1989 FORD MUSTANG GT 5.0 Liter High Output V8
Only option this car does not have is rear window defogger, probably due to it being an Arizona car!
I'm the 2nd owner bought from a used car dealer here in Phoenix AZ, I bought it in '94 and drove it daily till 2008. I parked it and had the title marked as "STORED", this way there would be no problems registering it when I was ready to do some repairs or turn it into a street rod as I had planned to do when I parked it. It was covered most of the 5 years it has been stored and had regular starts and runs until the battery went dead. I put in a new battery and some fresh gas and it fired right up! No leaks even after 5 years when I moved it away from the spot I saw not 1 drop of anything on the concrete! I always had repairs done at a Ford Dealership directly across the street from my job. I think I have all the receipts. I have the original car stereo and amp but I didn't bother to reinstall it since I'm sure that the new buyer will not bother to use it. The car was used in car stereo competition here locally and won a trophy. There are some upgrades to the door panels making it possible to mount 2 - 6'5" speakers plus a tweeter in the front door area, with the mounting at an angle to point the speakers upward towards the listeners ears making a dramatic improvement in sound staging. The car has a very straight body and decent interior always had sheepskin covers on the seats and never had any cigarettes smoked in it. The pictures will show any closer details of any imperfections in the body including a crack in the passenger side taillight cover, a crack in the windshield, cracks in the center counsel plastic.
It does need a few repairs to make before it will be in perfect driving order. One of them is a worn lower control arm bushing on the drivers side, the heat and sand grit tends to wear on these things, I have replaced the passenger side and have the part for the drivers side waiting to be installed. The reason I didn't install the drivers side is because the transmission developed a problem with 5th gear, when you shift into 5th gear it just freewheels, it spins but is not transferring power through the drive train. I'm not sure if the pin that holds the gears in place sheared or if there is something else wrong. It doesn't make any noises or grind it just doesn't engage the drive. Those are the only problems that exist as far as need to be fixed issues. Of course there are things that could be upgraded as with any car with higher mileage, but that's purely up to the buyer 's preferences and not really causing any real problems.
The car is all stock and has not been raced around or driven hard, I never even got 1 speeding ticket with this car, it was always washed and had the oil changed regularly at 3000 miles. It was used mainly for a car stereo installation which lead to an upgraded alternator and custom panels. The stereo weighed about 300 Lbs with all the extra wires boxes speakers and batteries, which made the car much slower than others. I knew this and drove it as such. I have also replaced the clutch & throw out bearing, radiator, both the MAP & MAF sensors (costly little items), the fuel pump & fuel filter, the drivers side door handle was upgraded to an all metal handle, both door lock motors (pins), Mirror switch in the center counsel, rotors, brakes, smog pump, water pump, fuel injectors, the Top Engine intake was cleaned, new wires plugs and rotor, good belt, new struts, tires are a little bit larger than they should be but they are in decent shape. BF Goodrich 15" 50 series "L" sized, rub on frame in front when the wheel is turned all the way. I have a few spare tires that will go along with, also I have the original Cold Air Intake Box and K&N Filter, it now has an upgraded K&N round filter on it due to not wanting to deal with the stock box.
It would make an excellent candidate for anyone who has a dream of building up a Fox Body Mustang
all of the parts are there and the body is straight & rust free
Most of the parts that are worn are the same parts that would be replaced in a build anyway, (springs, suspension, bushings, transmission, motor build up)
That's why I held onto it for so long, recently I was laid off from my job of 6 years and found myself faced with making a choice. The Home Owners Association here has already caused a big problem with it and I have been left with no choice since I have no cash to start the build now, I have decided to let it go!
The title has been marked as "STORED" so there will be no problem with the buyer when they decide to register it, no fines or any extra cost. This car has never failed an emissions test ever, not even close!

2020 Harley-Davidson GMC Sierra brings the iconic brand to a new truck

Sat, Jan 11 2020

The Harley-Davidson Ford F-150 rides alone no longer. Thanks to the Tuscany Motor Company, it now has a fellow truck associate to cruise with side-by-side on the open roads. Introducing the 2020 Harley-Davidson GMC Sierra, which will make its official debut at the 2020 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. For years, a Harley-Davidson special edition package has been associated with the Ford F-150 nameplate. Although Ford does not offer a direct option from the factory, Tuscany Motor Company answered the demand and now builds truck packages that carry the famous American motorcycle name. With the direction of Harley-Davidson, Tuscany creates interior and exterior customizations that reflect notable and iconic features of the bikes. This year is the first time Tuscany has ever offered a Harley-Davidson package on a GMC Sierra, and as expected, it's pretty similar to the one offered on the F-150. The package includes at least 60 exclusive parts, and the Sierra is available in Onxy Black, Summit White, or Satin Steel Metallic.  Setting the tone are Fatboy-inspired 22-inch milled aluminum wheels wrapped in chunky 35-inch all-terrain tires. As Tuscany is a division of Fox performance parts, the truck rides on a specially designed BDS suspension with tuned Fox shocks and lateral stability bars. The truck also has a redesigned front bumper and grille with an integrated LED light bar for off-roading, power running boards with rock guard trim and entry lights, color-matched Harley-Davidson-designed fender flares, custom front fender vents with the Harley logo, an induction-style hood, a redesigned rear bumper, and a tuned exhaust with billet tips. More badging, tailgate cladding, a windshield header, orange tow hooks, and a bed rug add extra pizzazz. Finally, for all the planes, drones, and aliens who are eyeing pickups from the sky, the tonneau cover is debossed with the Harley-Davidson logo.  Inside, the fan pack includes leather seating with orange diamond stitching, and piano black door panels, console, and trim. Harley-Davidson badging and branding is on the seats, on the center console, on the floor mats, the door sill inserts, the instrument gauges, and even the pedals.  If this is up your alley, and you're interested in buying, the Sierras, no matter the color, start at $94,995 before taxes and fees. 1969 Ford GT40 Mk III found roaming the halls in Geneva

Wed, Mar 4 2015

The halls of the 2015 Geneva Motor Show are filled with all manner of exotic racing machinery, from the likes Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus to McLaren. But there's one peculiar bit of history tucked away that we thought you'd be equally interested to see: a 1969 Ford GT40 Mk III. One of only seven known to be built, this Mk III coupe was intended as a road-going alternative to earlier racing-bred GT40 models, like the original Mk I and 427-cubic-inch, Le Mans-dominating Mk II. Due to its street-legal intentions, the Ford GT40 Mk III boasted revised bodywork that allowed for some luggage and new headlights, along with a redesigned interior with left-hand-drive and a shifter in the normal, center position. The Mk III wasn't very popular when it was new in the 1960s, in part because it looked different from other GT40 models and because it was pretty expensive, but that just means it's an awfully rare gem today. Take a look at the piece of history in our high-res image gallery above. 2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility is ready to tackle Chicago's mean streets

Wed, Feb 11 2015

As is the way of things, when a civilian vehicle gets a significant update, it's only a matter of time before its police counterpart gets similar upgrades. In the case of the Ford Police Interceptor Utility, it's debuting with the same visual updates as the Explorer on which it's based, at this week's 2015 Chicago Auto Show. Like the civilian-market Explorer, the PI Utility is available with a standard 3.7-liter V6 that pumps out 304 horsepower and 279 pound-feet of torque. The higher-caliber option is the tried and true 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, complete with 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. The standard Explorer's optional 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder, meanwhile, won't be offered to the boys in blue. Regardless of engine, the Utility enjoys standard all-wheel-drive, as well as a six-speed automatic transmission. The tranny's default setting is primarily for fuel sipping, although if it detects more aggressive inputs – based on brake line pressure, deceleration and lateral acceleration rates – it switches over to Pursuit Mode, offering officers snappier upshifts and more aggressive downshifts. The PI Utility's other cool, new system is called Surveillance Mode. To protect officers from sneak attacks, Surveillance Mode warns them when someone approaches the rear the car, raising all four windows and locking the doors. While Ford says the system has "intermittent fault filter technology" to prevent "erroneous changes in sensor signals," we're betting it won't be long before veteran officers uncover some way to prank rookies with the tech. Beyond these new systems, this is the same Utility that officers know and love, only with a significant facelift reminiscent of what's found on the civilian model, which debuted at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The new grille has a positive impact on cooling performance, Ford claims, while a new headlight setup accommodates the high-beam-based "wig-wag" lights. The new look has also allowed Ford to offer police departments additional customized lighting options, for that special touch. Inside, a new steering wheel and center console should make officers' lives easier, as will the new (and requested) liftgate release button, found in the overhead console. Check out the first images of the new Police Interceptor Utility (and, sporty drivers, memorize that headlight pattern) up above. Be sure to check back for additional live images once we check out Ford's latest cop car, at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.
