Nice old '35 Ford pickup here...Same owner since 1996...Owned by an older gentlemen locally...Good quality build that would make a nice driver or local show truck...It's not a Barrett-Jackson quality ride though and I'm not asking B-J money...All steel body except for fiberglass fenders...The steps are actually steel...Weld Rod Lites...Only 2700 miles on it since built...Truck sat for about 4 years...I need to have the carb cleaned and adjusted as it has a hesitation to it...Little bit of header noise...Paint is really nice...Truck has heat and a/c...Glass is excellent...I just put new '32 door handles on it and a new '37 rear view mirror...I also just installed the new V8 Ford Banjo steering wheel which is leather wrapped...350 Chevy engine with a 3-speed automatic...Believe it has a shift kit in it as it shifts nice and tight...GM rear end...Drop straight front axle with disc brakes on front...Just a nice, honest old driver that you will be proud of-I actually hate to see this one go!...Sorry I didn't take the time to tidy up the inside for the pics...Clean and clear title in hand...NO TRADES...SERIOUS buyers can reach me at 816-604-8094...Hate to be rude but please don't call me unless your serious about buying my truck!!!!...If you need to ask your wife or banker do that before bidding on it!...The more I deal with the public the less tolerant I have become...I'm located just SE of Kansas City, MO...Thanks for looking...I'm only gonna run it one time through here-if it doesn't sell it goes into my collection!

Ken Block shows us around his Ford F-150 RaptorTrax

Thu, Jan 22 2015

From his Fiesta HFHV to his '65 Mustang Hoonicorn, the inimitable Ken Block has some awesome machinery at his disposal. But arguably the coolest of the bunch is the RaptorTrax. Based on the previous-gen Ford F-150 SVT Raptor - the one with the steel frame and V8 engine - Block's back country snowmobile on steroids packs a set of tracks at each corner, a full roll cage, equipment rack, lighting, jump seats, survival gear... everything he could need for a trip off road. The Gymkhana master showcased the beast a couple of months ago on the slopes of Baldface in Nelson, BC, but now he's followed up with a less eye-popping but more informative clip in which he shows us everything his RaptorTrax has to offer. 2015 Ford Mustang invades SEMA, led by King Cobra

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Ford showcased more than a dozen customized 2015 Mustangs at its sprawling 20,000-square foot display this week at the Las Vegas Convention Center as the iconic pony car's 50th anniversary celebration continued at the SEMA Show.
While Mustangs are always a hot commodity at SEMA, the new generation brought increased attention from the aftermarket, as builders like Galpin Auto Sports, Richard Petty's Garage and Vaughn Gittin Jr. offered their takes on the new 'Stang.
The extensive display included a range of Mustangs from mild to wild, with everything from a 600-plus horsepower King Cobra pictured at the top, to paint-and-wheel packages. The new regal Cobra, which we spied early in our SEMA adventure this year, may not be the replacement for the Cobra Jet as we speculated, but it does seem to point the way forward for the next iteration of a supreme Ford dragster. Fat drag slicks out back make it's reason for being abundantly clear, and for tells us that modded car is good for a 10.97-second quarter-mile run.

Mulally to stay at Ford through end of 2014 at least

Fri, 06 Dec 2013

Alan Mulally isn't going anywhere... at least not just yet. The CEO who helped turn around Ford Motor Company has been linked to the top job at tech behemoth Microsoft, leading to a flurry of rumors about potential successors. Those rumors, though, may have just been put to rest - at least for a little while.
Speaking to Edsel Ford II (great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford) at the unveiling of the new Mustang, Automotive News Europe confirmed that Mulally would stick around until the end of next year. "Alan is staying through the end of 2014 and that's all I know," said Ford. "Frankly, he has told us that his plan is to stay with Ford through the end of 2014."
Presuming that Edsel Ford is correct and that Microsoft isn't so hot on Mulally that it saves the position for him, it seems increasingly likely that the 68-year-old exec is more interested in continuing to work in Dearborn rather than in Redmond.
