Your are bidding on a 1988 Mustang LX 4 cyl car converted to a 351W. Motor has been rebuilt using a low mileage standard bore block. New rings, rods, mains, oil pump, gasket set. Has aluminum intake, 600 Holley. The heads and intake have been port matched and small exhaust port work. Has 477 lift cam, 270 duration (new). Has rebuilt C4 transmission with shift kit. Believe rear has 3.73 gears (may have 4.11, not sure). Newer Flowmaster exhaust, 2.5 inch mandrel bent pipes. Has H-pipe/BBK shorty headers. Has newer GT front spindles and rotors, calipers. All brakes are new, interior is very clean. Front tires have about 60%, rear tires have about 25% tread. Has sunroof, exterior trim around sunroof is missing, but no leaks. Has 5 inch Cowl hood. Overall very good shape, no rust but has dents on the roof and lower driver side door/rocker. No junk, runs and shifts great. Received this car in trade and no longer in need of it. Wife says too many projects! Not responsible for any shipping or costs.

Ford dominates most-stolen SUV list

The Ford Escape leads the NICB's list with 1,421 examples stolen.
If you drive a recent Ford SUV or crossover, you may want to keep a watchful eye out for thieves - especially if you live in the New York metro area or in Detroit. A new study from the National Insurance Crime Bureau has named three Ford models as the most likely vehicles in their genre to be stolen, with CUVs in general being especially attractive to bandits.

Sat, Jun 6 2015The modern performance variant of the Ford Mustang enjoys a long, illustrious history. While well-known examples like the Boss 302, Shelby GT350, and Shelby GT500 get all the attention, the modern versions of these cars may not have been possible had it not been for the three generations of the Cobra R, sold in 1993, 1995, and 2000. Limited to just 250 examples, the second-generation model wasn't as rare as the Fox-body Cobra R that preceded it, but they were still pricey and difficult to acquire. Customers were required to hold a competition license in order to take delivery, and prices were roughly equivalent to $59,000 in today's money. As Road & Track tells it, neither of those facts were a handicap – Ford sold its entire roster of 1995 Cobra Rs in just five days. RT's Jack Baruth managed to score a drive in an extremely low-mileage example of this now-vintage track star. He delivers an interesting look into the way a performance car from two decades ago behaves in today's world, and finds that despite its age, the 1995 Cobra R is still "a true sweetheart." 2016 Ford Mustang GT bringing back hood turn signals
Sat, May 9 2015The 2016 Ford Mustang is being teased again, this time with a short video. And what you're looking at here is a nod back to Mustangs of the 1960s. Ford is bringing back a hood with turn signals in the vents. In 1967, Ford offered an optional hood on the Mustang with two heat extraction vents that faced the windscreen. Inside those vents were amber turn signals, so, you know, drivers could see their own blinkers blinking. A novelty feature, sure, but a nice historical cue that Ford is bringing back for its updated 2016 'Stang. We also know that Ford will offer a California Special pack on the 2016 Mustang GT. Beyond that, we don't expect too many more changes, seeing as how the Mustang was just completely redesigned for 2015. Stay tuned for the full details on Monday, May 11. Related Video:
