BUY IT NOW OR MAKE OFFER on this old radical custom 1940 Ford Pickup that was built back in the early 1960's, it is powered by a Buick Nailhead engine with 3 carbs, automatic transmission and looks like an early Olds or Pontiac rear end. The body is modified with custom tilt frontend with 59 Lincoln style headlights, frenched in antenna, exhaust cutouts in fender to uncap headers, customized rear fenders roll pan and tailgate. The interior has a full custom dash with all Stewart Warner gauges, rare Twin Tach and Moon gas pedal. I did start the truck and the engine sounds good(I did not drive it)the brake are low but working. This is a old custom that has been sitting for years and would need work to make it a driver, All I have for it is what you see in the pictures and nothing more, it is a project needing total restoration and sold as is where is. Leno talks racing with NASCAR racer Joey Logano

Jay Leno has to be under significant pressure knowing the appetite his fans have for a new Jay Leno's Garage video every week. This time, Jay takes a break from his usual format (something he's been doing with some frequency as of late) and goes back to his roots as a talk show host. There's no classic in the garage his episode with an interesting story to tell and a sumptuous exhaust note. Instead, the focus is purely on interviewing 23-year-old NASCAR racer Joey Logano about what it's like to be a racecar driver in his Ford Fusion.
Logano started racing at the tender age of six and has risen up the circle-track ranks to the big show of the NASCAR Sprint Cup. The two of them talk about what it's like to compete in the sport today compared to yesteryear, and Logano shares some racing anecdotes. Of course, they also get into what it's like to be on the racetrack controlling a car with about 850 horsepower, a four-speed manual transmission and brakes without any power boost. We've heard rumblings of a changing of the guard at Ford, and this live stream from The Blue Oval itself is set to confirm the rumors: Alan Mulally will be succeeded by the automaker's current Chief Operating Officer, Mark Fields.
Mulally, who is 68 years old, has served at the head of Ford for eight years, and his official retirement date will be July 1st, 2014. Fields, who is 53 this year, has been with Ford for 25 years and has been groomed to take the helm from Mulally for the last several of those years.
