Up for auction with a modest reserve is a very rare and lovely 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. This model is an R code Mustang built in San Jose, California and has a very dry body all around. She has been well cared for over the years retaining most of her originality inside and out. Under her hood is her factory six cylinder with Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission with some mild performance upgrades such as an electronic ignition for a fast start and freshly rebuilt carburetor that makes this coupe run and drive very nice. Her oil was just changed recently and new battery from last year makes her ready to go for some enjoyable driving. This Mustang comes equipped with bucket seats and a full center console with front vanity and rear ashtray plus working rear passenger courtesy lights. Her exterior is a stunning Wimbledon White complimented with full Poppy Red upholstery that is gorgeous. The paint is holding up well and looks sharp with just the usual handful of scratches and marks with nothing outrageously wrong. Her interior is very nice with not much to complain about. A full set of polished seat belts are a nice touch while serving a purpose and this Mustang comes with a Pony tape deck and integrated speakers that are pretty cool. The steering wheel is a brand new vintage three slotted polished wooden GT Grant racing special. She is rolling on stock steel rims with correct slotted Mustang caps and was just fitted with brand new BF Goodrich raised white letter tires all around that make this coupe look extra special. Her trunk is stock with a full spare, green checkered correct mat plus jack and tire iron even. Flaws are minimal outside of a small crease in the middle rear chrome bumper that is hardly noticeable and some usual patina but very minor. Mileage on the odometer is current but her title states true mile are unknown. This is a super nice and rare Mustang that should make the next owner pleased without too much trouble. Bid with complete confidence and simply call, text or write with any questions whatsoever.

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid
Thu, 02 May 2013No Prius Killer
As much as we enthusiasts like to rail on the lowly Toyota Prius as the harbinger of death for all we hold dear, there's no denying the machine's absolute and interminable grip on the hybrid hatchback market in the United States. Toyota has so thoroughly sunk its teeth into the segment that you can clearly hear the automaker's incisors clacking against one another with the conclusion of each financial quarter. And there's little wonder why. Buyers can plop down less than $25,000 and have a runabout that can return up to an estimated 51 miles per gallon in the city, leaving every other entry on the market with precious little gristle to gnaw on.
Enter the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid. With its claimed 47 mpg combined, the funky little hatch from Europe already falls behind the 48 mpg city offered by the Prius, but that marginal sacrifice in fuel economy could be a small price to pay for buyers who want a credible alternative to the stalwart Toyota. Unfortunately, like the Fusion Hybrid, the C-Max Hybrid had trouble even approaching its Environmental Protection Agency estimates during our time with the car.
Ford Mustang SVT caught looking fierce on the 'Ring
Tue, 15 Jul 2014The next-generation Ford Mustang SVT is one of the most anticipated performance cars of the moment. We've already seen it testing multiple times, but it has always been covered is some very heavy camouflage. However, Ford has just given us our best view yet of the new muscle car. According to our spy photographer, the Mustang was at the Nürburgring for high-speed testing, which meant that the Blue Oval had to remove most of the heavy obfuscation that the SVT has worn previously.
The stylish, more revealing camo makes picking out some of the more interesting details about the SVT rather easy. Starting from the front, there is the big hood scoop to feed cold air to its still mysterious engine. You can also immediately make out the model's new grille and lower front air dam. It has a vertical piece running from the bottom of the hood all the way to the ground. The aggressive styling almost gives the 'Stang the look of two fangs ready to bite down. The hood seam is even taped off here, which shows us its outline.
Around the side, it appears that the front and rear fenders are wider than stock, and the sills are certainly much larger. You can also just make out the SVT's bigger brakes behind its black wheels with a polished lip. Finally, at the rear, things appear mostly stock other than the diffuser that the exhaust outlets nestle into.
