Ford Ranger 2001, Red In Color, 4 Door W/jump Seats on 2040-cars
Daleville, Alabama, United States
| This vehicle is a Ford Ranger, 2001, it is a 4 door with jump seats. The transmission on it is rebuilt and the work that was done on it is shown in a picture. The air conditioner works great on it. The truck will need some new tires.  This truck is for local sale only. Has some issues with the fuel system. Sometimes it starts, and sometimes it does not, especially when the temperature is below 32 degrees, or when it has not been run for a while. Has plastic or fiberglass fenders and other synthetic body parts. I just installed a new premium battery. The transmission was rebuilt in 2013 at Mr. Transmission-Milex in Ft. Walton, Florida. Someone along the line installed a six cylinder Mazda engine. Does not burn oil. With new tires and the fuel system addressed, this would be a pretty good running truck. And attractive as well. |

Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage
Mon, 03 Jan 2011The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.

Project Ugly Horse: Part VII
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Devils, Details and Weight Reduction
There are many things I could call this exercise. A party is not one of them.
I've spent three days crammed in the axle well of this 1989 Mustang with nothing to keep me company beyond a trouble light, a DeWalt drill on the very last of its legs and billion razor sharp, red hot slivers of metal with an affinity for my most sensitive of regions. My joints are raw from crawling around on the concrete. I'm half deaf from the shriek of the spot weld cutter and the boom of the cold chisel and hammer.
2013 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]
Wed, 12 Dec 20122012 is almost in the books and automakers are spending December gearing up for the 2013 auto show season, which tips off next month at the Detroit Auto Show. Traditionally, the latter opens up with the announcement of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and this year figures to be no different.
But up until this moment, we didn't know which six vehicles would be parked ahead of the stage as finalists, with executives and engineers waiting for the winners to be disclosed. Whittled down from October's "short list" of nominees (11 cars and 10 truck/utility vehicles), the finalists are as follows:
