Up for bids is this 1967 ford mustang coupe. This is a mild project car. It would not require a ton or work to get this car back on the road. It was a original 6 cylinder car that was converted over to a V8. It will run but the carburator needs some work and the car needs some fine tuning before it is road ready. All the glass is good in it. The body is pretty good on it. The floors are good. Someone cut the front floor pans out and replaced them with some new metal. The car needs a cosmetic restoation. The frame rails and trunk floor are good in it. These 67 mustangs are getting harder to find in any condition. I have a clear title to it. If you have questions give me a call at 318-278-1069. I will require full payment within seven days of the end of auction. I will accept cash in person certified bank check, or bank wire transfer as payment. The car will have to be picked up in Jonesboro Louisiana. I can store it as long as needed as long as it is paid for. The car will need to be picked up on a trailer. Watch Ford build a Mustang atop Burj Khalifa, world's tallest building

In 1965, a Ford Mustang Convertible proudly went on display at the top of the Empire State Building, the world's tallest building at the time. Earlier this year, the Blue Oval recreated the stunt by bringing the latest droptop 'Stang to the sky-high structure. Unfortunately, while still iconic, the New York skyscraper has lost the world title. Of course, an automaker can't let something like that get in the way of a good publicity stunt. For the inauguration of the Ford business unit in the Middle East and Africa, the brand gave the 2015 Mustang Convertible an even bigger building to climb – the biggest in fact. The droptop made its way to the 112th floor of the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building. To put a final topper on the whole event, executive chairman Bill Ford was the one to place the car's famous badge, making it complete. Like with the Empire State Building spectacle, getting the Mustang to the top wasn't as simple as just driving it off the elevator. Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line

The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.
