Super Cab project: 2.9 - 5 speed 134000 miles. Has not been driven in 5 years. Bought as a parts truck, it was in better shape than the truck we needed the parts for (my son wrecked his Ranger). Replaced blown engine and bad transmission with engine and transmission from an individual doing a V8 swap on his Ranger (his son had wrecked the Mustang donor). Seller stated engine had been rebuilt and currently had 50,000 on it when purchased. Did the swap and the Y-pipe bolts would not tighten up, went to Ford dealer and bought new ones, still wouldn't tighten. Dealer said they didn't have a clue. Family issues forced an abrupt halt on the truck. It has sat since. It does have a cracked windshield and one dent high on the passenger side of the bed (see photo). We did fire it with open exhaust, sounded fine. Summit Racing has a set of Headers with Y-pipe, I just never bought them. The tailgate is used up, comes with a new in the box tailgate. Also have extra engine parts and a hood, bumper, and grill. I didn't dig the engine parts out of the shed for pictures. Interior is dirty and needs a headliner installed. Transmission has not been filled with fluid, brakes will need to be gone through, gas tank drained and cleaned. Also installed a new slave cylinder when we did the swap. Has 1985 Mustang SVO wheels and tires on it, 1 wheel had a curb ding that a local shop said they could repair. Vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end listing early if it sells. Truck is not drivable, will need a winch to load. I have had good luck shipping with U-SHIP, shipping is the responsibility of buyer. Will load up all extra parts in truck prior to shipper coming to pick it up. Thank you

Weekly Recap: Matthew McConaughey's star shines brightly for Lincoln
Sat, Jan 3 2015The commercials were a little strange at first, but the ensuing spoofs were hilarious. And all jokes aside, Matthew McConaughey has made a difference for Lincoln. Advertisements starring the Oscar winner launched in September, and the results have been impressive. The number of customers clicking on Lincoln.com to check out the MKC – the crossover McConaughey pitched – has tripled since the ads began airing, a spokesman told Autoblog. They also generated 4.4 million views on YouTube and spawned parodies by Ellen DeGeneres, Conan O'Brien, South Park and Jim Carrey on Saturday Night Live, which racked up another 15 million views. Most importantly, Lincoln's sales have increased 15 percent through November, helped significantly by the strong launch of the MKC. Without the addition of the MKC, Lincoln's sales would have been essentially flat last year. The MKC has received solid reviews from consumers and the press, though it has had several recalls. "The overwhelming response to the MKC campaign sparked truly great awareness for Lincoln," Andrew Frick, Lincoln group marketing manager, said in a statement. Now Lincoln has launched another round of spots, which kicked off New Year's Day during college football bowl games. This time, McConaughey is hawking the MKZ sedan and its hybrid sibling. The spots, called Diner and Balance, use the same artistic formula as the earlier ads, with McConaughey intoning seriously about the cars in dramatic settings. They were shot over two days in Los Angeles and were directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, a Danish filmmaker who directed the 2011 move, Drive. The ads continue Lincoln's multiyear deal with McConaughey, who has said he's been long been interested in the brand. He starred in the 2011 thriller, The Lincoln Lawyer, as a defense attorney who worked out of a Town Car, though that was before his deal with Lincoln. In one of the earlier ads, McConaughey claims: "I've been driving a Lincoln since long before anybody paid me to drive one. I didn't do it to be cool. I didn't to it to make a statement. I just liked it." That sentiment appears to have worked for the MKC's launch, and with this new advertising blitz, Lincoln hopes it carries over to the MKZ. Are you the next Ford Edge? [UPDATE]
Wed, 13 Feb 2013What looks to be the next Ford Edge has been leaked in an apparent corporate Powerpoint presentation deck. Despite the thumbnail image's blurry and pixelated quality, it appears as if the next generation crossover will be staying close to its current aesthetic despite an all-new front clip with redesigned grille, headlamps, and lower fascia with integrated fog lights.
The upscale-minded Blue Oval CUV is due for a redesign in 2015, having just received a mid-cycle refresh for 2011. It isn't clear what changes lie beneath the new skin, either in terms of mechanicals or interior refinement, but we suspect Ford will be looking to put some distance between the next generation model and the new Escape, which is suddenly much more car-like and not that far off the more expensive Edge in terms of overall size, power or refinement.
UPDATE: Substituted clearer image - thanks, Sean!
