I have owned this truck since it was new on the lot. After 20,000 of driving it on the street, I decided to do modifications to make the truck more street strip and show worthy. I did a body off restoration, allthough there was no rust or damage to the truck just grime and crappy factory paint. The chassis is done in 2-part polyurathane gloss black, with all new red energy bushing throughout. axels have been replaced and the 4:10 8.8 posi has been upgraded. New springs both front and back, Full length traction control bars installed(to stop any wheel that may occur). Front disk rotors upgraded to Cryrogenic slots, with all new stainlees braklines front and back. Dual transcoolers with AN lines mounted in front of the radiator. Single oil cooler mounted behind fron air dame for engine cooling. Bed hs new carpeted bedliner installed(grey). Flush mount steel Tonneau cover finishes of the back nicely with the smoothed steel roll pan on the back in place of the bumper. All stack bed pockets removed, and tailgate handle shaved and reinstalled on the inside on the tailgate. Cab had had the third brake light shaved, as well as the key door locks, and antenna. all badges have been removed and filled as well. Hood is a fiberglass Cervinni cowl induction model, that is not produced any more. Headlights and park lights are all crystalyn, with clears on the back and color changing bulbs installed for safety. Trans is rebuilt for street and strip by "Level 10" in New Jersey. great job guys. Shifter conversion is mod I did myself (painstakingly), with the shifter being a Billet B&M. Torque converter is an Art Carr 2500 stall. Up front is a the factory GT40 engine with some mods including AFR 185 aluminum heads, 1.5 roller rockers, Kenne-Bell 6lb. Supercharger, Powermaster alternator, Crane HI-6TR ignition, Kenne-Bell cold air system with K&N filter, Flex-A-Lite dual fans, Polished billet pulleys, polished Mastercylinder with billet cover, Auto meter instruments, for RPM, Boost, Fuel Pressure, and Trans temp. Bassani equal length headers with HPC coating. Wheels are custom made 17" Intro's with Yokohama AVS/ST's. This truck goes fast, corners fast, and is a blast to drive to shows, and rod runs. I'm just ready for a new project, which we all know cost money. Thanks for you interest in my toy. Ken

50 new vehicles by 2025: Ford making big push in China
Tue, Dec 5 2017SHANGHAI — Ford will launch 50 new vehicles in China by 2025, including 15 electrified vehicles, the U.S. firm said at an event in Shanghai on Tuesday, as it looks to rev up sales growth in the market and shift towards cleaner electric cars. Ford's sales in China have been weak in recent months, and the company is scrambling to come up with electric and hybrid vehicles to comply with strict Chinese quotas over production and sales for so-called new energy vehicles, or NEVs. The U.S. automaker is undergoing a broad review of its China operations, part of a strategic re-think under new Chief Executive Officer Jim Hackett, which will likely see the company focus on electric commercial vans as well as electric cars. "Between now and 2025, we will launch 50 new vehicles in China, and of those 50 new vehicles, 15 of them will be all-new electrified vehicles," said Peter Fleet, Ford's head of Asia Pacific, pointing to big growth in the "utility" segment. Fleet also said Ford's China revenue would grow by 50 percent over the same period. China is pushing automakers toward electric and hybrid petrol-electric vehicles, setting tough quotas for NEVs that come into play in 2019, and has signaled a longer-term shift away from traditional internal combustion engine cars. The major shift in the world's largest auto market has jolted some automakers, sparking a spate of recent electric vehicle (EV) joint ventures in the market. Ford has announced an EV tie-up with China's Anhui Zotye Automobile Co Ltd. "We've never seen change like we do today," said Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford. "Everything is being disrupted" by the development of autonomous vehicles, trends such as ride-sharing and electric vehicles, he added. "It's clearly the case that China will lead the world in EV development, and so we at Ford are investing enormous amounts of money both here in China and globally to bring electrification into fruition." Leno recalls '90s showdown with Tim Allen and his mullet
Wed, Oct 7 2015Not many of us have buddies with garages full of classic cars, but that isn't the case for Jay Leno and Tim Allen. Of course, one of the advantages for two guys with such vast collections is occasionally getting to pit their cars against each other. The two comedians did just that in the mid-'90s with a burnout battle on The Tonight Show between Allen in a race-prepped Mustang and Leno in a drag racer. After some time away from regular television, Leno is returning to the airwaves with a Jay Leno's Garage series premiering on Oct. 7 (tonight) at 10:00 p.m. ET on CNBC. Let this clip serve as another taste of what to expect for the new TV show's mix of comedy and cars. After reminiscing about the old days in a gorgeous garage, the comedians get into two modern machines to reprise the classic challenge – after a little trash talk anyway. Don't worry because the YouTube series isn't going anywhere, though.
