Make your statement in this beautiful Muscle car, this 2005 Pony has style to make them stop and look and the horse power to turn their heads. Our 2005 Mustang Roush convertible pays homage to the famed Mustangs of the 1960s with styling. The interior folds the iconic muscle car design formula for success together with thoroughly modern manufacturing. Even what cannot be seen has brought improvement to this Mustang cabin experience. Sound deadening materials out of sight are integrated in such a way that road and wind noise are reduced, but the throaty growl of performance gets a chance to make its note more well heard. The real music in the Mustang equation is produced by a 4.6-liter V8 engine and it's 5-speed manual transmission. Slip behind the iconic 3 spoke wheel and take this one for a long drive. Don't forget to put the top down! This Ford Mustang is the longest surviving of the affordable breed of classic American muscle cars. European car sales up 8% in February
Sat, 22 Mar 2014Three weeks ago an analyst increased projections for European car sales this year, expecting them to climb three percent compared to last year instead of 2.7 percent. That number is a postive sign after years of hard times but it turns out February was especially good, overall European sales climbing eight percent on a wave of southern European recovery and discounts - and this comes after five months of gains including January's 7.2-percent jump over the year before.
The only country of Europe's five largest markets to post a decline was France, just as it did in January, Germany, the UK and Italy posting solid double-digit numbers, Spain rocking the charts with an 18-percent increase because of a government program to encourage trade-ins.
The only brand to miss the wave was Volkswagen, dropping 0.8 percent as it watched the double-digit growth at sister brands Audi, Seat and Skoda lift the Volkswagen Group sales up by seven-percent. Peugeot overcame flat sales at Citroën to improve the group by 3.5 percent, BMW and the Mercedes-Benz/Smart combo rose by four percent, the Fiat group jumped 5.8 percent, Ford was up 11 percent, the Renault Group 11.5 percent, General Motors 12 percent and the Toyota clan by 14 percent.
Ford demonstrates Mustang's new Line Lock burnout feature
Tue, 22 Apr 2014Been saving your pennies for a 2015 Ford Mustang? Put in a few extra shifts or some overtime? Got a great down payment ready? Well, however much you saved for your new pony car, start saving more - you'll need the extra money to spend on tires.
That's because the Mustang will come with a system called Line Lock, which can lock the front brakes electronically, allowing drivers to perform big, dumb, smoky burnouts without moving so much as an inch. It's sort of like launch control, only the average driver might actually use it.
Now, line locks aren't uncommon, particularly in drag racing. Usually, a flip of the switch locks the front brakes. The Mustang, besides offering the system from the factory which is unique in and of itself, looks a bit more involved.
