Always dreamed of owning a 1000+ Horsepower ride, but couldn’t justify the $1,000,000+ price of admission? Do
you find it ridiculous that every single car you’ve ever owned is laughed at by 1000cc Sport Bikes? Is the cure
to your mid-life crisis really another pedestrian Porsche or Corvette? The answer to the above questions, and many
others, is simply Hellanor.
Hellanor began life as a lowly Mustang GT. The poor car was driven a total of 100 miles before
being completely stripped down and reborn in the image of the most badass mustang conceivable. A complete Shelby
GT350 Widebody conversion and GT500 front fascia was installed before the vehicle was professionally prepped and
painted with the striking wide red stripe with Metallic Silver finishes on the edges.
The seats were removed and recovered in Armageddon branded Katzkin Leather. All interior accent pieces were removed
and professionally painted to match the red scheme throughout the car. A Raxiom shift knob was added along with
some gauges to keep an eye on the engine vitals. But, you’re not reading this just because Hellanor is the
meanest ‘Stang you’ve ever seen. You’re probably wondering about the 1000+ Horsepower.
This vehicle was originally built for the SEMA show and Garrett Turbochargers. Armageddon Turbo Systems was invited
to create the most powerful street-legal mustang for the entire SEMA show. Armageddon is internationally renowned
for producing the highest quality performance products at any price. The entire Armageddon catalog was installed to
Hellanor and boy do the results show it.
After the SEMA show Hellanor was taken on a 5 State cruise to prove this was not all hype. While travel under its
own power this vehicle laid down more than 1000 Horsepower to the rear tires on 5 different independent
dynamometers.

Production of Shelby GT350 is coming to an end
Fri, 26 Jul 2013One Autoblog staffer who drove the limited-edition Shelby GT350 wrote it probably was the best Mustang he'd driven, but, at some point, the fun had to come to an end: December 31 is the last day the GT350 will be available to order.
The GT350's option list has evolved much like it did for the original 1965-67 GT350. For 2011, the 45th Anniversary edition only came in coupe form and was painted white with blue stripes, just as with the 1965 car. The 2012 GT350 was offered as a coupe or convertible, and three colors were added to the option list, just like the 1966 model. For 2013, more colors and options were added in addition to equipment and styling updates, which resulted in Wilwood instead of Baer brakes. No major changes were made for the 2014 model. From the first car in 2011, customers have been able to choose between three different configurations for their 5.0-liter V8: naturally aspirated with 440 horsepower, supercharged with 525 hp (with warranty) or supercharged with 624 hp (without warranty).
"When we unveiled this latest version of the Shelby GT350, we promised it would be built for a limited time to preserve its collectability and value," states John Luft, president of Shelby American. He may have a point, because the original GT350, which also had a limited production run, is among the most valuable muscle cars in the world.

Cosworth double-feature is XCar's a drool-worthy look back
Wed, Jun 11 2014While American fans of Ford performance cars in the '80s and early '90s were loving the 5.0 Mustang, Taurus SHO and, for those who wanted to be a little different, the Merkur XR4Ti, British fans of the Blue Oval were getting their own unique take on speed. The Sierra RS Cosworth (which was similar but not identical to the aforementioned Merkur) and later Escort RS Cosworth were the stuff of dreams with huge wings, hood vents and big power for their time and class. XCar Films aims to find out whether it is little more than nostalgia that makes these classics famous or it really is their legitimate performance. Thanks to its Formula One and racing success, Cosworth was already a well-established performance name in the UK by the time it began selling tuned engines to Ford for the Sierra and Escort. The Sierra RS Cosworth hit the scene in 1986 with a turbocharged, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 204 horsepower and rear-wheel drive. Its huge wing at the back signaled it immediately as something special, and it proved to be a performance powerhouse on and off the track. When it was retired, Ford replaced it with the Escort RS Cosworth that used an upgraded version of the same engine with 217 hp, all-wheel drive and an even bigger rear wing to net yet more racing victories. XCar really gets into the spirit of the time, opening the video with the lo-fi grain of '80s and '90s TV, but to find out whether the Cossies stand up to modern scrutiny, you have to watch the video below. Stay tuned until the end to enjoy them at their best with some vintage motorsports footage. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences.
