So I bought this coupe to use for parts for my convertible, decided to sell the convertible no longer need the coupe. The 250 straight six has about 10 miles on a rebuild it starts right up and runs well it's cold blooded though it's been sitting for a while may just be bad gas. As you can see in the pictures it's a work in progress. There's some bondo in the panels not a whole lot though. The lower quarters are actually very solid the worst spot on the whole car is the driver's side torque box and driver side floor pan and they're not all that bad easy fixes I've included pics of both. The dash is in nice shape it has a couple cracks, the rest of the floors are solid and need carpet. The radio still works. It needs a new headliner. The taillights are in the trunk witch is also solid. This would be a very nice project to work on while driving it, or yank the 6 and drop a nice 351 in there! A six cylinder will get way better gas mileage! The car was originally white, I have a clean clear Washington State title in my name for it. Low starting bid for a car that runs and drives. Automatic c-4 transmission, power steering drum brakes. The guy I purchased the car from got primer on the chrome trim he wasn't very careful. The front hood on this car is very nice! The neutral safety switch needs to be adjusted, you have to push on the shift handle when starting. The underneath and wheel well areas other than what I mentioned before are very nice clean metal with undercoating. Please feel free to ask questions!

Bomb threat closes Ford Romeo Engine Plant [UPDATE]

Thu, Jul 30 2015

UPDATE: Ford has released the following statement about what's happening at the factory: "The Ford Romeo Engine Plant was reopened at 12:47 PM after law enforcement investigated and cleared the site. The afternoon and evening shifts are expected to report at their usual start times. Further questions on the investigation by law enforcement can be directed to the Romeo Police Department." Due to a bomb threat, Ford has evacuated its Romeo Engine Plant, and law enforcement is on the scene. According to the Detroit News, police with bomb-sniffing dogs are searching the building, which covers over 2 million square feet. Ford spokesperson Mike Moran wouldn't disclose to Autoblog how the threat was received but said that it came in between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Eastern on July 30. "The day shift was sent home," he said. According to the Detroit News, the second shift was also asked not to come in. About 500 people work at the plant, Moran indicated. At this time, Moran said that there hadn't yet been an update from law enforcement whether anything had been found in their search. The Romeo Police Department confirms to Autoblog that it's handling the investigation. However, the authorities wouldn't comment further about what is happening at the plant at this time. Ford Fiesta ST GRC Racecar is hungry for podiums in 2013

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

As we reported earlier, the Chicago showing of this plucky Ford Fiesta ST GRC racer points to bigger and brighter days for Global RallyCross. For the upcoming season, you can expect to see Ken Block and Tanner Foust both driving the Ford racecar, and if last season's results are any indication, you can anticipate quite a few podium appearances, as well.
The Fiesta seen here was built by the Swedes at OlsbergsMSE, and will be driven in anger by Foust in 2013. Modifications are, as you'd expect, extensive, and include an engine, exhaust and braking upgrades, a racing style short-throw shifter and a limited-slip differential. As you can see, the car has been fully stripped out and caged for maximum speed and safety, too.
Refresh your memories with the details of the car, in the press releases below. And if you head out to the Chicago Auto Show this year, don't forget to drop by the Ford stand to have a look.
