If you are ready to set your balls on fire with POWER then you are looking at the right vehicle! This one will be the envy of all your friends and enemies...imagine pulling in your neighborhood...the stone cold looks from your neighbors knowing that their wives and daughters want nothing more than to go for a dirty ride with you LOL. Then they here the sound of the Procharger F1A coming up the street way before they hear the Borla 13 GT500 quad tip mufflers after the exhaust gasses have passed through the Boss 302 CNC ported heads over those beautiful forged pistons swing on the forged H beam rods and special forged Boss crankshaft...then into those high end tig welded Kooks stainless steel long tube headers and O/R X. Then the Ford Racing Laguna Seca chin spoiler and sinister green tow hook, windshield banner, custom painted brakes catch their eye. Wait a minute! Is that a set of 20" 2 piece True Forged Speed Six wheels? No way...surely not! The Roush side splitters showing off the stance of the Ford Racing K springs...Then the RTR rear decklid spoiler out back as the hear the rumble go by. When you stop in the street for a Rock Star John Force burnout they will struggle to see who is sitting in the car through the 20% window tint....drop the hammer and the car tracks straight because of the Steeda upper control arm and HD bracket, billet Steeda lower control arms, FRPP Relocation brackets, Steeda adjustabel panhard bar and brace. Immediately the Toyo R888 285/35/20 mounted on the 10" wheels smoke into a violent fury only known to a very select few people that are cool enough to navigate the highway in such a ferocious beast. Black streaks as far as the eye sees...Then when the jealous nighbors have had enough they hear the scream of the F1A and 7500 rpm symphony of the Boss 302 engine under boost howling like the race engine that it is...begging for more. Shut down the party and hear the blow off of boost into the atmosphere. Then you slowly back up and park in your driveway as the women of the neighborhood are changing their panties. All of the men folk will make their way over to your humble abode to see what made all of that noise. As you proudly pop the hood and the MRT hood shocks slowly raise the hood and all of the high polished caps, covers and polished Procharger F1A and bracket make them reach for sunglasses.

Seriously guys...and girls this is a flawless car with clean carfax. No accidents ever, garage kept. I bought it from a Pawn shop owner from Greenville NC through Capital Ford of Rocky Mount where i work. Never abused, never race...no track days at all. No drag race days ever. The blower and all mods were done in October of this year. Less than 2 months and 1000 miles on mods. I got a blip box out of another car and put in 2 weeks agos so don't think because you see that means the car has been tracked. Fastlane Motorsports and Capital Ford of Rocky Mount have done all mods to the car. This a fully optioned Boss including the Torsen axle and Recaro seats with Boss Car cover. 4200 miles This car is not hurt and has not been beat up...yet :)

Ford looks back on 50 years of the Mustang in Detroit

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Ford has something special sitting in its booth here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. In fact, it brought two special somethings in the form of the Ford Mustang 1 Concept that first saw the light of day in 1962 and the very first production Mustang that rolled off the production line in 1964.
These classic creations are sharing floor space with the brand-new 2014 Mustang in honor of the pony car's 50th Anniversary. Since Ford's latest 'Stang already made its auto show debut (at a number of locations, including Los Angeles), we think it's pretty cool that the Blue Oval did something special for its home-town show.
Check out both the Mustang 1 Concept and first production 1964.5 Mustang above and below.

What car should James Robertson buy to drive his famous 21-mile commute?

Thu, Feb 5 2015

The Internet has been abuzz this week with the story of Detroit resident James Robertson, the 56-year-old factory worker who has walked some 21 miles to work for the last 10 years. The Detroit Free Press brought Robertson's story to the fore, helping an online fundraising campaign to generate more than $275,000 (as of this writing). The original goal was just $5,000, or about enough to replace the used Honda that died on Robertson back in 2005, and left him walking. So, newly flush with funds, what's the perfect car for Robertson to buy? Let's look at the specifics of his situation, and try to pick out the best options. Here's what we know: Robertson's commute is (famously) 21 miles; he lives in downtown Detroit (for now) and seems pretty humble, so something very flashy is probably out; former Honda aside, his ties to the city (and statements about being a Ford fan) seem to indicate a Detroit Three company product is best; he's a single guy with a girlfriend; he's got to deal with Michigan weather, and the sometimes fickle snow removal processes in The D. Here are some choices: Ford F-150 Robertson is on record as being a Taurus fan, and after a decade of walking I've no doubt that the big sedan would offer a cozy respite. Still, as a car guy and a student of the industry, I'd have a hard time recommending a sedan so clearly in need of replacement. Especially when The Blue Oval has such great stuff within the rest of its roster. The 2015 F-150 seems almost perfect for Robertson. Opting for either of the new EcoBoost V6 engines should help keep fuel bills in reasonable check, while healthy ride height and four-wheel drive will get him to work on time even during the snowiest of snow days. Better still, with a fat options sheet and car-like ride quality, Robertson can have just about every amenity he might want, in a package that won't disrespect his blue-collar roots. Chevrolet Colorado You guys saw this one coming, right? The smaller footprint of the midsize Chevy pickup, relative to some of the other options here, should be an advantage for urban parking and driving. And again, 4x4 is an option for the nasty weather, the running costs should stay pretty low and there aren't many tech/luxury features that can't be had in-cabin. I'd go ahead and splash out on the Crew Cab bodystyle, too, just in case Robertson feels like starting a carpool.
