, SUNROOF, KEYLESS ENTRY, POWER HEATED MIRRORS, ETC. COMES WITH TWO SETS OF KEYS AND BOOK. HAS A FEW LITTLE SCRATCHES HERE AND THERE (SHOWN IN PICTURES) BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT IS BASICALLY A NEW CAR. THE MILEAGE ON THE BODY SEEMS LIKE NOTHING SINCE THE CAR IS IN SUCH GOOD CONDITION. BACK SEAT IS GIGANTIC AND LOOKS LIKE NO IT WAS NOT USED MUCH AT ALL. DRIVER'S FLOOR MAT COULD USE TO BE CHANGED AND IT IS AFTER ALL 5 YEARS OLD, SO IT IS NOT PERFECT. THIS CAR IS VERY SOLID AND GREAT FOR HIGHWAY DRIVING. GAS MILEAGE IS DECENT AT AROUND 20-25 MPG. SELLING ONLY BECAUSE I NEEDED IT FOR DRIVING AROUND TOWN AND THE MERCURY MILAN I JUST BOUGHT SERVES ME BETTER BEING QUICKER AND MORE AGILE. PLEASE EMAIL FOR ANY QUESTIONS AND ANYONE LOCAL IS WELCOME TO COME TEST DRIVE IT BEFORE BUYING. LOCATED IN STROUDSBURG, PA. WILL COME WITH ALL RECEIPTS SINCE I'VE OWNED IT, MAINLY RECEIPT FOR ENGINE ($1,200) SHOWING 214 MILES, DETAILING WORK AND RECEIPT FROM SAFELITE FOR A SMALL CHIP THAT WAS ON THE WINDSHIELD THEY FIXED. PLEASE EMAIL FOR ADDITIONAL PICTURES OR WITH ANY QUESTIONS! |

Ford offering emergency strobes on Super Duty trucks [w/video]
Tue, Apr 28 2015If you're driving a Ford Super Duty, chances are you've got a job to do. It could be construction or maintenance, or it could be something big you're hauling, but either way, you may need to warn others in the vicinity that you're on the job. Which is why Ford is now offering strobe warning lights on its F-Series Super Duty trucks. The $700 option includes a pair of amber LED strobe lights on the hood (by the base of the windshield), another pair at the back on either side of the high-mounted stop light, and a trim panel with four switches on the center stack inside. The equipment can be factory-installed or dealer-installed after sale, are covered by warranty, require no drilling for installation (to reduce risk of corrosion), are programmable in different patterns and can be seen from up to a mile away at night or a thousand feet during the day. 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is coming, and it's trivia time | Autoblog Podcast #629
Fri, May 29 2020In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder and Associate Editor Byron Hurd. The big news this week is the new Mustang Mach 1 that Ford teased as a new track toy. John has been driving a Subaru Outback alongside their long-term Forester. Byron has been enjoying a Jeep Gladiator. Greg has been piloting a Toyota Corolla Hatchback as well as a new Highlander. Greg tries to stump the other editors with some automotive trivia — see if you can answer (no cheating) in the comments section below. Then they talk about car movies they've been watching during quarantine and their favorite orphan car brands. Finally, they help a listener in The Netherlands pick a new electric crossover. Got any automotive trivia questions you want to hear on the podcast? Some (in)famous figure in the industry, a random fact about a car or a brand, racing history ... it can be straightforward or totally off-the-wall. Send those — along with your Spend My Money requests — to Podcast@Autoblog.com. The hottest modern sports cars rendered as rally racers
Thu, Jan 14 2016The modern-day World Rally Championship a monumental amount of fun to watch – I should know, as I recently was lucky enough to head to the UK to watch WRC Wales Rally GB – but even the most monstrous of the current WRC cars are based on fairly pedestrian European hatchbacks. Back in the heyday of rally, the Group B era in the 1980s, much hotter cars were the basis of even more incredible competition machines, for the most part. Take the exotic Ford RS200, or the Lancia Delta S4 with its twin-charged engine. And the hatchback-based Group B cars were bonkers, too. So what would some of our favorite modern cars look like if Group B had never ended? A British site named CarWow hired an artist to reimagine everything from the Rolls-Royce Wraith to the Porsche 911 as a retro-inspired rally car, and they were kind enough to let us share the results in the gallery above. The gallery features an Alfa Romeo Giulia in Martini livery, an Audi TT in classic Ur-Quattro colors, a Fiat 500 Abarth sporting massive flares and a hood blister full of auxiliary lights, a new Ford Mustang in RS200 livery, a Lancia Delta in Alitalia colors, a Porsche 911 in Rothmans livery, a Renault-Alpine in classic blue, a Rolls-Royce Wraith tribute to the Jules cologne Corniche Coupe, and a relatively modern-looking VW Touran. So far, the favorite around the office is the incredible Mercedes-Benz S-Class that is an homage to the wonderful 300 SEL 6.8 AMG "Red Pig" that essentially put AMG on the map. Check out the gallery above and see which one you like the best. Related Video:
