Strong-running 351C, with Summit 600 cfm, 4 barrel carb on Edelbrock manifold. 3 speed automatic, shifts firm, no slipping. Power steering and power disc-brakes. Sweet-sounding exhaust through a new muffler, mid-exit.
Black-center, 17" wheels with polished lip on car. 14" original wheels with trim rings, minus one dog-dish hub cap, and good white-lettered tires also included. Factory A/C (no belt currently but all components are in place and seem to be in good condition). The heat/A/C controls work fine. Heater hoses disconnected when I purchased car. Might need a heater core. California Blue-Plate. (Tags just expired Feb. 2014). The body has some rust but not bad for the year. Some floor panels replaced. Others POR 15'd to stop any further rust on floor pans. Seat is black pleated vinyl and is in good shape. Carpet is fresh beige/neutral color. Original dash-pad is covered by black carpet cover. Watch how Ken Block spent his weekend in Barbados
Thu, 22 May 2014Regardless of what you think of his skill as a racer, Ken Block is an expert showman. At this point, he has a career of showing up around the world to do vehicular stunts, and he's still able to go racing as well. It's a pretty sweet niche to carve out. Recently, Block was in Barbados to participate in Top Gear Live and the first event of the Global Rallycross Championship season, and Ford Racing produced a short video to show off his exploits.
It looked like a great show. Block got to race Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car and had a very weird crash during a Rallycross race that put his Ford Fiesta on its roof. Top Gear also released an extended look at Block and Hamilton's spectacle with the two of them expertly sliding around. 2016 Ford Mustang GT bringing back hood turn signals
Sat, May 9 2015The 2016 Ford Mustang is being teased again, this time with a short video. And what you're looking at here is a nod back to Mustangs of the 1960s. Ford is bringing back a hood with turn signals in the vents. In 1967, Ford offered an optional hood on the Mustang with two heat extraction vents that faced the windscreen. Inside those vents were amber turn signals, so, you know, drivers could see their own blinkers blinking. A novelty feature, sure, but a nice historical cue that Ford is bringing back for its updated 2016 'Stang. We also know that Ford will offer a California Special pack on the 2016 Mustang GT. Beyond that, we don't expect too many more changes, seeing as how the Mustang was just completely redesigned for 2015. Stay tuned for the full details on Monday, May 11. Related Video:
