A TRUE BARN FIND...HAS BEEN SITTING IN A BARN IN TEXAS SINCE 1976....THIS TRUCK HAS GREAT "PATINA", THE BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT AND ALL THERE. THE ONLY RUST IS A SMALL SPOT ON EACH FRONT FENDER AT THE BOTTOM AND THE BOTTOM OF THE BED HAS A LITTLE RUST HERE AND THERE.....BED SIDES AND FRONT ARE SOLID AS IS THE TAILGATE....OTHER THAN THAT, THERE IS NO RUST ON THIS TRUCK. THE FLOORS ARE VERY SOLID, DOORS ARE RUST FREE.......ETC... YOU WON'T FIND A PICKUP OF THIS ERA IN THIS GOOD OF SHAPE!!!!  YOU COULD LEAVE THE BODY JUST AS IT IS, ADD ENGINE, TRANNY, INTERIOR, WHEELS AND TIRES AND HAVE AN INCREDIBLE HOT-ROD!!!

THE ENGINE AND TRANNY ARE BOTH GONE BUT REAR-END ROLLS FINE. THE FRAME IS PERFECT, NO RUST AND NO MODIFICATION.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A BUILDER, THIS IS AN AWESOME TRUCK......NONE BETTER

I HAVE A CLEAN TEXAS TITLE IN HAND.....I PREFER CASH IN PERSON, BUT WILL EXCEPT  WIRE TRANSFER, CASHIER CHECK, MONEY ORDER OR PERSONAL CHECK, BUT EITHER WAY, FUNDS MUST CLEAR MY BANK BEFORE TRUCK WILL BE REMOVED FROM MY PROPERTY. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRANGING AND PAYING FOR SHIPPING.....TRUCK MUST BE MOVED OFF MY PROPERTY WITHIN 3 WEEKS OF SALE TO AVOID A $30.00 PER DAY STORAGE FEE....I HATE TO DO THIS BUT I SIMPLY DON'T HAVE THE SPACE NOR AM I IN THE STORAGE BUSINESS.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE MEANS TO PAY FOR THIS ITEM PLEASE DO NOT BID.

Ford blimp crashes inside Portland Trail Blazers arena

Fri, Dec 5 2014

Portland basketball fans got a free, very safe recreation of the Hindenburg disaster when a Ford airship crashed into the stands during a game between the Trail Blazers and Indiana Pacers. Reportedly no one was hurt, but arena staff trying to push the inflatable vehicle through a hole it was too big for, made for some fantastic video and photos. This content is hosted by a third party. The first gives an idea of just how hard it was to fit the blimp through the exit of the arena, and the second is a time-lapse look from someone right next to the action. All these clips need is Yakety Sax as background music for some true Internet gold. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Ford F-150 RaptorTrax is Ken Block's ultimate snowmobile

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

Even when Ken Block isn't starring in the latest Gymkhana video or tearing up Global RallyCross courses, he's finding new ways to redefine "awesome" as it applies to motorsports. For evidence of this, look no further than Block's latest Monster-badged creation, the Ford F-150 RaptorTrax.
Billed as the "world's fastest snowcat," the RaptorTrax started life as a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, and then a set of Mattracks were put in place where the truck's bead-locked wheels and meaty rubber once resided. The goal was to create a truck that made it easier - and presumably more fun - for Block and his buddies to hit the slopes on their snowboards. Aside from the obvious track upgrades, this truck also received a Whipple supercharger, full roll cage, Recaro seats, an in-bed snowboard rack, a roof basket and a rear-mounted winch - you know, just in case something or someone actually manages to get this truck stuck.
The RaptorTrax will be on display later this week at the Winter X Games in Apsen, CO, but we'll have to wait until next winter for a full Block-worthy video of the truck. A full press release from Hoonigan Racing Division is posted below, and a high-res image can be found by clicking above.

Ford predicts it will finish 2013 as top-selling US brand

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

Ford is ready to call the ball on its 2013 sales totals, predicting a first-place finish for units sold in the US for a single brand. The company anticipates selling more than 2.4 million vehicles when all vehicle sales over the last 12 months have been tallied, repeating the victory it trumpeted over Toyota last year.
According to Ford's accounting, it sold 329,677 more vehicles than did Toyota in 2012. This year, the Blue Oval expects that margin to grow; through the end of November, Ford says it has outsold Toyota by 396,041 units.
Retail sales of Ford products are projected to exceed 1.7 million units for 2013 (the best retail result in 6 years for the company), with passenger cars accounting for 600k of that total. The redesigned Fusion is expected to crest the 290k mark, and the Fiesta is said to be ready to hit a model-record of 70k-plus. Meanwhile, utility vehicles and trucks are still paying a lot of bills in Dearborn, with the new Escape racking up an expected 300k sales and F-Series trucks chugging along at 688,810 units sold thru November.
