I am selling a 1991 Mustang GT Convertible completely restored. I have owned the car for about a year, I love it, but unfortunately my family doesn't, they would like to have another Jeep; therefore this is why I am selling it.
I am not sure of all of the official technical specifications, I purchased in the condition it is and it definitely high performance. The only thing I have had done to the car was replace the clutch cable with a high performance kit and reinstall catalytic convertor because the previous owner removed them.
The Accident on the vehicle report was because I had back out in a parking lot and damaged the front fender of another vehicle. It resulted in no damage to my vehicle.
The engine, transmission, and suspension system has about 15,000 miles on them. The convertible top and motor are new, the interior is custom and in excellent condition. It might not be called the GT or even use the coupe's retro look, but rumors point to such a beast being on the way. To get idea just how closely GT owners are bonded to their cars, take a ride with the participants in the ninth Ford GT National Rally in this short documentary titled Dust Devils. The owners convened with over 80 of the retro supercars in Las Vegas, NV, to admire the coupes and give them a workout on the desert roads. Shelby American cleans house of 14 concept cars
Wed, 25 Jun 2014Typically when an automaker rolls out a concept car or pre-production prototype, it does its tour and then disappears into the company's archives. Maybe it will be displayed for the public to see in the company's own museum or maybe it will spend most of its time under covers in a warehouse somewhere, but every once in a while, an automaker will open up its history and start selling off its concept cars. For Shelby American, "once in a while" has just rolled around.
The House that Carroll Built is moving from its previous headquarters at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to a new facility off of the Las Vegas strip, and in the process is liquidating fourteen of the rarest cars in its collection. That presents a tremendous opportunity for muscle car collectors to bring one or more of these snakes home.
As you might expect, the catalog is composed mostly of Mustangs, but not exclusively. There's a pair of 289 Cobras: the last of the 50th anniversary slab-sided continuation cars and an original development vehicle, offered at $200,000 apiece. At the other end of the spectrum you'll find the 2013 Shelby Raptor concept for $125k and Focus concept for $50k. And of course there are the Mustangs.
