If you have questions email email me at: ewa.kosik@manlymail.net .
This is an absolutely pristine 2012 Shelby GT500 with the optional SVT Performance Package. The car has always been
garage kept, and has never been driven in the rain. It is washed weekly and detailed monthly. Aside from some
shallow surface scratches which can easily be polished out, the body which features Matte Black Racing Stripes is
in perfect condition.
The rear tires are Nitto NT555R 305/32R20 and the front tires are Micheline Pilot SuperSport 275/45zr19. Both
front and rear tires have less than 2,000 miles on them.
The car is completely stock with the exception of:
BMR Lower Control arms
BMR Panhard bar
Quicktime Performance Electronic Exhaust Cutouts
The control arms and panhard bar completely reduce wheel hop and allow you to apply the full 550hp to the pavement
with smooth, lightening quick acceleration.
The QTP Exhaust cutout includes the wireless controller, which means no holes were drilled in the dash. They are
completely adjustable allowing you to choose with the click of a button between a fully stock sound, the full roar
of an unrestricted 5.4L V8, and anything in between. Cutouts were professionally welded in by a custom fabrication
shop.
The interior of the vehicle features the optional Recaro leather seats with embroidered Cobra on the headrest, Ford
Sync with Touchscreen Navigation, Sirius XM radio, Streaming bluetooth audio and the Shaker 500 stereo system.

Next SVT Mustang may axe Shelby name, go naturally aspirated
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Following our first glimpse at the 2015 Ford Mustang out on the road, the fine folks at Road and Track have divulged some details on what the Blue Oval's next pony might have in store. We've already seen that the car will get some very sleek, Evos-inspired design cues, and an independent rear suspension is indeed in store. These new details, however, concern the muscle car's beating heart.
For starters, the base Ford coupe is expected to carry on with V6 power, likely from the same 3.7-liter unit found in today's car. From there, R&T says the next step up will be a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, likely displacing 2.3 liters, putting out as much as 350 horsepower. Of course, a Mustang wouldn't be a Mustang without V8 thrust, and R&T states that the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 will continue on into the 2015 car, making something like 450 horsepower.
But it's at the high end of the Mustang range where things will, reportedly, get very, very interesting. Road & Track claims that the top-shelf 'Stang will likely lose the supercharger from its engine, producing a metric crap-ton of naturally aspirated grunt instead. Additionally, the SVT-fettled Mustang will likely be dropping its Shelby moniker, in favor of "a name you're familiar with," according to the magazine (you know, like, Cobra).
2013 Shelby 1000 unleashes its 1,200 horsepower ahead of NY show reveal
Fri, 22 Mar 2013True story: Last fall, I had the opportunity to spend a week with Ford's new 2013 Shelby GT500 - the Blue Oval's factory Mustang with 662 horsepower and 631 pound-feet of torque. It's an amazing beast, to be sure. I'm not sure if it was Michigan's damp streets strewn with potholes and wet leaves, but at no point did I ever say to myself, "You know, Ford is on to a really good thing here, but what it really needs is about twice the power." And yet, for people in warmer climes with infrastructure in better nick - or for those whose muscle cars live their lives out on the track, there's apparently sufficient demand to warrant just such a beast.
Quick studies will recall that Shelby American launched its 1000 last year to commemorate its 50th anniversary, but it is returning to the New York Auto Show with a fresh version based on the 2013 GT500 I drove. The 2013 Shelby 1000 whips up 1,200 horsepower on pump gas thanks to beefed-up forced induction, engine internals and cooling. Wisely, it also incorporates an adjustable suspension and big brake package to make sure those ponies have the best chance being safely deployed to the ground.
What price the world's most powerful "production" muscle car? $154,995 for starters - donor GT500 not included. What, no convertible variant?
Ford dominates most-stolen SUV list
Tue, 17 Jun 2014
The Ford Escape leads the NICB's list with 1,421 examples stolen.
If you drive a recent Ford SUV or crossover, you may want to keep a watchful eye out for thieves - especially if you live in the New York metro area or in Detroit. A new study from the National Insurance Crime Bureau has named three Ford models as the most likely vehicles in their genre to be stolen, with CUVs in general being especially attractive to bandits.
