1970 Ranchero Squire with camper shell. Selling for a friend who is out of town frequently. A remanufactured 351 Cleveland V8 with 2bbl carb was installed 5 years ago. According to the paperwork ($7000 worth of engine work), it was only driven about 500 miles since rebuilt. Rebuilt radiator, generator, starter, master brake cylinder. Equipped with A/C, AT, PB, PS, AM radio (not working), seat belts. Has Dayton radial tire with good tread. Currently registered and insured. Runs very strong. I have no idea if the A/C works.

It has a straight rust-free body which needs paint. Chrome is good. Interior is pretty good. Small dent on right rear of tailgate. Trim loose on right front fender. Needs minor latch repair on driver's door (it looks like someone tried to break into the driver's door). Door latches fine but not tight. Owner says it needs shocks.

Very decent car worth refurbishing with a new paint job.

Ford recalls 1.9m cars and crossovers for defective airbags

The Basics: Ford is recalling a total of 1,898,728 vehicles to replace defective Takata front passenger-side airbags. This includes the 2007-2010 Ford Edge, 2006-2011 Ford Fusion, 2005-2011 Ford Mustang, 2007-2011 Ford Ranger, 2007-2010 Lincoln MKX and 2006-2011 Lincoln MKZ, Zephyr and Mercury Milan vehicles built in North America. The Problem: The defective airbags have been linked to ruptures that can send metal fragments at the passenger, due to deteriorating propellant. Injuries/Deaths: Ford claims it's not aware of any injuries due to the problem, but rupturing Takata airbags have been linked to a series of serious injuries and deaths. The Fix: Dealers will replace the passenger-side frontal airbag at no charge to the customer. If you own one: Look out for a letter from the manufacturer to arrange service at your local dealer. Toyota sells six of 10 of hybrids in California

In an apparent shot back at Ford's increasing market share of electrified vehicles and claim that it accepts more Prius trade-ins for its own hybrids than any other car, Toyota has flexed a muscle and played the numbers game to put the Blue Oval in its place.
Leaning on its hybrid market dominance in California, the Japanese automaker stated that six out of 10 hybrids sold in the Golden State are Toyota models. And it keeps coming: Year-to-date through May 2013, Toyota sold five times more hybrids than Ford. One of every two hybrids in California is a Prius model. In addition, Toyota notes that it has sold 1.5 million Prius vehicles in the US, 90-percent of which are still on the road today.
